I feel the same way about Scorpios being clingy and possessive.  I was married to a very jealous and possessive Scorpio. I'm a Cancer and I am not the needy or clingy type I guess because I have a Sagittarius rising. I tend to be a bit flighty in relationships. I am drawn to Capricorns but I've never dated one.  I'm dating a Pisces now and it's a great relationship. (long distance and lovin it!!)My best friend is Scorpio (she has major issues but I love her dearly!) Mostly all my associates and friends are Capricorn and I adore being around them.  I have a couple of Taurus associates (1 is very manipulative!LOL!!) Astrology is a trip though!

Actually, my moon is Aquarius. I can say that learning about astrology makes it easier to understand why some people seem to unconsciously do things--and helps me to more easily focus on possible personal strengths and weaknesses to balance them as necessary. Actually, my moon is Aquarius. I can say that learning about astrology makes it easier to understand why some people seem to unconsciously do things--and helps me to more easily focus on possible personal strengths and weaknesses to balance them as necessary. It was liberating to learn about more than just sun signs, because I look at some of the traits of a cancer and they don't line up very well.  However, looking at the bigger picture makes it more clear.

That's because ideally, a person's Astrological profile / Natal Chart is supposed to tell you just that - a person/native's potentials, unconscious behaviors, etc. It is not supposed to be a tell-all, and I usually don't like to throw the world 'accuracy' in there because accuracy depends on the person reading and agreeing with what they see. I personally have done many many charts and seen many versions of my own chart, and from experience I can say if I use the same methods for others as I use my own chart, chances are the charts should equally make sense. This is all the purpose for having the correct date, time, and place of birth. Latitudes and longitudes make a big difference, as does say 11:40am and 11:44am since degrees change approximately every 4 minutes. That could be the difference between being 0CAN11 (0 Degrees 11 Minutes Cancer) and say 29GEM58, which does make a big difference.

When I started to go beyond the Sun signs, I started to focus more outside of my sun sign as well. As a matter of fact, nowadays I feel more like my Rising sign than Sun sign, especially on the job. I can relate to traits not matching up - I am right on the "cusp" of the Sagittarius-Aries decanate in my Sun-Sag, and can tell you religion is not my thing (although i'm open to it) and I am not as fun-loving as many Sags are. I am more of the "brainy," intelligent kind of Sag as well as opposed to the athletes. I have little athletic ability, but full of Knowledge and interest in cosmic law, of course as evident in my chart. I also take studies and learning seriously, and you can thank my Sun Conjunct Saturn in the 3rd House for that! lol

It's all how you look at a chart. Depending on how you look at it will determine what type of info you get from it. Overall though, Astrology does explain why and how alot of things happen, and people are the way they are (superficially anyway).

Yeah I actually know a couple other people with this combination...no surprise they are both into Astrology. Another thing to note with them is there is alot og Gemini in their charts, so that kind of adds enhances mental ability and powers of concentration to their 'watery,' intuitive selves and creativity, not to mention passion(s) for what they enjoy doing.

I actually find this to be quite interesting. Being a fixed sign, it would not be surprising to see 'clingy' Scorpions. After all scorpions do have claws serving that purpose lol, but what gets me is this right here-

Taurus opposes Scorpio in the zodiac. Between the Taureans I know and the Scorpions I know (taking all of them into account), I find that Tauruses are far more possessive than Scorpions are. Then again, this could depend on whether they are men or women, because I know a Scorpion brotha who is quite possessive, but not like male and female Taureans I know. Then I find myself right now challenging the notion that female Scorpions are vengeful, because I am coming across many of them now and they are nowhere near vengeful. Maybe the guys, but not the ladies. If anything, the ladies will put up a bit of a fight but they will not come at you to the point of really "transforming" you for better or for worse by seeking revenge on you.

You should be getting along with Capricorns well - Capricorn opposes Cancer in the zodiac so while you have your differences, you work well together and complement each other in many ways. Speaking of which - it's funny that you mention having never dated one, because a Capricorn sistah I know said the same of Cancer men. She said they may work well together, but she would never date a Cancer guy. Oh, and as a Sag-rising dating a Pisces, let me ask you - Where is Venus and Mars in your chart? I am also willing to guess between the two of you there's alot of 'mutable' activity going on, which makes the relationship thrive!

Yes cancer's mood rise and fall like the tide!! If you can find a way to be their moon you can keep them up or screw their emotions over like a a hole whichever suits your character!

Yes it is interesting. I have learned so much about myself and people as a result. 

I was just thinking as I'm reading the posts that I've always attracted & dated mainly fire or air signs (even though I desire a water sun sign or a taurus sun). My sun is scorpio, but I have ascendant & 3 planets in sagittarius as well as moon in aquarius, so it's interesting. There is a lot of fire in my chart. Then one day I was looking at my chart and my best friend's chart. I have a whole half of my chart that is empty and she does as well but they are opposite sides. Also, I am more spiritual, while she is more material and we do balance each other out quite a bit as we balance ourselves out. I also notice how we both can learn so much from each other regarding certain issues, challenges, etc. Also our north node and a couple of planets are the same, it's interesting.
