To meditate, one must break away, however briefly, from the world. Turn off your cell phone and pager, disconnect the fax machine, shut down the computer and turn on the answering machine…allow no interruptions during this special time. Place a “Do Not Disturb” sign or “In Meditation” sign on your doors (especially front door of your home). Also if possible wear simple loose fitting clothes.
Decide whether you’d like to have meditation music in the background. Silence is better, but music in the beginning may be helpful to you. The choice is yours!
Select a comfortable chair or place to sit (one free from distractions), and assume a sitting position with your spine relatively straight. Keep the face serene. Chin up.
*Where Should I Meditate? You may wish to set aside a special corner of one room, your own private sanctuary, a calm, quiet and peaceful place. You might furnish the area with objects or icons that have spiritual meaning for you, developing a little altar or shrine. Use what will put you into a contemplative frame of mind.
*How Should I Sit When I Meditate? Although the classic posture is to sit with legs folded and hands resting quietly on the lap or the knees, the key is to find a way of sitting that is comfortable for you.
Relax. Close your eyes slowly to experience a void darkness. (Remember to keep your eyelids closed throughout the following steps)
*Look into your eyelids as if seeing with your eyelids open.
Inhale (sniff) the inhaler and then remove from your nostril.

*Open inhaler, close your eyes and mouth, inhale gently and deeply and repeat your positive thought, affirmation, or meditation.
NOTE: True mediation does not require any affirmations, words, or even concentration, just total silence. You can simply sniff your inhaler and just sit in silence if you like.
Say the affirmation* (SLOWLY) approximately 5-10 times.

After saying these words (verbally or silently in your mind), Keep breathing steady for about 5 minutes and listen to what is being revealed to you.

*Experience the motion of going, as if driving in a car, and you’ll be going deeper and deeper – beyond the body and senses.
Open your eyes after you feel more relaxed and centered; gradually open your eyes and spring back to Earth (3rd Dimension) with renewed energy.
Tips & Warnings
Believe it or not, daily meditation can have a great impact on your sense of calm. Also when practiced regularly, meditation can aid in reducing stress, assist in healing, lowering blood pressure, significantly lowering the risk of sudden death by heart attack or stroke, and increasing personal awareness.
Begin with 5 to 10 minutes of meditation each day and increase to 20 minutes or more twice each day.
Answers come through the medium of silence; and the affirmation of a thing, makes the desire for the thing stronger and more obtainable. To affirm means to: “make stronger.” In the word “affirm” is FIRM, i.e. Af-FIRM!
You can repeat meditation throughout the day as much as you like. It is also best to do meditation/affirmation before going to bed each night (during a Dherbs cleanse and/or after).
If necessary, write your affirmation(s) down on a piece of paper and look at throughout the day as a reminder. Whether you chose to use the inhaler for purposes of the affirmation is up to you. However, we recommend use of the inhaler along with saying the affirmations. Smell is a powerful in stimulating thoughts.
