Healthy Food Swaps That Are Easier to Make Than You Think

0-511372582-fotolia-81912327-subscription-monthly-m

Anyone looking to eat healthier might feel overwhelmed at the things they’ll be giving up: many processed foods, fast foods, and even animal products top the list of most people looking to improve their health all by what they put on their forks (and spoons!) each day. But swapping out foods for healthier choices is much easier than we make it out to be. In fact, instead of choosing processed substitutes of our favorite things (such as sugar-free candies for regular candy or diet soda for regular soda), it’s much better just to stick to the basics.

While many foods out there are lower in calories and some even calorie-free, the key to eating healthier isn’t to (always) reduce the calories in your diet, but to instead focus on higher-quality calories that the body can use more efficiently for fuel. Looking at your health this way is the most beneficial way to making a lifestyle change instead of seeing food as just a way to diet or gain weight.

So next time you visit the store, consider making some of these top food swaps that will improve your health (and weight if that’s a concern) in no time!

1. Choose Fruit Instead of Fruit Juice

Fruit juice is often marketed as healthy, but it’s really just unnecessary sugar in disguise. Even if some juices have fiber added to them, these aren’t the fibers found in natural foods and normally come from synthetic or harder to digest sources (such as inulin that can cause bloating). Always go for real fruit instead of fruit juice; it will digest more slowly and won’t disrupt your blood sugar levels as a result. Real fruit can also help you manage your weight since it’s richer in fiber and vitamins and minerals, while drinking fruit juice may actually lead to weight gain and contribute to high blood sugar.

2. Choose Whole Grains (or Nuts and Seeds) Over Cereals and Granola

Most store-bought cereals and granola options are packed with added sugars and some also have oils, GMO’s, or cheap fillers from corn. You’re much better off choosing a whole grain you cook at home (like oats, quinoa, or brown rice), or even making a quick granola with oats, almonds, chia, and hemp seeds instead. Or, go grain-free and mix up some nuts and seeds with coconut, pour a little non-dairy milk over the top, add some fruit and enjoy a grain-free granola. The less processed your cereals and granola options, the better. Plus, choosing whole sources of fat, such as nuts and seeds, instead of consuming processed oils is also much healthier for your heart.

3. Choose Almond Milk and Stevia in Your Coffee Instead of Cream and Sugar

Choosing almond milk and stevia in your coffee is a much healthier approach to your morning cuppa versus cream and sugar. The combination of fat from the cream and sugars from well, the sugar, is enough to send your insulin skyrocketing and is detrimental to achieving a healthy weight. Choose an unsweetened vanilla almond milk and alcohol-free liquid stevia instead. Or, just drink yours black and keep things really simple!

4. Choose Vegetables and Greens Over Frozen Meals Made With Them

Frozen meals may boast many health claims, but most all frozen meals are packed with excess sodium and ingredients you don’t need. Instead of buying a frozen dish made with vegetables, choose whole vegetables instead. Leafy greens are fine to buy frozen (as are regular vegetables), but there’s no need to get them through a frozen pasta meal made with spinach or kale. Just choose regular frozen spinach or kale and make your own batch of pasta instead. The less preservatives included with your veggies, the better they are for you!

5. Choose Unsweetened Yogurts Over Regular Yogurts

Many non-dairy yogurts on the market are incredibly delicious, but sadly, most of them are still packed with added sugars. Some have more sugar in a small container than a candy bar, which is a little absurd when you think about it. Choose unsweetened versions and either stir in some fresh fruit or stevia instead. Added sugars have been linked to Type 2 diabetes and weight gain; they do your body no favors and only contribute empty calories.

6. Choose Sweet Potatoes Over Sweet Potato Fries

Sweet potato fries are all the rage, but don’t pay $3-$4 a bag for the frozen ones that are coated with corn-based fillers, refined or processed flours, added salts, sugars and preservatives. No matter how natural a brand may appear, most people would be surprised to see just how many ingredients these “healthy” fries have. Keep things simple and make your own: Chop up a whole sweet potato on a baking pan, sprinkle on your favorite seasonings (Mrs. Dash is a great MSG-free and salt-free flavorful choice), and bake in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes. Easy!

