    Q: I am on my 3rd day of the fully body cleansing. I am definitely doing this to lose weight. I am a 52 year old, black, Christian, wife, mother to 21 and 14 year old girls, legal secretary who is 450 lbs. I am to the point now where if I don't do this I'm going to be housebound. Anyway, I was reading about how much calories are in nuts. Should I not pay attention to that because I was consuming a lot of calories in the first place or do I have to watch how many nuts I eat? I have put some nuts in a sandwich bags and basically filled it up and that is supposed to be my nuts ration for the day. I am also eating fruits and vegetables. So far the fruit have been grapes, grapefruit, red apples, pears, green apples and bananas. The vegetables have all been in a salad: tomatoes, celery spinach leaves, carrots, mixed in balsamic vinaigrette. I only ate the salad Monday night all the other times I have just eaten the fruit and nuts. I am also consuming approximately 75-100 oz of water. Sorry I’m long winded I just wanted you to get the entire picture.

    Nuts are best kept to a minimum if you use them at all. Nuts are extremely high in fat and have the opposite omega 3- omega 6 ratio that is optimal for health. Seeds are best as far as ratios are concerned. Also nuts are truly easy to over eat and cause your nutrient ratios to be off.

     

    A healthy vegan diet is a high raw fruitarian diet. 

    Example:

    Breakfast: green smoothie. (500-1000 calories of fruits blended with a handful of greens and water)

    Bridge: Dates and strawberries (500 calories) 

    Lunch: Salad with low sugar fruits (cucumber, tomato, squash, bell peppers) topped with fruit, beans, psuedo grains, 

    Bridge: 2-3 apples

    Dinner: Raw wraps (collard greens) with low sugar fruit and tahini

    Snack: Sorbet

    Q: I recently purchased your Parasite and Worm Kit and wanted to know what grains were good to eat during or after the cleanse. I eat Bulgur, brown rice, black rice, couscous, gold and brown flax seed and ground provisions i.e. yams, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, turnips and etc. Are these ok to eat during the Parasite and Worm Kit or after?     Stay RAW while removing the parasites! If you stay mostly RAW, then on a few days you can engage yourself in some of the foods you mention below (maybe once a week)! But RAW is best! Apple Cider Vinegar is the BEST vinegar to use!

    Eating small seeds like chia and flax seeds can go through digestion whole and be wasted. Soaking, sprouting, and grinding before consumption increases the likely hood that the small seeds will get digested and their nutrients utilized properly.

    Q: I have a question for you. Do you have or recommend an herbal cellulite cream that can be used as a body wraps to lose inches? There are so many products on the market and no one knows if they truly work or not. Is there an herbal body cream that I could use to shrink the fat cells in my stomach area?     Cellulite doesn't come from a crème so it can't be healed with a crème. Cellulite is the result of diet and lifestyle so you have to make the necessary changes to your diet and lifestyle. Period! You're dealing with the Law of Cause and Effect here. The cause of cellulite is poor eating and lifestyle habits and the effect of poor dieting and lifestyle is disease, i.e. cellulite. I suggest you keep on detoxing! These wraps only work minimally, but it's cutting corners because even after having them performed you are still toxic inside - a walking time bomb!

