Welcome to 2018! If you have decided to make healthy changes this year, we applaud you and encourage you to pursue your goals. Some of you might want to live healthier lifestyles, but you may not know where to start. One of the worst things you can do is to go overboard without a set program. The lack of planning can make it difficult to stay on the healthy path, and that doesn’t help you with your resolutions.
If you are focusing on being healthier in the New Year, we have some great tips to help you stay on top of things. You can use some or all of these tips, but make sure that they work for you. Sometimes you need to modify in order for it to work with your lifestyle.
Drink More Water:
We always support hydration! Most people don’t drink enough water and drinking the right amount is a great challenge to adopt in the New Year. If you feel that you need some support, grab a friend, coworker, or family member and keep tabs on how much you both are drinking. You should strive to drink half your bodyweight in ounces of water each day to stay properly hydrated.
When you don’t have to worry about what to make for your next meal, life becomes a whole lot easier, not to mention healthier. Having a prepped lunch, dinner, smoothie, or snacks can help you avoid unhealthy food items. Dedicate one day out of the week to making meals for yourself and you’ll be well on your way to a healthier life.
The Dherbs 180 Challenge:
If you feel like you have absolutely no idea how to start a healthier lifestyle and need inspiration, the Dherbs 180 Challenge is the light to illuminate the darkness. Not only are there recipes, meal plan ideas, and an exclusive Facebook group, but you also get workout tutorials and more! Time is running out to register so get in while you still can by clicking here.
Make It Easy To Exercise:
If you are planning on getting a gym membership, but the gym isn’t in a convenient location for you, don’t get it. Chances are you will not go and you will end up wasting money on your membership. Make it easy on yourself by working out at home. You can use fitness DVDs, online workout videos, or you can walk/jog around your neighborhood.
Don’t Go Anywhere Without A Snack:
Let’s say you have started to meal prep and you are making healthy meals for yourself. Does it do you any good if you are hungry and buy a bag of chips or get some French fries? Try to pack some vegetable sticks, fruit slices, homemade trail mix, or you can make some of our healthy snacks by clicking here.
