When A Loved One Dies

If you have just experienced the loss or death of a loved one, may you find comfort and understanding within this article.

Death is a transition. It is the final stage of human life, but not spiritual life. Death has been given the stigma of something negative, something that spells the end for all life, which is not true.

When the spirit or soul leaves the body, it moves forward to the next dimension that just happens to be different than the one we inhabit. The next dimension (and subsequent higher dimensions) does not require a physical vessel like life on Earth. In these other dimensions, the soul is free to travel without a hindrance. some may experience this phenomenon while dreaming or astral traveling (out of body experience) to the point where the soul is outside of your physical body.

A big problem we make here on this planet is that we confuse the physical body as the real person or soul instead of knowing that the flesh body is only a vessel that contains the soul for its duration on this realm in a particular lifetime (as there are subsequent lifetimes). Living and dying are nothing new to us. We have died and reincarnated numerous times.

You may have heard that “we are spiritual beings experiencing a physical existence”, and this is very true. Regardless of how you may define death or transition, it is the emotional tie to the physical manifestation of the soul that humans find most difficult to process.

We get caught up on the physical shell and miss the fact of the soul, so when the present life’s body ceases to exist, we become saddened and only so due to the fact that we became attached to the body rather than the soul.

The soul (the real person or entity) never dies nor can it. It simply changes outfits or bodies. It’s like having a closet full of outfits and considering each day as a lifetime. The soul is merely changing outfits (body) for each new day (lifetime).

It is very sad and unfortunate that religion does not deal in or with metaphysics or the occult interpretation of existence. The few exceptions are Gnostic Christianity, Jewish Kabbalahism, and Islamic Sufism.

What is Grief?

Grief is an emotional reaction to loss. People can experience grief at the loss of a pet, a person (living or dead), a lifestyle (such as divorce), or anything else. It is most commonly, however, associated with the death of a loved one, and the feelings can be overwhelming. At some death transitions or funerals, survivors may faint or collapse. Some try to get inside the coffin or casket with the deceased. People who talk and act like this are not grounded in life or do not accept life’s natural processes.

Grieving for a deceased loved one, especially a parent, spouse, or child, is understandable, but it’s probably the last thing the deceased wanted you to endure. They are just fine on the other side, but that can be hard to grasp immediately. They are receiving everything they need, depending on their specific circumstances, predicated upon their most recent Earth incarnation experience.

No one who transitions is ever alone. Ever! The person has all the assistance they need on the other side. Reference the following:

“As death approaches, relatives or friends who have gone on before gather around the dying person to assist in the imminent transition from the physical to the nonphysical state. Frequently the dying can see them already, for at the time of imminent death the bonds between conscious and unconscious are very loose. Dr. Karlis Osis of the American Society of Physical Research did some valuable studies on bedside observations of the dying in various hospitals. In these reports, mention is made frequently of the alleged presence in the hospital room of a long-dead relative or friend whom only the dying person can see or hear. In the past, such phenomena have been brushed aside as “hallucinations of the dying”, implying that all patients in their terminal stage are mentally incompetent and therefore their testimony is not to be taken at face value.” “Life Beyond.” Holzer, Hans., p. 136-137

Letting Go

You are here for your soul’s purpose and for a higher spiritual reason and lesson. Release the deceased person! Let them go on for their soul’s purpose.

Hold the warm and loving memories of the person in your heart and go on about your life’s business, never losing sight of that love.

In conclusion, death is not the end of life. Please reference the following:

“When we are alive, we define ourselves by what we can see, hear, or touch. We are tissue, bone, and matter. When people die and we can no longer connect with them through our senses, we cannot help but to think that they no longer exist. This is not true. As Albert Einstein proved decades ago, everything is made of energy. Energy cannot be destroyed; it can only change form. You cannot ‘not’ exist, you can only transform. Death cannot end your life, it can only enhance who and what you are.” – Cyndi Dale

Q: I read that illness is a spirit/soul problem that then manifests in the body? How does one heal his/her soul/spirit?

    A:

THIS IS VERY TRUE IN MANY RESPECTS! I'D HAVE TO WRITE A BOOK TO REALLY BREAK IT ALL DOWN OR EXPLAIN IT.