    Q: I was online searching for some natural treatments for hair growth in Black Men when I came across your article. I must say that I believe it was so on point that I decided not to look any further. I'm 44 years of age and started noticing my hair thinning when about 12 years ago. I was one of those that you wrote about in your article chasing a lifestyle that is no longer an interest to me. I did fall into some bad habits that were not good for my health off and on over the past 15 years or so more off than on. My body type I would describe as athletic. I'm tone, and strong when I exercise regularly. I'm about 150lbs @ 5'11". My diet is mostly vegetables but from time to time I feel I have to eat fish or chicken.     Q: I think this way is easier and faster to have your response. I currently have many skin problems. I first started having body rash and eczema around my lips. When the skin gets dry, it hurts, and I've been trying to moisturize the skin with using all natural Burt's Bees andor Hugo natural lotion, cream or oil.     Q: When I use the OZ OIL my outer skin is very soft and subtle. However deep down in the skin I feel very itchy. I have been assuming this is the effect of the oil doing its job.     If I do say myself, the best way to start a raw food diet is to be coached by me.     Q: I have white spots over 40 percent on my body and some very dry scaly dark spots on parts of my body.     Q: My question is regarding fibroids. I have been told I have had fibroids about the size of someone 3 months pregnant. I have been told there are two in clusters. They gave me the diameters, but I don't have that information at this time. My OB/GYN has told me he believes it is causing me to be slightly anemic. I have been trying some remedies on my own like more exercise and a change in diet. My primary physician does not recommend surgery she has me taking iron ferrous sulfate supplements twice per day to help with my iron count. It seems to be helping. The only problem I have with taking the iron supplements is that it sometimes causes constipation and I am normally pretty regular. I usually eliminate 2 times per day sometimes 3. My OB/GYN on the other hand keeps pushing for me to having surgery.& amp; nbsp; They had me take BC pills, however I took myself off of them because they made me sick. I took them only for 6 months. I'm 45 and have never taken BC pills ever and I don't want to start now. I've never been pregnant. I flow heavy on my 2nd and 3rd day heavy and after that it is manageable. My cycle has improved however I want to reduce the flow on those days if possible and of course dissolve the fibroid if at all possible. Doctors tell me they won't go away unless removed. I used to be on my cycle for 7 days and 4 of those days were heavy. Now I'm normally on for 4 days and only the 2nd and 3rd day are heavy. I know that as I reach menopause they may shrink in size, however I'm still aways off from that. I eat no red meat however I do eat fish and poultry. I eat a pretty good balance of vegetables and fruits, mostly raw and steamed. I drink lactaid milk. I don't eat much dairy except cheese and eggs occasionally. I do have a weakness, I love potato chips. I know this is not good. I can feel the fibroid get bigger when I eat them. When I stop for a period of time it decreases in size. At least I feel like it does. I'm not a sugar craver, however during the week before my cycle I'll crave sweets. I usually resist. I feel it's my diet that has caused the fibroids as well as every female in my family has had a hysterectomy due to fibroids. I think it is also hereditary as well. Whatever the case I'd like to know what regimen can you put me on that will help me? The goal is to reduce or dissolve the size of the fibroid so it is not affecting my iron level. I'm also starting to see my abdomen get bigger when I've always had a flat stomach. Perhaps this is me just getting older, however I think it's the fibroids. Constant low levels over time can't be good. I hope I have provided you enough information to give me your recommendation.     Q: I have a fried who was told he has a heart murmur, and a small hole in his heart that is leaking. He needs to get surgery to get the whole closed up, or else it can get worst. He has severe chest pains, and his right shoulder hurts him constantly. They say it is because no blood is pumping to his arm at a steady rate because of his heart. He does not have health insurance and wants to avoid the medications and surgery. He has lost weight so what do you recommend? Full Body Detox?     Q: I am 42 years old. My teeth are not the straightest, but they seem heathy an are white. The dentist recommended that I get braces or a visalign to straighten mainly the bottom teeth. He stated "As we age roots may get twisted and it could lead to problems." I have the 2 bottom canine, that are almost sideways. What would be your opinion be regarding correcting this based on possibilities?

    A:

    Great question! I would be able to answer better if I could actually see your teeth. The alignment of our canines protect all our other teeth. They are critical. Two things for sure happen when the canines come in rotated. One, they do not function fully and therefore all your other teeth can get unusual forces placed on them. We call these forces interferences. Secondly the root of the canine can end up very close to the root of the lateral next to it. When this occurs, bacteria can travel down the side of the tooth, under the gum and increase the possibility that you get bone loss between the two teeth (canine and lateral). The bone is very thin between those roots when the canine is rotated. Also, more plaque accumulates because it is often difficult to clean between the canine and lateral.

    These are the reasons I would suggest moving forward with braces if what I am describing pertains to you. I hope this makes sense.
