Pastor Hosea Weight Loss Full Body Cleanse Before and After

Pastor Hosea

Pastor Hosea Collins stood before his congregation in the City of Refuge Church in Gardena with an “official weigher” at his side and a scale at his feet. Standing in front of his entire church, he felt exposed. He looked out to the faces of people, and with a breath, stepped up onto the scale.

Pastor Hosea’s weigh-in that day was a part of a “Biggest Loser”-style competition in his church to raise money for his youth group’s summer mission trips. Year after year, he would pretend to get really into the effort, hoping to stir his congregation into a competitive frenzy and raise more money. Despite his boasting, however, he never really took the competition seriously — that is until he stepped on the scale.

A native of Louisiana, Pastor Hosea had been obese for the better part of twenty years, but as he stood there, looking at his weight—up six pounds from last year’s competition—his thoughts flashed to his wife and three children. What would happen to them if something happened to him? He was the sole breadwinner for his family, and at 351 pounds, bread had become the least of his worries.

The weigh-in was a wake-up call. Then and there, Pastor Hosea decided 2015 was going to be different— that he was actually going to try to be the Biggest Loser, to win the competition. He stepped off the scale with new-found resolve, but a question lingered. How was he going to lose all that weight?

The answer came from one of his parishioners. She greeted Hosea in the lobby at the end of the service and suggested he do a detox. “What good would it do you to put brand new oil in your car, and not change the filter?” she asked him.

Her reasoning made sense and since he didn’t really know what else to do, he accepted her offer to buy him a detox, but not just any detox. A few days later, she presented him with the Dherbs 20 Day Full Body Cleanse.

The Dherbs 20 Day Full Body Cleanse

The Pastor had never done a cleanse before, but he was anxious to get started. Flipping through the guidebook, he soon read up on the Cleanse’s dietary restrictions. For twenty days he wouldn’t be able to eat meat, dairy, or anything cooked. Instead, he could only eat raw fruits, veggies, and nuts.

“Raw fruits and vegetables for 20 days?! Who does that? It’s bad enough you want me to eat vegetables — which I hate — but you want me to eat ‘em raw?! For 20 days? I’m like, ‘God, are you serious?’” Despite his reluctance, he wasn’t about to give up before he’d even started. He was, after all, determined to be the Biggest Loser.

“The first few days, I thought I would die,” he recalled. Not because he was struggling to eat veggies, but because he prided himself in being a “meatatarian. I’d never eaten a meal without meat. Like, who does that?” Though it was difficult, he didn’t waver. He just kept repeating his motivational mantra “If you want something you’ve never had, you’ve got to be willing to do something you’ve never done.” It was in this spirit that he hunkered down and decided that he would succeed. “If you want something you’ve never had, you’ve got to be willing to do something you’ve never done.”

By Day 3, he started seeing results. “I didn’t remember the last time I had felt that much energy. After three days, I was like, ‘I’m so energetic! I’m so full of energy! Usually, I would be sluggish all the time.” His energy wasn’t the only change he noticed. As the cleanse continued, he started to feel slimmer, his pants became looser, and for the first time in years, he could tie his shoes without having to sit down first.

People started asking him how much weight he’d lost, but he didn’t have an answer. “I had three opportunities to get on the scale and I literally said, ‘Nope, I’m going to wait until the end. And I’m going to find out when everyone else finds out.”

Twenty days passed on the Full Body Cleanse. For the most part, he followed the rules, but he did admit to slipping up a few times. On day seven, he had grilled tilapia at a barbecue. “Once I would lose momentum in the past, that would be it, it would be over.” But this time, he decided to commit to the process. He wasn’t going to give up.

The Final Weigh-In

By the time the competition came to an end, he was feeling so great, he almost didn’t care how much weight he’d lost. “At this point, it wasn’t about being the Biggest Loser. It was all about continuing this momentum and this lifestyle change.” Nonetheless, he stepped on the scale to see how far he’d come in just a couple weeks. And when the “official weigher” called out 324 in front of everybody, he couldn’t believe it. “I literally could not believe I’d lost 27 pounds. It was surreal to me. I was like, ‘Oh, my God! Wow!”

“I think Dherbs isn’t only about what it does to you physically, it’s also what it does to you emotionally. It gave me such a sense of accomplishment. If I can do this, then I can do that. If I can do that, then I can do that.”

“The Dherbs Full Body Cleanse is probably one the greatest investment that I could ever make in my life. And I thank God for it.” At press time, Hosea planned to do the Full Body Cleanse in the fall in order to come closer to achieving his fitness goals. “I am going to lose a hundred pounds,” he promised us. “I’m going to lose a hundred pounds!”

