Conversations with Nature
« on: October 31, 2009, 11:49:23 PM »

Today I think I was talking with nature.Today, during the daytime NY had perfect fall weather. I took my cousin trick or treating (her mom asked me and I couldnt say no)

So we were walking down the street and I just felt a connection with nature. The way the leaves and the wind were blowing made sense to me. At one point the wind felt weird and I just let like something was about to go down. Right after I had that feeling, I turned my back to keep walking and my cousin started to sprint across the street. I yelled for her to stop and when she did a car was coming (may not have hit her, but who knows with people now a days). It was like the wind warned me.

Later while I was waiting for her to finish up at a house,  the wind and leaves started to blow in a playful way, I just randomly started to chuckle. The breeze and the sun just felt really good today.

I feel like for a few moments today I really connected with nature and took the time out to just appreciate the beauty of fall. I wonder if I really was speaking with nature?  But the way the wind was blowing... it def seemed like I connected.
Its important not to forget nature and the environment as we go about our daily lives.

A favorite past-time of mine is just walking around looking at the trees the leaves and how the seasons change. Nature is glorious and wonderful!

It really is! That period of time outside really was what I needed. I was very relaxed and rejuvenated.

Just putting one's hands in the soil is rejuvenating!!!

Hugging trees helps exchange energy too.

I LOVE water... especially water in motion!
The sun is warm I appreciate the sun.
A cool breeze on a hot summa dey is nice but i dont like cold wind during winter. and i hate winter time!!! Its cold. Why does it get cold anyway? is this natural?

Autumn is an interesting time and energy field things are dying but it isn't a sad sort of death it feels good. Its winter that is the sad death. (sometimes)

I went out on Halloween myself and it was very good energy everywhere I went. (Lots of happy and excited children)
you know as much as we knock the holidays upon deeper research they still all go back to us!
Haloween is on a very important day and we should actually be cleansing this season.

I agree nature does not nessecarily need our attention even though it does benefit (at times) from it.
But we need nature.

Deepak Chopra calls it "communing with nature", which is a great way to tap into the Universal Mind!  And when you do this you are able to make all the desires of your heart come true (as long as they do not violate the laws of nature).  Just as you had that feeling about the wind feeling weird and something about to happen you also get creative ideas too!

Commune with nature as often as you can, it has made a tremendous difference in my life.

Thanks Living Arts! I actuallly thought of you today while I was parking my car. The colors on the trees looked like a sunset and I wish I could capture the essence of the colors on a canvas.

While being in florida for a year, I never realized how much I missed fall in ny.  Spring, summer, winter get alot of hype, Fall is a pretty beautiful season that is underrated.