Q: I was most impressed by your website. The information to support your products and your obvious interest in informing the public caught and kept my attention. As I searched further into Black Seed Tea, the reason for my visit, I noticed your product ALCOHOL BUSTER. The comment of "on the metaphysical level, alcohol consumption also impairs the human aura" although very non clinical, is very much my way of thinking, it got my attention. I read as far as the disclaimer, "the formula does not have the power to prevent consumption of alcohol as only will power and a made up mind can do this." Here's where I step out of character and find myself writing this e-mail. It has been my experience while working with people from all walks of life, who are members of any 12 step program, that a reference to will power as a prevention of anything is a two edged sword. While I agree will power is important in abstention, I believe the person is benefited by using their personal will power to seek help, to commit to recovery, to take care of the physical, mental and emotional bodies. I don't believe "human" will power is the power that prevents consumption. The suggestion that "will power and a made up mind can prevent consumption of alcohol" to a person with an addiction could become a deadly idea. This of course is my opinion, do with it what you feel is appropriate.

    A:

I feel you in where you're coming from, but I truly believe and know human willpower plays a role in prevention and healing of all disease. The strongest thing humans have is a will. Will meshes with desire in many cases. Both are strong in humans. Now, you're dealing with a person with addiction in regards to your last statement and I can totally understand where you are coming from but the sick person is not exempt from any laws of healing. There is no real or true healing absent willpower to do a thing, a beneficial thing. The addicted person must be first dealt with on the physical and psychological levels and then the spiritual and energetic (getting to the root of the addiction: perhaps a 2nd chakra problem or something hanging over from a past life). All addiction points to spiritual void and therefore the only ultimate healing here is mental or spiritual via mental. As you know, it's mind-body-spirit and all must be dealt with for healing. Will is important in abstention but we don't won't people to focus on abstaining which is usually converted into "can't have" by the addicted person. We want people to only focus on the good, the healthy, what they need and require, not what they don't want or can't have because their subconscious mind will create the situations and circumstances by which these people end up consuming the thing that is insalubrious for them. It never fails. I grew up with an alcoholic mother and plenty of other alcoholics. We want people to have and use willpower to GO FOR the best things for them, will in DOING the right and healthy things for themselves. All healing is ultimately within self. As a man thicket so is he! Peace be unto you fellow metaphysician!

Q: Hello... I apologize for the length of this because I understand how precious your time is. About 2 weeks ago I had a one-night stand. We used a flavored condom. A few days after I began to have some vaginal itching, which I disregarded as yeast infection I took some black walnut hulls but that did and the itching subsided it a bit. I decided to buy some vagisil (I know its toxic but the itching was unbearable and I wanted immediate relief so badly.) Later on that day my clitoris began to burn but I thought it was from the vagisil. Fast-forward 2 days I looked at my vagina in a mirror and noticed there was a small scab on clitoris. Immediately thought I had herpes. I read your article on herpes and thought I needed to detox my body immediately I have been living unrighteous and it is time to live righteously! I forgave myself for abusing myself with alcohol and weed and unrighteous sex. I then forgave the person for giving me herpes. I'm grateful I had that encounter because it taught me to become center and grounded. I ordered the full body detox, which I am on currently and thought maybe I should do the anti viral kit & regimen afterwards. However I did not get tested for herpes and I may not even have it. I did not want to get tested because I did not want it on the books that I have herpes. I fully agree and over stand there are no incurable diseases. MY body is in a diseased state and blood is toxic. My question is should I get tested after the anti viral regimen kit if I have never been diagnosed with the disease. And I am also a college student with limited funds and not sure if I should invest in the kit because I do not have any money right now. I'M not having sex again until it is with a soul mate. I do want to take an HIV test to show my soul mate I do not have that disease. (in case he asks) I have never taken one of those before. Will it come back negative after the full body detox? I'm not sure what to do from here. Thank you for time. I truly appreciate your site. If I had not found your site I would not be a vegetarian to day and I would not know how to heal myself. I excited about my new path of living positively!