Q: I have used many of your products - the full body cleanse, the female cleanse, and I completed the respiratory cleanse last month. I felt great during the cleanse; when I got off of it, I didn't feel that I was eliminating as easily or consistently. I had purchased the Intestinal Cleanser and the Bowel Motion and started taking them together in the evenings, but I missed a few days due to travel. I noticed that I felt horrible during the days that I was taking it (and felt better when I was off of it).....my stomach felt bloated and cramped and I had headaches and low energy. I am wondering if the combination is too strong for me. Do you recommend taking only the Bowel Mover, or are you supposed to take both? Is it possible that I have a digestion problem? I also had purchased the Thyroid herbs. Is it okay to take those at the same time, or should I wait?

    A:

    Read our article HEALING CRISIS!

Herbs don't cause any health problems. They help you to heal from them. You were experiencing healing crisis, which can be unpleasant; but your body doesn't care. it just wants to heal itself.

I suggest you take these herbs at night right before you go to bed (which is the best time to do so anyway).

And yes, you can take the Thyroid formula ... but take it in the morning!

Q: I'm on my 10th day of the Full body cleanse and I have only dropped like 5 pounds. When I go walking and come back to weigh myself. I see that I'm down like 3 lbs. But, when I weigh myself the next morning, I still only lost 5 pounds. I have lost my appetite completely. I eat fruits and a small salad other than that, I have no desire to eat. I have bowel movements about 3 times a day however, they are not regular size bowel movements. I even had a colonics yesterday, and not much happened with that, no movement. I'm just wondering what can I do to optimize my weight lost with this detox? I had taken smooth move too... still no change... Please advise.

    A:

Stop putting so much energy (emphasis) on how much (weight) you're losing. You're creating a block for yourself. In fact, you should even stop weighing yourself. Only do so after you complete the cleanse. Just focus on how you feel, and what you desire -- your objective, okay!

Q: I have completed the Pancreas Cleanse, and I'm finishing up the Full Body Detox, I'm very disappointed! Reason being, I thought I would have dropped a lot of the extra weight, and I didn't. I did all raw foods, and started preparing raw snacks, made with nuts and dried fruits. In fact, I think I was eating too many raw nuts. I'm still working to help my body heal from the diabetes, but not sure where to go from here. I still want to lose 35 lbs, and I will continue to eat raw at least 85% to 90%, but I need help with supplements. Where do I go from here? By the way is their any reason why, I lost more weight on the Pancreas Cleanse, instead of the Full Body Detox?

    A:

Too many raw nuts could cause a feeling of being bloated, but nuts are pretty good to eat while detoxing. Most people don't have a problem with nuts, while cleansing. Okay, so you have diabetes and the weight is from the diabetes association, correct? It is ideal to first perform the Full Body Detox, followed by the Pancreas Cleanse. If you don't release the full 35 pounds of weight with these 2 kits, you then perform either the 10-Day Supreme Colon Cleanse, or the Weight Release Cleanse. Also, whether cleansing or not, drink 2 cups of Pancreas Tea daily. If the weight (waste), is due to the diabetes then your body responded to the contents of the Pancreas Cleanse (because your body needed it), and this is a sign that you should only be performing the Pancreas Cleanse, and not the other cleanses I named above.

Q: A friend of mine purchased the Full Body Cleanse for me but I am a little hesitant about starting the cleanse. I am afraid that I won't be able to go through with it and that maybe I am doing it for all the wrong reasons.I used to weight 140 pounds in high school, but after I went away to college stress and poor eating habits I gained 50 pounds.I have tried a few different things and when I did not notice results I stopped them. Will it be different this time? Will I actually lose weight? I was also considering trying The Female Cleanse after the Full Body Cleanse. Would that also help with weight loss?

    A:

If you follow the diet and take the herbs as recommended you will 100% loose weight. Not only will you be expelling toxins from your system with help of the herbs but you will also be adapting to a raw vegan diet. The diet alone will help you loose weight.
The Female Cleanse is not design for weigh loss. If weight is what you are focused on then you should perform the Weight Release Cleanse, once you have performed the Full Body Cleanse that is. Never hesitate to call us at 866-434-3727, we would be more than pleased to walk you and guide you through the process.