7. Choose Plain Nut Butters Over Highly Processed Brands

Jif, Skippy, and most other well-known commercial nut butters have come out with just about every kind of “healthy” nut butter option you can imagine, but those brands aren’t just deceiving to the eye (along with many others that advertise themselves as healthy). Processed nut butters are also just generally not necessary. Choose naturally ground, plain nut butters instead. These actually have much more flavor than you’d imagine and taste great! Many even now come in easy-to-spread versions, so you don’t have to stir the oil from the top into the nut butter each time. See some great tips for purchasing the best nut butters at the store here!

8. Choose Plant-Based Burgers Instead of Meat-Based Burgers

Red meat has consistently been linked to cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. Even if you’re not 100 percent plant-based, eliminating meat from your diet is a smart choice to make. So next time you have a burger craving, try a natural plant-based burger instead. No need to go for the heavily processed faux meats out there; the plant-based burger industry has come a long way. Many brands are now made with 100 percent whole foods, or you can just make your own. Plant-based burgers have more fiber, are so flavorful, and can be used just like regular burgers.

9. Choose Non-Dairy Milk Instead of Cow’s Milk

Everyone can make this change and it’s so much easier than you think. It’s almost bewildering to visit the store and see more plant-based milk options than cow’s milk options. Wahoo! This is a great thing plant-based eaters! Try your best to choose the unsweetened non-dairy milks over the sweetened options when possible to eliminate drinking your calories from sugar; the unsweetened vanilla milks out there are delicious! Why not cow’s milk? No other dairy product has been linked to as many cancer risks or hormone troubles as cow’s milk. If you’re new to the whole dairy-free idea, start by at least giving up cow’s milk for a plant-based option. Doing so can reduce your risk from cancer, excess hormones, and excess sugar from the lactose in milk (about 12 grams per cup). See how to choose the best non-dairy milks here if you need some pointers.

These are just nine examples of easy food swaps you can make to eat healthier and make a great starting point for newbies wanting to eat healthy, or anyone looking to revamp their health goals. Practice reading labels, educate yourself on ingredients in your food, and be a present consumer instead of one that’s duped by the food industry and clever marketing.

Remember to vote with your dollars … your health and our food system depend on it!

Q: What Are Some Natural Sweet Treats (Junk Foods) I can Consume? Under free will you can consume what you like, but healthier products are best. You will find plenty of "healthier" snack, treat, and junk foods at good health food stores such as Whole Foods Market, PCC Natural Food Stores, Erewhon, Trader Joes, Natural Grocers, New Frontiers, etc. Just make sure to abstain from salt, sugar, and other harmful chemicals in the products you buy. Q: I see also that you recommend a complete diet with these programs. I am guessing its a vegan diet right? I wanted to ask something on that is coconut milk and coconut oils ok for that? I personally had a very hard time trying to eat that many vegetables and many ph balance vegans seem to think fruits aren?t good either. I eat that many vegetables one it tears me up the next day and two I just cant consume enough calories that way. I can try and make up for it by eating things like almonds but I eat to many almonds I get the same problem the next day. Now coconut milk (unsweetened) and a digestive enzyme works for me for picking up extra calories.... but I hear very conflicting information about coconut and its saturated fat content. Is it ok to use daily as a part of the diet for cleansing? And your oxy-drops are those the same as the drop for ph balancing water?? Or is it something different? I am wanting to start lifting weights as I need to put on some muscle and I?m wondering if its something that would be beneficial in combating muscle soreness by increased oxygen in the body.

    A:

The diet we recommend is vegan-based, and RAW FOODS. Fresh fruits, vegetables, raw nuts and seeds are ideal.

Coconut Milk and Coconut Oil are excellent products to have in your diet. The healthy fats will keep you fuller.

Oxy-Drops can help balance your electrolytes that need to be replenished after a workout in order to keep your body performing efficiently.

Q: I have ordered the detox cleanse, and the weight cleanse. Both state to eat a raw diet of veggies and fruit, nuts, nut pastes??, legume sprouts, seeds, plant oils, sea veggies??,and fresh juices. It mentions Vegan Diet. What are my options when it comes to these choices? What do I eat and how often to keep my sugar from dropping, and feeling sick? Usually mid am, and mid afternoon?

    A:

The best way to balance blood sugar and keep your body in a fat burning zone is to eat low fat and every 3-4 hours. Also high raw and high carb. Here are some options. Just a general outline.