    A:

I would suggest you read our article "Genital Herpes". Sound likes you learned a serious lesson. Now it's time to heal. I would recommend performing the Anti-Viral kit followed by the Full Body Detox and if you can only order one product, I'd say give the Anti-Viral a try. Please read our free health articles. they will further stimulate thinking.

Q: I WOULD LIKE TO GET THE MALE CLEANSE AND ALSO THE FEMALE CLEANSE. BUT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I GET THE CLEANSE, WOULD I NEED TO DO A DETOX FIRST? I AM LOCATED IN THE CARROLLTON TX. AREA. I HAVE STOPPED EATING MEAT. NOW I AM LEARNING HOW TO EAT IN A DIFFERENT MIND SET. I HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING, AND REASONING THINGS OUT IT HAS BEEN A JOURNEY IN THE VOID. BUT ONE WELL LOOKED UPON.IF YOU EVER COME TO THE DALLAS AREA SOMTIME I WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IN PERSON MAYBE AT A LECTURE OR CLASS. ALSO IS THERE A NUMBER THAT PERSON MAY CALL?

    A:

It is not necessary that you do a detox, such as the Full Body Cleanse, before the Male or Female Cleanse. However, performing the Full Body Cleanse prior will optimize your body and maximize your benefits for the Male and/or Female Cleanse.

Q: I am listening to you on Rainbow soul talking about cellulite and stretch marks and it sounds as if you have just given up on the black female race like there is no help for big women.

    A:

Dherbs.com: I haven't given up on big Black women at all. The fact is that most big Black women BLACK discipline and will not do what is necessary. The simple fact that they blew up in the first place says a lot (i.e. poor self-esteem, low self-image, unhappiness, undisciplined, etc.)

That is another story though cause I'm not big AT ALL!! but I am a black female.

Dherbs.com: I'm writing an article soon on Black women and obesity: causes/origins, dangers, and solutions. Now does this sound like I have given up????

ANYWAY - my question to you is - Since January 8, 2007 I stopped eating meat and I saw a tremendous result in my complaint areas.

    Dherbs.com: Good for you!

Now I'm pregnant and read that protein develops the babies brain so I started eating meat until I have the baby.

Dherbs.com: LORD HAVE MERCY!!!! I greatly disagree with this, but it's your choice. I have 3 vegan-vegetarian children. Their mothers didn't eat meat during their pregnancies. You don't have to worry about the development of your baby's brain. The body intelligence has that covered. Meat is not protein unless you eat it raw (but the WHOLE animal must be eaten)!!!

Is it safe to drink protein shakes to replace the protein instead of eating meat?

Dherbs.com: You can't get bio-protein from protein shakes. Protein shakes are made from waste products (i.e. radiated soy, whey, etc.). If you really want natural proteon, check out our Bio-Protein we sell. It's 100% all-natural. But remember, protein is in every natural food you eat. How do herbivore animals in the wild get their protein since they don't eat meat???

Meat for protein is a great conspiracy and propaganda tactic. Read Dherbs articles "PROTEIN PROPAGANDA" and "THE DANGERS OF EATING MEAT."

Regardless of how you view me, thank you for your interest in Dherbs.Com!

Q: I know you are an herbalist and I have read your articles on relationships, but I really need to discuss an issue with a conscious person like yourself. I have a friend who is a conscious brother, he made it known that he doesn't want to be in a relationship, claims he's to busy, but he is into having a spiritual sexual relationship(releasing energy he says on a spiritual level). My thought is that in order to connect with someone totally on a sexual level they should be a unit to experience this sacred sexual experience he refers to, otherwise to me it seems a very clever why to have sex without the commitment of being in a relationship. I would really appreciate your thoughts.

    A:

Dudes can be so clever! He sounds like a Taurus! LOL!

He's using spirituality to justify having sex with you. There's no spirituality with a casual sex partner. This practice is deep and creates serious energetic connections via the chakras. There's no connection without being a unit and having a commitment. My motto is: no sex absent love and commitment (unless both parties agree)! Hope this helps you out!