Q: I have purchased and started your FULL BODY DETOX (FBD) but I need your advice. I'm a so-called diabetic, I'm not overweight 5'9" 140lbs. I've read many of your articles including the one titled "Can I take my medication with FBD?" The first day I started the detox, I didn't take my meds and all I ate was fruits and veggies but my blood sugar was higher than it had been in a long time...356 to be exact. So I stopped and started this week, while taking my meds and it's still been higher than normal...in the 200's range. I understand that you stated that the herbs would be working against the meds since they're considered poisons in the body. My concern is this, I want to continue to cleanse my body but I don't want my blood sugar to stay out of control for an extended period of time...for obvious reasons. My question is, what do you suggest I do in continuing this cleanse? Will the FBD regulate my blood sugar levels over the next 2 weeks as my body begins to repair itself? Or should I continue taking my meds until I'm done with the cleanse? I plan to do the pancreas cleanse next. Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Peace

    A:

Like we clearly and unequivocally explain in so many of our articles, the body is and will regulate itself and you will see this via fluctuation. Levels will be up and down and inconsistent. Your body is going to heal in its own way so if you are concerned about high levels for extended periods of time, you may want to take your meds and refrain from taking the herbs until your levels reach a level you feel safe with. You know, religion is not the only thing that requires faith. Healing requires faith too!

Q: Hello, this is my 2nd time doing the full body cleanse. I did it last year so now I'm doing it again. I started on Monday 3/9 and since have lost 5 lbs. Is that normal? Also why do you recommend Distilled water and not Spring and/or filtered (Brita). I have always drank a lot of water but roughly how many times a day should I urinate and how many times a day should I make a BM? When I did it the first time last year it was late Spring early Summer and incorporated a lot of walking which helped out a lot. This time not so much due to the horrible NY weather. I would appreciate you answering my questions and getting back to me at your earliest convenience. Thanks

A: Everyone's body is different and responds to the regimen differently. Losing 5 pounds in days is okay. Distilled water is the best type of water that helps to detox the body. You should be drinking half your body weight in water. Anything you put into your body you can expect it to come out. Bowel movements and urination is directly related to the foods and beverages you're consuming. Be sure that you're consuming three regular meals a day; eating fruits and vegetables with fiber.

Q: I am 27 years old, 5'7", 125 lbs. I'm in good health; I haven't had any major health problems. The only health complaint I have is horrible menstrual cycles. After coming upon your website, I've decided to make major dietary changes. I've also decided to do the TOTAL WOMAN CLEANSE, and I've also ordered the maintenance herbs you've suggested for after the cleanse. I'd like to begin doing the TOTAL WOMAN CLEANSE and the FULL BODY DETOX regularly according to the seasons. I didn't order both at the same time due to financial reasons. My plan is to do the total woman cleanse at the start of fall...the full body detox at the start of winter...then again the woman's cleanse at the start of spring...and the FULL BODY DETOX at the start of summer. Is this a good plan? Or is there a more beneficial way for me to get the results I want?

    A:

It's a great plan and you'll love these cleanses and your body will thank you (and you can kiss those menstrual problems away as well). Thank you for your interest in Dherbs.Com!

Q: Good morning. I tried the WEIGHT RELEASE CLEANSE AND REGIMEN and followed the diet. I must say that I am amazed at how good I feel. Energetic and focused but alas, I only lost 3 pounds in the 3 weeks. I am 5'5 and currently at 181 pounds. My body is extremely resistant to weight loss. I have done several different types of detox including the IZO juice cleanse in the last year and had not lost weight. I don't even seem to respond to a very low calorie diet. I do have elevated liver Enzyme levels and a recent blood test showed low B6 vitamin and not proper protein digestion. I exercise 3 times a week and I eat rather health and mostly organic. Please HELP. Thanks

    A:

This means that your body focused on another area that was of more importance than weight release. your mind wanted weight reduction but your body intelligence focused on something else. Go with the flow of the body intelligence and trust it. You apparently have an energetic block that prevents you from physically releasing weight (since you've tried other programs). Consider scheduling a consultation so we can get at the energetic/emotional root of your problem. Simply stop worrying about "losing" weight. Focus on what you desire (to see yourself in the size you desire). Don't focus on what you don't want (i.e. to lose weight).

Q: Hi, I've been on the 3-week Full Body Detox for 6 days now and am shocked that I have only lost 1.5 lbs. I've read where 10-50 is expected and have been very strict with my diet but haven't managed to drop much. I am about 15 lbs. heavier than my comfortable body weight so it shouldn't be a question of whether my body thinks I should lose it or not. Any thoughts on what might be happening?

    A:

Sir, Please be patient and judge the cleanse AFTER the 20 days!!!!

Your body may see other things within it as more important than weight loss (release). Weight may be a problem to you, mentally (ego-wise), but not to the body. The body could be addressing something more critical than fat or waste. Relax and just cleanse and enjoy yourself. Trust your body's innate power to heal itself. Body knows best! Stay focused on what you desire! Keep your thoughts in alignment with your desires!