Q: I just completed the Full Body Cleanse about two weeks ago and started the Pancreas Formula for my pancreas... I don?t have the money for the full kit but after the Full Body Cleanse I?ve notice my blood averaging +-200.....it had reached a low of 124 during detox. I bought cromium and have used it since the onset of detox at about 1200 mcg per day! My Pancreas is a piece of crap!!!!! I haven?t had ANY thing with added sugar or artificial, just green tea with stevia to sweeten it. NO Treats! The only regular food I get now is like lean cuisine type once or twice a day with fresh vegetables or fresh made Veg juice....I had went from 327lbs to 289lbs during detox but since I?ve went back up settling at about 296 and stable. I have cut everything I love out of my life! No Sugar, No Milk Products. About 6 ounces of meat A WEEK eat mostly live vegetables yet I see a Pancreas that needs to be punished for ruining my life!!!!! I try to help it and this is what it does for me! I don?t know what to do next.

    A:

If you can't afford the full kit or kits, order and drink some of our Herbal Teas to help maintain the pancreas in its normal healthy secretion. Cinnamon Tea can also provide additional benefits.

We also recommend a daily pancreas regimen of: Pancreas Aid, Pancreas Formula, and Sugar Control.

Your vegetable juice should consist of GREEN BEAN (Snap pea) and/or BRUSSEL SPROUTS, to help maintain pancreatic health.

Q: I've made a lifestyle change about 8 months ago. I excluded all dairy, wheat, grains, gluten, legumes, sugar, oils (except olive oil). I still eat minimum amount of meat (chicken, fish) maybe 2 -3 times/wk. I'm slowly trying to eliminate meat totally as I only use to make my meals more filling. My plan is to do Ozone Therapy midway through the detox program, which also rid the body of toxins.

    A:

    Ozone therapy is beneficial!

Q: I just purchased the Pancreas Kit for children, for my 4 year old who was diagnosed with type one diabetes. I have been feeding her a raw diet of just vegetables. The diet includes no dairy, no grains, and fruit for a week. I also started the Pancreas kit last week too. I was wondering if there is any reason why her blood sugar levels would go up? All she is eating is veggies, and her sugar levels are at 300 most of the time. Even if she doesn't eat anything, it still goes up to 300. I also know it says you cannot tell us not to give, or not to give her insulin, or not. I am still currently giving it to her. Does the pancreas kit work just as well if the are receiving insulin or not? Or does it hinder the process?. I would really appreciate other advise you would offer. Thanks so much!

    A:

Drugs and herbs don't mix! They cancel each other out. The blood sugar will go up and down due to the body attempting to regulate, and normalize the blood sugar levels. Perfectly normal! It's called "healing crisis. Whatever you guys choose to do, simply keep monitoring the person. Ask the person how he/she feels (very important).

Q: Members of my house have started drinking Hemp Milk and Rice Milk. No more Cow Milk! We like the taste of both. I also like the fact that the hemp milk has omega and other nutrients in it. However, my son is three years old and we have discovered he is allergic to nuts because a family member gave him a cashew to eat, then his eyes began to swell up like Garfield the cat. I had him tested for food allergies and the test revealed he is allergic to nuts and soy. So I don't give him any nut products or soy products. My question for you is: "Is hemp a nut or a seed, is the hemp milk derived from a nut or a seed???" I need to know other alternatives if in fact it is a nut. I do not want to give him something toxic to him.

    A:

Hemp is a seed, not a nut, so hemp seed milk is okay for him.