Q: I have had gastric sleeve surgery and I have hit a wall with my weight loss due to a number of physical challenges and overall eating poorly (I am an emotional eater and have been very depressed due to my physical challenges). I am required to have between 80 and 100 grams of protein daily as a result of my surgery. Would you recommend the full body cleanse for someone like me? If so, would there be any modifications that you would recommend?

A: The cleanse is still okay for you to do. Some people experience difficulties digesting capsules after having the procedure. If this applies to you we recommend doing the Liquid Version of the Full Body Cleanse. The capsules are always more potent however. You do have the option of emptying the contents of the capsules into freshly squeezed juices, smoothies or herbal teas. http://dherbs.com/store/liquid-full-body-cleanse-p-560.html

Q: I am writing in hopes of some spiritual guidance, and direction for a very close friend. My friend has been clinically diagnosed with bipolar disorder, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and obsessive compulsive disorder. He also battles with, suicidal thoughts, and evil spirits. He lives a pretty normal life to outsiders, but internally he is extremely unstable. He is a very spiritual person, but there are many demons attached to his spirit, and he is trying hard to fight them off. Unfortunately he is coping in all the wrong ways. He is trying to manage, and maintain with these diseases, which is only causing him to sink into a greater depression. What do you recommend?

Q: I am a 50 year old male, 5'10" 190lbs, and in excellent physical condition. I want to detox but I am concerned about the weight loss...I don't want to lose any weight. Is it possible to do the Full Body Cleanse and lose only a minimal amount of weight? Also, I am a physical training and self-defense instructor at a police academy. How will the Full Body Cleanse affect my energy level?

    A:

Go to our site and read the article "I'm Thin -- Will I Lose Weight Performing the FBD?"  In fact, cleansing can greatly improve energy levels! We can't harm ourselves by doing what the body requires. Your body will only lose weight if it needs to.

Q: I read your article on Dangerous Dairy, and I cannot find on the internet any back up on what is discussed about dairy. Example, fecal matter (like milk), if this is not real fecal matter. What are you talking about? It is also stated that no other animals will drink other animals milk. This is not so, there are reports of baby animals, that lose their mothers and another species steps in to save the baby animals life. A dog saving a baby tigers life. A squirrel saving a pigs life, etc. It is a known fact that we have been eating dairy products for over 8,0000 years. I know that times have changed, but where are your facts were are you getting these facts to report such cause and effect? I would like to see this facts or websites. Thank you.

Q: Dear Yogi, I read an article on your site about reverse Kundalini (anal sex). I don't know if you can answer my question or not - originally I was going to pose it to "Ask the Guru", but in my limited understanding, Kundalini is tied into yoga. I have been trying to get balanced by meditating, living my passions, writing, art, and belly dancing all unprofessionally, except for the first one (on a very small scale). I have been doing guided chakra meditations and other things, including yoga, and some dietary modifications. I feel I am gradually growing and living my purpose. However, incrementally starting in my mid forties. Anyway, I have been on this path for a couple of years now, and have more happiness and peace than I ever have. I don't want to get into a lengthy essay about my limited understanding of Kundalini, and the possibility of what I perceive is going on with my body (though I am very healthy) right now, so I will attempt to get to the point. I am grateful for my life. I have much more than many people if I were to measure. I feel like I am still blocked, though. About three years ago I dated a guy who sodomized me one time. He was a rapist, long story short and an error in judgement on my part. Though my intuition was screaming at me the whole time. I look at the experience as pushing me further along my path and teaching me to trust, love, respect myself, and defend my boundaries. What concerns me is that I feel that experience is still trapped within me to a degree, and I am worried that it will manifest into a disease. Often when I meditate on my root chakra I start crying. Part of me believes that I can't force anything, just have to let the process unfold in its own time. There is so much info out there that I find it overwhelming, and it is hard to know which to trust. So I have just been going with what resonates with me as far as technique. If you could offer me any advice, I would be grateful.

