Black women got their issues which the video elucidates on but I think Black men and Black women have to collectively accept responsibility for the situations in our communities. People often want to blame the Black men and then people want to blame the Black women but it is co-creation yall. Niggas blamin sistas and sistas blamin niggas gets Blacks nowhere because we are both getting FUCKED IN THE ASS. So we might as well accept that we getting fucked and decide to take responsibility (the Black man and Black woman) and move ahead. Now I must state that since it is a man's world Black men are going to have to realize that we might have (or are expected to) to shoulder more responsibilities than the sisters but both of us have to be empowered holistically. Peace yall
why cant the men that make these videos complaining about black men ever show their faces?
Hmmm great question. The guy doesn't even sound black. He's shooting straight venom, generalities, and stereotypes. Smells like hatred. Never was mentioned the system that perpetuates the drop out and prison rate. That's because the black woman is the only culprit.
Most of his 'points' are laughable. White women are getting all the good black men? What evidence does he have to support that they are good men? That they're rich? In the spotlight? Brandy, Beyonce and Lil Kim are the best that black women can produce? Not hardly. I know plenty of black Queens, but apparently the 'voice' behind this video has not attempted to look any further than mtv. This video is poisonous and counterproductive to growth.

It's great that you don't know any women like this but for the masses this is true. I'm not talking about our aunts/mothers who have been married 30/40 plus years and have raised families. He talking about this new breed of females who have lost themselves along the way by playing into hands of the media(which is male dominated anyway!)by thinking it's okay to be called bitch, ho and running around half naked. I think the guy is more pissed off than anything about the state of the black woman. The part about the white women marrying black men, I could care less. For the young girls growing up if they don't have anywhere to turn and be mentored and nurtured this vicious cycle will continue. Hey it had to start somewhere! I didn't see this mess when I was growing up in the 70's & 80's.. The question is when did it start and how can we fix this?
He was on point to a certain extent, the topic can be debated though. I felt as though he sounded too general and seemed to encompass ALL black women by keep saying "black women this" and "strong, independent woman". I understood what he said and took what I felt was good points in though. He certainly sound like he was letting the "good for nothing black men" off the hook by keep shifting the blame onto BW. I think the blame can go both ways and both parties should be balanced to have a good relationship. Some of these women may have as girls grew up and raised with a 'good girl' mentality but then got pimped by a player and just changed and became the 'bad girl' because of that.
On the same hand though, the 'pimp' probably became that way because of retaliation of being played by a 'strong black women(that also is the bad girl) and changed from simp to pimp. In this case, both the man and women can be said to have agreed to let stuff like out of wedlock children and other sexual dilemmas happen.

Well said, Beloved! The man is speaking on a PANORAMIC view, about a diseased new breed of Black females who bought into that independent woman bullshit of the late 1980s that has produced the magnified disease of today pertaining to Black females in general whom 70% have never been married, 70% are single parents, who also lead the nation in abortions, who are socially seen as the most promiscuous, who spend $500 billion on hair care, who don't cook in their kitchen but depend on the corporate kitchen (fast food restaurant), etc. The guy is 100% on point about Black females in GENERAL (or the masses of Black females). I saw what happened on many levels with Black people from the late 1970's, 1980's and 1990s and clearly see the ramifications of it today.
@newdeep, unfortunately every response I've had on there has been negative (even though there have only been 2 comments)...
A lot of Black people are in denial, but the collective problem(s) with Black America speaks for it self. Most stereotypes about Blacks in America are TRUE and are created by Black people and/or magnified by them if not created by them.

When I came to terms with that... I shut my mouth and just laughed in a sad and hysterical way!!! The worst part is black folk do it to they self. I got stuck how to deal with people who love degeneracy... I just leave them alone and cringe as they embarrass themselves and their communities. Peace. I don't identify with the people these stereotypes are about any longer there is a serious disconnect in the so called black community thanks to many things but most integration Peace.
