A common misconception is that foods with tough skins are protected from pesticides. They aren’t. In fact, foods with tough skins are more likely to rely on their root system to absorb nutrients and water, which means pesticides get drawn into the whole system.

Although a bit more expensive, buying organic is an investment into your life, your health and that of your family.