    A:

Hello, I would like to first thank you for sharing your story and your experience. It sounds like you are devoting time and attention to the many things, that will help foster a sustained health and healing for you in life. As you have recognized, it is very helpful for us to take intuition very seriously and to honor this innate ability to discern whether a situation will be harmful or beneficial to our growth and experience as humans. Very often the circumstances and challenges presented to us in life, as happened in yours, serve as great teachers in allowing us to witness our own great strength, compassion, and value. I am glad to hear that you have been able to take the very difficult situation you found yourself in and use your experience to create a better understanding of yourself in the process. While it is true that we tend to develop patterns of holding and habitual ways of holding tension within the body; this does not mean that there are not steps you can take to move through such a body, mind, and spirit experience. The fact that you are crying upon meditating on your root chakra is a sign that you have made yourself available to the grief that naturally accompanies traumatic situations such as the one you experienced. Keep in mind that when we deeply grieve, our bodies are able to express the energy that may have potentially been repressed during this experience. The energy of the root chakra is all about our ability to feel safe, strong, and supported. The violation of this energy can leave one feeling ungrounded and striving for our self-preservation. Try not to become fixated on the worries you are having about the experience arising as disease in your body, as worrying can lead to increased levels of chronic stress, which will potentially create an internal environment more vulnerable to disease - which is what you are trying to avoid. It might be nice for you to meditate on your right to be here, to exist on this planet, and to be valued. It may also be very nice for you to take some restorative yoga classes, which can be grounding and stimulating to the parasympathetic nervous system (assists in the healing process). Recognize that the body may be holding energy in a direct response to a real threat, but begin to create a safe, loving and supportive environment to allow yourself to begin to be able to let go of this holding as you feel safe. When working to heal the first chakra, it is helpful to get in touch with the direct experience of the sensations of the body and become aware of the physical experience of the body. This can be done with the assistance of an expert, to help you change the physical expression of your felt experience. We could also do something called "body dialogue" to put you more deeply in touch with what the physical expression you are experiencing has to teach you about how you are inhabiting the world you are in. There are also many forms of grounding exercises which can help to balance the first chakra. If you are interested in being lead through a series of guided meditations, please contact me at megan@ritualwellbeing.com. Namaste, Megan

Q: Thank you once again for your advice and your article on love. I was in so much pain when I emailed you all I could think of was that maybe death would give me peace. As your articles say, heartache, the broken light cord, hurts something terrible in the most literal sense. Your articles give me so much comfort and peace, you are truly blessed. I read everything is Okay as often as I can to remind me to go with the flow of life. Since your first email I have started working with Rose quartz, Rhodocrosite, and Adventurine. I've started practicing Qi Gong and this is helping to put me in tune with who I really am, divine. I cannot say it has been all peaches and cream, the journey up has been bumpy- I have to read and re-read, make the conscious decisions to let go of old patterns. Thank you for your love. Thank you for taking the time to reach back out to a stranger when you did not have to. I am on your site now ready to make my second purchase. There are two 4th Charka elixirs for sale, which one should I purchase? The abundance elixir- is this meant to bring abundance or change my thinking on abundance? I apologize if this question sounds ignorant but I'm slightly confused. One last thing Dherbs.com, you speak of a Three in One modality and advise your reader to get one. What is this and how can I get one? Also, how can I schedule a Charka Consult with you? I know this is a great deal of questions and comments, thank you so much, so very much, for your time.

    A:

Thank you so much for your e-mail, beloved! Much obliged! Glad to hear Dherbs is helping you on your wonderful journey. Death is never the answer, Beloved. Please read my new article on â€SUICIDEâ€, which explains why (if you haven't already). In re: Charka elixirs I would suggest the FOURTH CHAKRA #2 the one for the Heart as compared to "healing." My friend Julie no longer offers the 3-in-1 sessions, which were so beneficial. However, we still offer charka balancing and can do a reading by phone ($55) if you're interested.

