Despite what you may have heard, gazpacho is not a juice, smoothie, or anything else. It is simply gazpacho, which belongs to classic Spanish cuisine. Although it is typically consumed in the warmer months of summer, gazpacho can be enjoyed throughout the year. Even though gazpacho recipes have similar ingredients, there is always room for creativity and experimentation in the kitchen.

 

You may be wondering why on earth you would whip up a batch of gazpacho during these colder months. Consuming gazpacho somewhat regularly can be quite beneficial to your health. No matter what ingredients you choose to include, gazpacho contains beneficial nutrients like carotenoids, antioxidants, vitamins A, C, & E, fiber, and a variety of other minerals. The antioxidants and carotenoids from the brightly colored vegetables, which are typically added to gazpacho, tend to delver a lot of anti-inflammatory agents to the body.

 

A Quick Note: For those who have arthritis, it may be beneficial to make gazpacho recipes that are not always tomato-based. While classic gazpachos are tomato-based, too much acidity from the tomatoes can activate arthritis symptoms. Additionally, if you have allergies to nightshades (bell peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, potatoes, or paprika), make sure to make your own nightshade-free take on some of the following recipes.

Just make sure your aloe vera juice is at 99% pure and with no additives. Aloe gel can be added to a fruit smoothie though

    Q: I just started the Full Body Cleanse today! I reviewed the recipe section for ideas but I'm either allergic to the fruit or don't care for the vegetable. Based upon the Full Cleanse process, are there any other food combination or recipes I can do? I made the veggie shake but it was 'spicy' not sure why? Is there anything else I can add?     Could you explain a little further? What do you mean by allergic to the fruit? Do you have certain fruit allergies or getting a reaction to the fruit? 

    Changes in your body are going to occur. Know that your body builds up a culture of bacteria designed to digest your current diet. Your taste buds may have been hijacked by high fat, high sugar, high salt, chemically processed foods. It will take 3 days or more to begin the chance in culture.     Q: I wrote to you a couple weeks ago asking if it was normal for me to have an outbreak only a day or two into the full body cleanse kit. You wrote back and told me that an outbreak is the body healing. It is two weeks later and I am still having an outbreak! Is this a good sign? Do you think this outbreak may continue on through my anti viral kit? I have been eating mostly fruits and vegetables, however I felt like I needed more substance and I was not enjoying my food at all... so I bought organic noodles and organic tomato sauce (sea salt only, tomatoes, no sugar, you get the point).     The outbreak is a result of your body trying to eliminate the toxicity and impurities from your body. Continue to follow the guidelines of the Cleanse.

    In regards to what you ate, YES, they make the cleanse less effective, so you may not want to eat much of cooked foods. Raw foods will optimize the cleanse. If you are having trouble staying full, try more healthy fats, like avocado, coconut cream, or raw nuts and seeds.

    Q: Is sea salt and warm water a good natural laxative? If so how often do you recommend the use of sea salt for elimination? I was reading The Master Cleanser by Stanley Burroughs and it gives this recommendation, along with drinking lemon water mixed with organic syrup and cayenne pepper. Is it safe to give myself an enema 2xs per day using a hot water bottle filled with fresh squeezed organic lemon and distilled water? Asking this because Bzod had me to listen to 88.3 today here in Cincinnati and the guy (Mike) was telling how he does this regularly and has great results.

    Yes, sea salt in water is a mild laxative!

    You can do it as often as you FEEL the need to drink or take it.

    Q: How can I make the transition from cooked food, to raw food? Do you have any raw recipes for children? How can I get kids to eat raw?

    Q: I was looking at your recipes for infant milk. I am breast feeding but need to wean. I was interested in giving him rice milk (Rice Dream enriched with vitamin a, c, and other vitamins). However, the website says not for use as infant formula. Why would this not be a good substitute? What would this be lacking? Why is your recipe a complete formula for proper infant nutrition?     Q: I have the alternative diet and lifestyle manual and want to make sure that this applies to the respiratory condition as well. Can I have the rice bread with no gluten or wheat? or rice pasta being that I have sarcoid? Can I eat cold water fish or venison in small portions along with veggies? What about rice or soy milk or protein whey shake for breakfast once or twice a week?     Q: In the Full Body Detox booklet it states I can have wild rice if I need something warm. I really don't like wild rice, but can I make myself a vegetable soup which I prefer. To me its more filling then the rice.

    Q: I was wondering, is there a "less expensive" alternative to your ANTI-VIRAL CLEANSE AND REGIMEN? Honestly, I don't have the money to order the entire kit right now.     Q: Can you make a formula for those of us who are experiencing hot flushes? I was thinking of a topical formula like Icy Hot but with out the Hot. We could just dab it on our skin to give a sensation of cold to counter the internal heat.

    Q: I have been experiencing some worry issues for the last six months. Anxiety, and panic attacks, it's been a hell of a ride.     Q: I recently completed the Full Body Detox, which I loved. Now, 2 months later, I am very interested in the weight release program. Last year, I lost 40 lbs in 8 months, in the most healthy way (good nutrition and exercise).     Q: I'm writing to you to ask your advise as to what would constitute a beneficial regimen,(SP?), for my 27 year old nephew who suffers from psoriatic arthritis and is currently on a program of methatrexate infusions every eight weeks.     Q: Hi Dherbs. I'm pregnant. I've been slacking off with my diet for years now, eating just about every bad thing but pork. I had gestational diabetes with my last pregnancy.
