Great book! I just started reading it the other day online from this pdf I dl'd but felt It didn't do no justice but went ahead and bought the book brand new. Trying to not not identify with the mind is very difficult but once you grasp the concept of "Now" as the author puts it, it helps out a lot. I usually don't read books in long spurts but I read this for over a hour yesterday as it's that good.
I recently finished this book the other day. Great insight on a lot of things. Constantly throughout the day I try to "check" my ego. Its not the easiest thing to do, but the more practice the better. The days do seem more enjoyable as I start to embrace each moment versus constantly thinking about the future or past.

I didn't realize how much my ego was in control until I started checkin' it! I had to laugh at it after a while. This is a great exercise and it cured my insomnia. The stuff that kept me up at night was absolutely ridiculous, now that I think back on it.
I am reading this now. So far it is pretty good and I find myself stopping a lot and really thinking about how the ego works & just observing myself more. Hope to finish it next week.