Q: Dherbs.com, I wanted to update you on my experience with the WEIGHT RELEASE CLEANSE AND REGIMEN; I am on the third week of the program (almost finished) and I have lost 25 pounds thus far and still releasing weight. Although, I know the program calls for all raw foods; I have had a few days where I did not follow the plan (i.e. I had some cooked vegetable dishes and some Quinoa). Although I know this is a no-no; I wanted you to know that in spite of my disobedience; I have still released waste. I am now ready to know what's next. Would you recommend the full body detox? I am still overweight for my frame...and I am more interested in lifestyle changes than temporary fixes. I have been vegetarian for the last year. Thanks for your wonderful products.

    A:

Great testimony and kudos to you! We would recommend that you continue to detox (FULL BODY DETOX) to release that unnecessary weight (waste). For lifestyle change, Dherbs is the place to be (articles, e-books, videos, etc.).

Q: I started bleeding heavily last month & it was a week after my normal cycle had come & gone. My ob/gyn dr. performed a DNC & a procedure called Novasure Ablation. It slowed/lessened the bleeding but it did not halt it. I am still bleeding. I don't have fibroids. The polyp that they found during the procedure was benign. The bleeding cannot be explained as all of my organs appear healthy. My dr. has advised me to remove my uterus. Right now I can't afford a consultation plus herbs but I would like to know if you have any suggestions. I wasn't sure if the female cleanse would be enough. I had been on the lemonade cleanse for 9 days when the bleeding started but of course the doctors said there wasn't a relationship. I came off of the diet a few days after the bleeding started & changed my diet to fish/seafood only, eating a raw salad at least once a day. Some days I eat no meat at all. My mother has osteoporosis due to her hysterectomy at a young age & she has been diagnosed with lupus as well. She's open to a consultation with you & trying to control her health with herbs & diet change vs. traditional medicine. Unfortunately money is an issue with her as well so she won't be able to use your services until sometime in January. Having said all of that I basically just want a recommendation for what you think might help my situation so that I don't have to succumb to this surgery. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks

    A:

Change your diet (go raw foods/vegan: no meat, no dairy products, and no refined grains). 2. Perform TOTAL WOMAN CLEANSE (TWC) If you can afford it. 3. If can't afford TWC, take MOON CYCLE FORMULA (6-9 capsules daily) and drink 1 cup of MOON CYCLE TEA.

Q: I have 2 more days left on the Total Woman Cleanse. I also completed the Full Body Detox in January. I started my cycle a couple of days before starting the Total Womans Cleanse, which lasted approxy 5 days. When my cycle stopped, I began to experience spotting everyday (which I understand is apart of the cleansing process). However, my cycle started again and has lasted for 4 days now, and I experienced some clots and heavy bleeding. I've also been feeling fatigue, as a result of the continuous bleeding. I've had problems with my cycle for several years, and I'm really seeking help in resolving the issue(s). I've had a couple of DNCs, over the past few years which have come back okay (praise God), but I also have an enlarged uterus. I was thinking about ordering the Yoni Formula, Moon cycle, Female Tea, and liquid iron. What do you suggest?

    A:

Don't be frustrated, Beloved! It will only block you! Consider ordering and reading our "Mental Science Manual" and "Love Manual" and APPLY the principles so as to help you remain positive, calm, and optimistic about your healing. Listen, after the Total Womans Cleanse, perform the Full Body Detox, and then (after you finish the FBD) start taking the Moon Cycle (formula and tea), Female Hormonal Formula, Yoni Formula, and Styptic Formula. Your body is regulating itself. Trust the natural process! Your body is undoing all the harm you did to it, so be patient, and understanding of all that your body has to do on and for your behalf! Okay? Stay positive! Your body is your humble servant!

Q: I just finished the Full Body Detox. I loved it and felt great the whole time. Ever since I stopped the herbs a few days ago I have been very gassy in my stomach. I eat very healthy and have continued to eat very basic and natural foods the past few days. Is there any reason why I would be feeling this way?

    A:

The body is attempting to naturally regulate itself absent the herbs. Take CARBON and take 3 capsules of ELECTRIC GREENS CELL FOOD daily. The situation will soon pass. Your body is regulating itself. That's all! Drink plenty of water daily too!

Q: I did the full body cleanse and I didn't lose any weight. I don't know if my thyroids are out of balance if so what do you recommend? I'm 5'8, 180 lbs I want to lose 50lbs.

