That’s where the air fryer comes in handy. It’s just a wonderful invention, and you may find that you come back to this recipe with each bunch of kale you purchase. You know what? Go ahead and purchase an extra bunch of kale next time you’re at the store so you can use it for more than this recipe.

When it comes to kale chips, you can use any kale variety you like. The common green curly kale is a great option because the ruffled leaves make for excellent crunch. After washing the leaves and removing the fibrous, thick stems, toss them in a little bit of oil and simple seasonings. We like the simple seasoning of sea salt. That’s all a good chip needs, in our opinion. If you feel so inclined, you can add other seasonings like black pepper, garlic powder, or onion powder. We’re almost positive that they’ll be delicious no matter how you season them.