    Nuts cashews - peanuts, soy

    Grains - rice, oats

Fruit - almond, coconut, banana, date

Q: My question is regarding fibroids. I have been told I have had fibroids about the size of someone 3 months pregnant. I have been told there are two in clusters. They gave me the diameters, but I don't have that information at this time. My OB/GYN has told me he believes it is causing me to be slightly anemic. I have been trying some remedies on my own like more exercise and a change in diet. My primary physician does not recommend surgery she has me taking iron ferrous sulfate supplements twice per day to help with my iron count. It seems to be helping. The only problem I have with taking the iron supplements is that it sometimes causes constipation and I am normally pretty regular. I usually eliminate 2 times per day sometimes 3. My OB/GYN on the other hand keeps pushing for me to having surgery.& amp; nbsp; They had me take BC pills, however I took myself off of them because they made me sick. I took them only for 6 months. I'm 45 and have never taken BC pills ever and I don't want to start now. I've never been pregnant. I flow heavy on my 2nd and 3rd day heavy and after that it is manageable. My cycle has improved however I want to reduce the flow on those days if possible and of course dissolve the fibroid if at all possible. Doctors tell me they won't go away unless removed. I used to be on my cycle for 7 days and 4 of those days were heavy. Now I'm normally on for 4 days and only the 2nd and 3rd day are heavy. I know that as I reach menopause they may shrink in size, however I'm still aways off from that. I eat no red meat however I do eat fish and poultry. I eat a pretty good balance of vegetables and fruits, mostly raw and steamed. I drink lactaid milk. I don't eat much dairy except cheese and eggs occasionally. I do have a weakness, I love potato chips. I know this is not good. I can feel the fibroid get bigger when I eat them. When I stop for a period of time it decreases in size. At least I feel like it does. I'm not a sugar craver, however during the week before my cycle I'll crave sweets. I usually resist. I feel it's my diet that has caused the fibroids as well as every female in my family has had a hysterectomy due to fibroids. I think it is also hereditary as well. Whatever the case I'd like to know what regimen can you put me on that will help me? The goal is to reduce or dissolve the size of the fibroid so it is not affecting my iron level. I'm also starting to see my abdomen get bigger when I've always had a flat stomach. Perhaps this is me just getting older, however I think it's the fibroids. Constant low levels over time can't be good. I hope I have provided you enough information to give me your recommendation. If not please feel free to e-mail me for any additional information you need. I'm looking for a natural cure. Outside of this condition I'm in very good health. No problem with weight, high blood pressure or high cholesterol. I'm pretty athletic and active as well. Please advise. I look forward to your recommendation.

    A:

I remember just recently e-mailing you on this inquiry. Your diet MUST CHANGE! Consider full fledged RAW FOODS and VEGAN diet during your healing transition. Lactaid milk is HORRIBLE for you. Did you read our â€FIBROID TUMORS†article?????? You need to keep on performing FULL BODY DETOX followed by Fibroid Buster kit and regimen, back to back! Continuously! Detoxing must become a lifestyle for you! For iron, consider Dherbs.Com IRON PHOSPHATE FORMULA and MOON CYCLE FORMULA. Also, consider a telephone consultation because time is greatly limited in writing back in response to inquiries. There is much healing for you, Beloved!

Also, how much per month will these products cost and how many months do the kits last? How do you recommend I buy them? By kit or individual? Thank you for your time!

    A:

I recommend you perform the FULL BODY DETOX kit followed by the FIBRIOD BUSTER CLEANSE AND REGIME. Perform them back to back. Take a break for about a month and perform both of them again. Six weeks on and six weeks off. While your off of these 2 kits, take individual formulas of IRON PHOSPHATE FORMULA, FIBRIOD BUSTER, and MOON CYCLE FORMULA. In re iron, you are taking POISON! The kind of iron you are taking is poisonous and mixes with sulfur in your body which creates constipation. I suggest Dherbs IRON PHOSPHATE FORMULA which is 100% all-natural with absolutely no adverse side effects! Also, you have to improve your diet. Nothing greatly causes fibroids than DAIRY PRODUCTS! The meat, potato chips, dairy, etc. is filling up your trashbags (tumors). Go VEGAN and RAW FOODS! Start reading some of our free health articles, i.e. â€FIBROID TUMORSâ€, â€WHAT IS RAW FOODSâ€, etc. Dherbs products can greatly help you and you'll see and/or feel the difference (as long as you don't cheat on your diet). There is much help for you!

Q: Thanks for all of the information which is very beneficial I must say. My question to you is what's the best type of aloe vera juice to drink? Also I have heard that the gel from the plant can be mixed into a smoothie, is that true? Greetings! As far as the best brand I really wouldn't know as there are a few good brands on the market. Just make sure your aloe vera juice is at 99% pure and with no additives. Aloe gel can be added to a fruit smoothie though

    A:

I personally wouldn't add it to a fruit smoothie.