    A:

If you are experiencing a thyroid issue, try adding the Thyroid Aid, and then performing the Full Body Cleanse again. If you maintain the raw foods diet, and with the addition of the Thyroid Aid, your body should be able to potentially lose weight and optimize health.

Q: Dear Brother, I am 6 feet tall and I am on my third day of the 10-DAY SUPREME COLON CLEANSE. I used to be 125 pounds in weight, and I have dropped to 119 pounds. I am a little concerned about the weight loss as I wasn't a healthy weight to begin with. I believe I am underweight for my height anyway. Is this amount of weight loss normal? Also, now I've dropped to 119 pounds and I'm only on day 3 of a 10 day cleanse, should I carry on and lose more weight? I don't want to look like a skeleton! But I want to be healthy. Please advise.

Are they O.K.? Secondly, are there some nuts to stay away from and is there a limit to how much you should consume?

    A:

Raw food restaurants sell RAW FOODS. That's recommended during the Full Body Detox. No problem here! Read our article WHAT IS RAW FOODS. The only nuts you might want to stay away from are peanuts. Glad to hear the detox I going swell!

Q: Thanks so much for all the wonderful info! I had a chance to look at some of your products and I like what I see. There is so much good stuff here. I just finished a 60 day sugar/fat cleanse. I basically cut out all diary, white sugar, flour, pasta, etc (I was already eating a veggie diet) I did very well with the cleanse and I want to keep it going. I lost almost 20 pounds, but I started eating a little differently, since I had some events for the past couple weeks and the weight started coming back on. I'm aware that I have a slow metabolism, but I do exercise (4 to 5x a week) and I generally eat pretty well. I have about another 40 pounds I want to loose and continue to be healthy and energetic. Also, my husband and I are also trying to have our first child. Do you have any suggestions?

    A:

We would recommend that you give our Full Body Cleanse a try. It will help you lose additional weight and rejuvenate your body. Once completed, try the Fertility Kit, which is a 20 Day program and regimen that consists of herbs, elixirs, affirmations, inhaler, and dietary program to help naturally enhance fertility.

Q: I recently completed the Full Body Detox, which I loved. Now, 2 months later, I am very interested in the weight release program. Last year, I lost 40 lbs in 8 months, in the most healthy way (good nutrition and exercise). This year, I slowly started gaining weight back, and 1 year later, I continue to gain weight much more quickly. I am still working out regularly, and eating well. Would you recommend the Weight Release Kit? I am looking to take off 20 lbs at the most. Is that realistic for this formula? However, I want to build muscle and strength as well. Can I maintain the results of the program with the directed nutrition plan, and add white meat for protein (chicken, turkey, tuna). I am also wondering if the formulas simply release excess weight, or can I expect to lose inches and lower my body fat percentage? Thanks for your time and dedication to natural health!

    A:

Glad to hear about your success with the Full Body Detox!

I would highly recommend the Weight Release Kit and Regimen. NO MEAT though! Try vegan alternatives if you must have something - but no meats!

You will release weight (waste)! Your weight is nothing but waste!

Q: I'm doing the Full Body Cleanse and I have a few questions about it: I get tired of drinking just the distilled water and I'd like to drink the herbal teas, but I don't like it by itself. Would it mess things up to add a pack or two of Splenda to my tea or maybe honey? I can't stand the salads with the olive oil or apple cider vinegar or the lemon juice as dressing and it makes me gag. I have To have some sort of salad dressing. What kind would be suitable? Do I look for sugar-free? Or organic and natural? I found one that is organic and natural, but it has 3 grams of sugar in it. Without eating all my whole grained breads and other fiber, I haven't had much of a bowel movement in 3 days, should I wait a while yet? (I had surgery on my bowels and always had to take fiber tablets and eat lots of grains to get my bowels to move.) I haven't done the enemas yet, (low on money) should I try that? Or should I resume my fiber tablets I normally take? Any type of fiber I could add to my fruit smoothies in the morning? I want to also do the female cleanse. Is it ok to do that immediately after I finish the full body cleanse or should I wait for a little while? Thank you for all your help, I feel much better than I did before and I just started this detox a week ago, lost 10 pounds, too, woohoooooo! Thank you

    A:

    1. Instead of splenda, use agave, stevia, or grade b maple syrup as a sweetener.

    2. In re Salad Dressing, an organic and natural one is great. You can also check our website for salad dressing recipes.

    3. The fiber pills are not part of the cleanse, so we wouldn't advise those. Fruit is you best choice of fiber so look into eating more papaya, mango, figs, etc. And yes, colonics (and enemas) would greatly help you - undoubtedly!

    4. You can do the Female Cleanse right after you finish detoxing. There's no need to wait!