Q: I have been experiencing very trying health issues for many years (over 25 years). The trouble began when my gall bladder was removed 26 years ago. I had mood swings, lack of energy, and severe diarrhea. Approximately 13 years ago I had an additional surgery for an umbilical hernia. Due to pre-op tests, my physician diagnosed me with thyroid disease and placed me on synthroid. This medication dramatically improved the digestive issues I had experienced for many years. I had very loose bowels when menstruating and when I was ill. I am overweight and have dealt with weight issues all my life. Three years ago I had a scare where I thought I experienced a heart attack. I spent three days in the hospital and learned of many health risks. My triglycerides were extremely high along with my sugar being borderline. I have been tested for diabetes on a number of occasions in my life but never show to be. There are numerous cases of diabetes in my family. My mother and one sister are insulin dependent and one other sister is on some form of pill medication for diabetes. At that time, I gave up sugar and began a regime at the gym. The have not eaten any sweets other than what I get in a little ketchup occasionally or some other kind of sauce that may contain some sugar. I have gone to the gym with minimal results in losing weight. I had a total hysterectomy six weeks ago. My regular GP has been on vacation and I've been dealing with one of her associates. This dr. sent me in for glucose tolerance and she has since diagnosed me as Type II Diabetic. She put me on a medication called "Metformin" and has me taking a 500 mg pill twice daily. I have only been on this medication for three days. I have been very careful to eat only what they say I can. I am experiencing the same issues as before with the diarrhea. Last night I was up all night with this and it is like water coming out of me. I am unable to find a physician who understands that I want to lose the weight, but cannot when I'm constantly dehydrated and feeling lethargic. When I have this constant problem, I am not able to do what I need to do for my overall health. Sorry to be so wordy but I wanted to explain the full extent of what I am experiencing. My friend told me to get on this website and explain my issues. He feels that you may be able to guide me in the direction of a natural product or products that can help me to have normal bowel movements and therefore begin doing the physical exercise that is needed for me to reduce my chances of becoming an insulin dependent diabetic.

Q: I'm a bit confused, about how the extracts work, versus doing the physical work, to work on one situation(s). Specifically the anti-hate, anti-anger extracts. These don't take the place of a therapist, or counselor? I have some severe issues with hate anger, and bitterness. I know it's keeping me from enjoying the life that God has for me. I revel by saying "I'm not going to spend the next 20 years going to a therapist". So, I guess in short, I'm trying to find a quick-fix to getting through the pain, so that I can finally keep my head above the water.

    A:

By no means, do or should these elixirs take the place of a qualified therapist, or some other helpful assistant, worldly, spiritual or otherwise. These elixirs are just agents and should be taken in addition to other things, consulting, spiritual healing, meditation, chakra balancing, and reading positive material.

Q: Hi. I am working to improve my life both spiritually and physically. I believe that once my life spiritually is in order all else will follow - abundant health, prosperity, joy, etc. I know that I have a lot of deep emotional scars, some known and unknown that need to be uprooted and diffused. I am currently going through the Sedona Method home course and want to know what else I can do to aid in my permanent emotional releasing process?

    A:

I think you will benefit from a spiritual consultation, Beloved. Please consider scheduling a consultation so we may interact one-on-one and not via a general e-mail. I am more effective via discovering your vibrational diagnosis. Thank you for your interest in Dherbs.com. Please read some of our free articles too - the ones that resonate with you!

Q: I believe I have the herpes virus. I have so many outbreaks that my life is becoming unbearable. I have an almost nonexistent sex life. My husband complains a lot and this is very frustrating. I don't think that my husband really believes that I'm itching as well as hurting most of the time. Doctors say there is no cure but I don't believe that. I don't want to go on medication for the rest of my life. Is there anything natural I can take to help?

    A:

THERE IS HELP FOR YOU, BELOVED. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR AND READ OUR "GENITAL HERPES" ARTICLE. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW (CAUSES, PREVENTION, AND HEALING) IS IN THAT ARTICLE. PLEASE READ IT AS HEALING BEGINS WITH KNOWLEDGE!

Q: I have these moments in my life where everything with an electrical current that I'm around breaks down. I had this friend who brought me some information that said it has something do with my sign (Pisces March 15th) and the sun, moon & stars & energy through me. I think it's a 2 week long phenomenon that happens every year. Do you know anything about it? I'd like to know when it's over. I can't afford all the repair costs!

    A:

IT'S ASTROLOGICAL NO DOUBT; AND BEING A PISCES, THIS SOUNDS RIGHT AS PISCES CORRELATES AND CORRESPONDS TO THE 12 HOUSE OF "TROUBLE." A CHART WOULD HAVE TO BE PERFORMED ON YOU, BELOVED!