Q: I am on my 3rd day of the fully body cleansing. I am definitely doing this to lose weight. I am a 52 year old, black, Christian, wife, mother to 21 and 14 year old girls, legal secretary who is 450 lbs. I am to the point now where if I don't do this I'm going to be housebound. I can barely move some days that is why I started this because I feel so unhealthy. I have a question about the nuts. I got all gun-ho and ordered $135.00 worth of organic nuts from nuts.com. I got raisins, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, walnuts, pecans, pistachios and cashews and mixed them all up together (well I purchased 2 lbs of each but I only mixed up 1 lb of each together). Anyway, I was reading about how much calories are in nuts. Should I not pay attention to that because I was consuming a lot of calories in the first place or do I have to watch how many nuts I eat? I have put some nuts in a sandwich bags and basically filled it up and that is supposed to be my nuts ration for the day. I am also eating fruits and vegetables. So far the fruit have been grapes, grapefruit, red apples, pears, green apples and bananas. The vegetables have all been in a salad: tomatoes, celery spinach leaves, carrots, mixed in balsamic vinaigrette. I only ate the salad Monday night all the other times I have just eaten the fruit and nuts. I am also consuming approximately 75-100 oz of water. Sorry I’m long winded I just wanted you to get the entire picture.

    A:

Thanks for the question, I can definitely help you.

I am currently writing an eBook for www.dherbs.com called "Losing weight the healthy way." I have been a weight loss counselor for many years. I am also a health coach, personal trainer, bodymind nutritionist, and a vegan lifestyle coach.

When it comes to weight loss most programs want you to lose weight to get healthy. My mindset is to get healthy and lose weight.

In my health/fitness/nutrition coaching program www.theveganeffect.com I use a lowfat/high carb/ high raw/ nutrient dense/ high alkaline diet to achieve long term weight loss success. So far I am 100 percent in getting clients long lasting weight loss. If you are interested in my program please fill out the health history form on the side of the web page. We could have a free 1 hour initial consultation over skype to see how I can best help you.

Nuts are best kept to a minimum if you use them at all. Nuts are extremely high in fat and have the opposite omega 3- omega 6 ratio that is optimal for health. Seeds are best as far as ratios are concerned. Also nuts are truly easy to over eat and cause your nutrient ratios to be off.

A healthy vegan diet is a high raw fruitarian diet.

    Example:

Breakfast: green smoothie. (500-1000 calories of fruits blended with a handful of greens and water)

Bridge: Dates and strawberries (500 calories)

Lunch: Salad with low sugar fruits (cucumber, tomato, squash, bell peppers) topped with fruit, beans, psuedo grains,

    Bridge: 2-3 apples

Dinner: Raw wraps (collard greens) with low sugar fruit and tahini

    Snack: Sorbet

Q: I'm doing the Full Body Cleanse and I have a few questions about it: I get tired of drinking just the distilled water and I'd like to drink the herbal teas, but I don't like it by itself. Would it mess things up to add a pack or two of Splenda to my tea or maybe honey? I can't stand the salads with the olive oil or apple cider vinegar or the lemon juice as dressing and it makes me gag. I have To have some sort of salad dressing. What kind would be suitable? Do I look for sugar-free? Or organic and natural? I found one that is organic and natural, but it has 3 grams of sugar in it. Without eating all my whole grained breads and other fiber, I haven't had much of a bowel movement in 3 days, should I wait a while yet? (I had surgery on my bowels and always had to take fiber tablets and eat lots of grains to get my bowels to move.) I haven't done the enemas yet, (low on money) should I try that? Or should I resume my fiber tablets I normally take? Any type of fiber I could add to my fruit smoothies in the morning? I want to also do the female cleanse. Is it ok to do that immediately after I finish the full body cleanse or should I wait for a little while? Thank you for all your help, I feel much better than I did before and I just started this detox a week ago, lost 10 pounds, too, woohoooooo! Thank you

    A:

    1. Instead of splenda, use agave, stevia, or grade b maple syrup as a sweetener.

    2. In re Salad Dressing, an organic and natural one is great. You can also check our website for salad dressing recipes.

    3. The fiber pills are not part of the cleanse, so we wouldn't advise those. Fruit is you best choice of fiber so look into eating more papaya, mango, figs, etc. And yes, colonics (and enemas) would greatly help you - undoubtedly!

    4. You can do the Female Cleanse right after you finish detoxing. There's no need to wait!

Q: I purchased the children's detox and received it a couple of days ago. After reading the pamphlet that came with it, I was wondering where/what kind of milk can I purchase for my baby while she is on the detox? For example it said almond, soy, rice milk... can I buy the regular boxed almond, soy, rice milk? Or if I am going to use coconut milk, can I use the canned coconut milk?

