As the name suggests, fat bombs are recipes that contain high amounts of healthy fats. They can be solid food or liquid recipes like the smoothies in this article.

 

Fat bomb smoothies are great because they require very little preparation. They are also easily transported, so you could bring a fat bomb smoothie in a cooler if you wanted a fat boost after exercising. From a metabolic standpoint, fat bomb smoothies fill you up and refuel the body. They help provide sustained energy and help the body recover after a hard workout. For all the smoothies, place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until you get a smooth consistency. You can enjoy the smoothies right away or save them for post-workout fuel.

Chocolate Avocado Chia Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk
  • ½ avocado, peeled and frozen overnight
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (soaked in 3 tablespoons of water for 10 minutes)
  • 2 teaspoons cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil
  • ½ cup ice (optional)
  • ¼ cup water (if needed)

 

Coconut Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil
  • ½ cup strawberries, frozen overnight
  • a pinch of sea salt (optional)

 

Avocado Coconut Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 avocados, pitted and peeled (you can freeze them overnight if you want)
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla extract

 

Cinnamon Almond Butter Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • ½ teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup ice

    Doesn't sound like it will mess up your FULL BODY DETOX. Go for it! But leave out the rice/soy cream! The rice milk is okay (but it is processed/cooked)!

    Q: I see also that you recommend a complete diet with these programs. I am guessing its a vegan diet right? I wanted to ask something on that is coconut milk and coconut oils ok for that? I personally had a very hard time trying to eat that many vegetables and many ph balance vegans seem to think fruits aren?t good either. I eat that many vegetables one it tears me up the next day and two I just cant consume enough calories that way. I can try and make up for it by eating things like almonds but I eat to many almonds I get the same problem the next day. Now coconut milk (unsweetened) and a digestive enzyme works for me for picking up extra calories.... but I hear very conflicting information about coconut and its saturated fat content.     The diet we recommend is vegan-based, and RAW FOODS. Fresh fruits, vegetables, raw nuts and seeds are ideal.

    Coconut Milk and Coconut Oil are excellent products to have in your diet. The healthy fats will keep you fuller.

    Q: I purchased the children's detox and received it a couple of days ago. After reading the pamphlet that came with it, I was wondering where/what kind of milk can I purchase for my baby while she is on the detox?     Actually, coconut oil is healthier for human consumption than coconut butter. Both are derived from a natural food source - the coconut, and thus may be consumed. Now as far as what the most healthiest oil, I don't think we can say it's coconut oil.

    Q: Can I use soy or almond milk for the smoothie:

    Unfortunately you cannot use either milk for a smoothie as you are not allowed to consume any dairy. Soy is not a natural food and most store brought almond milk is pasteurized and contains preservatives that helps maintain shelf life. You can consume almond milk if it's homemade.     Unfortunately, store brought almond milk is not allowed within the raw food diet. The only way of knowing that the milk is raw, natural, not pasteurized and does not contain any preservatives is if it's homemade.     Anything canned is going to be acidic. What ever you use for make, let it be raw. Raw coconut milk fresh from the coconut is alkaline.

    Hi! Thanks for the question. The chia shake should be fine as long as the chia is soaked in the drink.

    Eating small seeds like chia and flax seeds can go through digestion whole and be wasted. Soaking, sprouting, and grinding before consumption increases the likely hood that the small seeds will get digested and their nutrients utilized properly.

    I don't know the exact reasons why you are craving frozen coconut oil but clearly you are lacking something and your Body Intelligence instructed you to eat frozen coconut oil. The oil is perhaps serving as a vehicle for the fibroid debris so as to pull what debris it can out of your body. Coconut oil is natural so I don't see anything wrong with your newfound custom. As long as you're fine with it, keep doing it.

    Q: I was looking at your recipes for infant milk. I am breast feeding but need to wean. I was interested in giving him rice milk (Rice Dream enriched with vitamin a, c, and other vitamins). However, the website says not for use as infant formula. Why would this not be a good substitute? What would this be lacking? Why is your recipe a complete formula for proper infant nutrition?     Rice Dream is fortified with SYNTHETIC nutrients (vitamins and minerals) and therefore it's not a good source of organic nutrition.     Q: Yes coconut oil maybe natural but I go thru 3-4 jars per week, 1-1/2 a jar a day, not only is it making me broke out I do not think all that saturated fat is good for me. I know I lack a lot of protein and other vitamins in my diet. Could this lack of essential nutrition cause this weird craving? I don't know if it is the massive loss of blood due to the fibroids.

    I think you know the answer for yourself. Therefore, stop eating the coconut oil. Take some vitamins and minerals and see if this helps. Sounds like PICA, a nutritional deficiency which causes cravings. Blood loss most certainly will cause loss of nutrients.

    Q: I just started the Full Body Cleanse today! I reviewed the recipe section for ideas but I'm either allergic to the fruit or don't care for the vegetable.     Could you explain a little further? What do you mean by allergic to the fruit? Do you have certain fruit allergies or getting a reaction to the fruit? 

    Changes in your body are going to occur. Know that your body builds up a culture of bacteria designed to digest your current diet. Your taste buds may have been hijacked by high fat, high sugar, high salt, chemically processed foods. It will take 3 days or more to begin the chance in culture. You will find as your body cleanses your taste buds will be significantly different.

    Q: When looking at the Food Combining Chart I was wondering if smoothies are not a violation of all of the "recommendations." If it is suggested that certain items not be combined, how can smoothies actually be "healthy" to our bodies aside from the absolute nutrition they provide? Although I make them all the time, are we not potentially setting ourselves up for trouble? Just wondering. Thanks in advance for your expertise.

    Hi! Thanks for the question.

    The food combining chart is a suggestion for "optimal" digestion. It suggests we should eat mono meals optimally. This is often impossible and there is no evidence scientifically for this method. I am not sure how it would be studied anyway.

    It is considered best to try to adhere to the rules to the best of your ability. However, mixing fruits and veggies as in a green smoothie is absolutely fine. The benefits of the nutrition you receive will out weigh any digestive disturbance that may occur. Feel safe to have green smoothies in your diet and cleanse.
