Ingredients
- 1 c dates, pitted and roughly chopped
- 1 c raw almonds
- 2 tbsp. raw almond butter
- 1/8 tsp. sea salt
- 1 tbsp. warm water
Instructions
- Combine the dates and almonds in a food processor and blend until finely chopped.
- Add the almond butter, sea salt, and warm water and pulse until a dough-like ball starts to form. You may need to stop blending, scrape down the sides, and continue blending to fully blend all the ingredients.
- Line an eight-inch by eight-inch baking pan with parchment paper and press the blended mixture into the pan. Press it down until it is about a half-inch thick.
- Place the pan in the freezer for about one hour to harden. Remove from the freezer and cut into eight bars. Enjoy when ready, storing the rest of the bars in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