    A:

Yes, you can use almond, coconut, or any other nut milk. We do not reccomend soy.

Q: Please tell me which products will help my 11 yr old son eliminate or aid in his healing of this horrible disease (Allergic Fungal Sinusitis). He was taking allergy shots once a week for a year. He is allergic to everything...grass, trees; dustmites, soy, wheat, dairy, eggs. He now drinks rice milk and I order food online at ener_g foods such as breads, cookies etc that are made without all the things he is allergic to. I want to boost his immune system to help fight this disease. He is on a strict diet and I would love you input on how to help him.

    A:

Clearly he's toxic! Clean his body out and the problem will go away. Try CHILDREN DETOX (liquid extracts) . Let him drink warm water and lemon juice (from fresh squeezed lemon) every day. Let him drink herbal tea of Mullein leaf and/or Eucalyptus. When he is bathing, drop in 6-8 drops of essential oil of Eucalyptus per bath and add 1 box of sea salt to every bath. Let him soak for 45 minutes or so. He can heal from this problem!

Q: How often should one eat cook food? I'm a vegan, I do not consume any meat, seafood, milk what so ever. I eat water cresses like everyday so as cook food. Like white rice with black bean sauce, spinach, and pasta at time's I'll eat some Chinese fried rice, veggie roll, steamed vegetables, any advice?

    A:

You can eat cooked food as much as you like. However, try to incorporate as many nutrient-dense raw foods, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, raw nuts and seeds, into your diet to make sure you are receiving an adequate amount of nutrients.

Q: I am an underweight but healthy 26 year old female. I would like to maintain my weight and I use organic canned coconut milk in my grain hot cereal. Is canned organic coconut milk acidic? If so, what brands are alkaline?

    A:

Anything canned is going to be acidic. What ever you use for make, let it be raw. Raw coconut milk fresh from the coconut is alkaline.

Q: I am getting ready to go in the field for 3 days with the Military, and there will not be a variety of food to choose from. I started the WEIGHT RELEASE CLEANSE AND REGIMEN on 08-Jul-08. I know that I can still drink the master cleanse in the morning and drinking the tea. My only problem is the food. Will it be okay to eat some of the food and start right back to eating the right food on Monday?

    A:

IT WILL HAVE TO BE ALL RIGHT. DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO STAY ON THE CLEANSE. JUST GET BACK TO THE FOOD REGIMEN AS SOON AS YOU CAN (RETURNING FROM THE FIELD).

Q: My father (age 56 who's between healthy and sick. jogs every morning, but doesn't eat healthy) has pain traveling from knee, back to shoulder, I, myself am very health conscious! but I can't put my finger on this one! His (history) no high blood pressure, non-diabetic, no history of heart attics, stroke etc... but loves to eat sweets.. cakes, cookies, milk, ice cream, etc....I believe this could be a combination of many things, like yeast build up, gas, arteries clogged. Can you help me?

    A:

The best way to find out is have your father (or someone on his behalf) to schedule a health consultation so we can get at the root of the problem. While there could be a host of things causing the problem on the physical level, I'm more interested at getting at the emotional root of the problems. Product-wise, I would have your father start with the FULL BODY DETOX.

Q: I am a 55 year old female. I have an overactive bladder. I am trying to control it myself, without medication. I have not tried herbs. I eat fruits, vegetables, grains and proteins (not beef or pork). I added back more meat proteins 1 1/2 years ago because I was becoming so tired and lacking energy. (I read The Schwartzbein Diet, which helped convince me to add more protein.) I don't eat much sugar, salt (only 500 mg./day) or hardly any processed foods. I drink water and licorice tea, because it makes me feel good. I believe in the power of positive thinking. Can you help me with this?

    A:

The steps you are taking in your diet are a great start. Try going raw, and eliminating grains and meat altogether. You can get enough protein and healthy fats with avocado, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, almonds, brazil nuts, coconut. You can also add Vegan Protein Powder to smoothies.

I also recommend you give our Full Body Cleanse a try to further detoxify your entire body. After detoxing, the ideal formula for you is our Kidneys Bladder-Adrenal formula.
