Sarcoidosis

Sarcoidosis is the development of tiny clumps of inflamed tissue.

It is a degenerative disease that affects the glands, the inner and outer skin, and the lymphatic system. It is most commonly found in the lungs, spleen, liver, eyes, skin, mucous membranes, and salivary glands.

Causes and Risk Factors

The exact cause of sarcoidosis is unknown, however experts believe it may be caused by:
