I took on a financially lucrative endeavor in March 2009 that requires a great deal of time. There was no one who wanted to take over the time slot, the show (even coming up with a new show), or who could or who wanted to pay the necessary fees to host their own show.
I pretty much was spending about $400 to do "Chopping It Up Live." It was a form of "giving back." I didn't do it for the money. The resale of the shows eventually paid the cost of the show and my co-hosts time.
I also started to experience a lot of computer technicalities (w/Inter-net/Skype). A lot of times there would static, fading in and out of sound, my line would drop, etc. Sometimes Tanj would have to finish an interview because of the technical difficulties on my end.
