Tricks Against Aging Most People Don’t Know About

natural-beauty-care

Age is just a number, but our outlook on life, as well as how we feel and take care of our mind and body, is what truly matters. We all know (or even own) the arsenal of anti-aging or anti-wrinkle creams and serums people stack in their medicine cabinets. We know of Botox, of quitting cigarettes, and filling up with expensive vitamins that rejuvenate our skin, but a lot of people don’t realize that diet and natural beauty routines have powerful anti-aging effects.

Eat Your Antioxidants:

Although having a diet rich in fruits and vegetables can help you maintain a youthful appearance, antioxidants in particular seem to help reignite the skin’s vitality, vibrancy and overall look. That is because they provide protection against the damaging effects of free radicals on the cells in your body, including those in your skin. Almonds, green tea, avocado and sweet potatoes are all foods rich in antioxidants. Click here for more antioxidant-rich foods.

Cut Back On Sugar:

A secret to aging gracefully is feeding your body with foods that will fuel you, not weigh you down. While sugar is regarded as collagen’s natural enemy, turning the skin less elastic and more prone to wrinkles, sugar’s effect on aging goes deeper than that. Mounting evidence shows that sugar molecules may also be involved in the development of chronic degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Fortunately, you can substitute sugar with healthier, natural options such as raw honey, agave and stevia.

Get On With Coconut Oil:

This superfood is beneficial for skin and hair care, but it has also been found to improve antioxidant levels and can slow down aging. In addition to nourishing the skin, it can reduce stress on the liver, reduce inflammation, and arthritis, boost the immune system, improve brain function, and help those with type II diabetes.

Dried Prunes For Strong Bones:

Dried prunes are commonly used to regulate bowel movements; however, a study found in Osteoporosis International conducted on people with low bone density showed that those who consumed 3.5 ounces of dried prunes daily indicated a slowing of bone breakdown, as well as bone-protective effects. Prunes are rich in vitamin K, magnesium and potassium, all of which are vital for bone health.

Exfoliate:

Exfoliating can assist in the cell producing process, while also getting rid of dead skin cells. It helps give the skin a smooth complexion. Luckily, there are many natural ingredients that can be used as exfoliators, depending on the person’s taste, and the ingredient’s benefits. Great natural exfoliators include sea salt, baking soda, citrus fruits, oats, raw honey, and papaya.

Start Swimming:

If you needed a reason to hit the pool at the gym, here it is: swimming may slow down aging by decades. This full body workout is gentle on the joints, regulates blood pressure, increases respiratory function, and cardiovascular strength; all of which are traditional age markers. Swimming also improves cognitive function, and is a powerful tool for fighting stress and depression, according to an international study commissioned by Speedo.

Q: I would like to know, if you have any skin care programs, for women age 50 and over. I am going to try the detox progarm as soon as possible. I truly believe that I am going to be very happy with the results. I am 51 years old, and I want to look and feel my best. I have a lot of belly fat, and that makes me feel uncomfortable, because some people will ask me, if I am pregnant. This seems very strange to me, because my stomach seems to be the main place, where all the fat is building up. I desire to have beauty inside and out. I want to be completely whole. If you have tips for skin care and body care, please let me know. Some people say that I look like I am in my forties, however, if I did not have all of this extra body fat, I could really believe what they are saying.

    A:

The blood needs to be cleansed in order to enhance your skin and eliminate excess fat.

We would recommend you perform the Full Body Cleanse which can help improve skin complexion, release weight, and detoxify, purify, rejuvenate, and strengthen the body and all of its eliminative channels.

We also have a Facial Skin Kit that works to naturally restore the health of skin by helping to remove blemishes, hydrate skin, and even out complexion for resilient skin.

Q: I think this way is easier and faster to have your response. I currently have many skin problems. I first started having body rash and eczema around my lips. When the skin gets dry, it hurts, and I've been trying to moisturize the skin with using all natural Burt's Bees andor Hugo natural lotion, cream or oil. I tried sea salt soak and been taking Sen-Fen, Blood formula, Immune support, Anti-Viral, but it's not working and the symptoms haven't gotten better at all. My entire body is really itchy from rash, so I haven't been able to sleep well for the past 2-3 weeks. If you have any suggestions for life style, special drinks and foods or products I can use, please let me know asap.

    A:

Greetings! You skin problems are explained in the article "SKIN DISORDER = BLOOD DISORDER" which I suggest you read. (visit articles section). When there's no physical healing, check the mind. Check out the NEW MENTAL SCIENCE MANUAL and there is a chapter in there on using the mind to heal. Basically you are focusing too much on the problem and not the solution which is optimal health and well-being. You are telling yourself how you don't want these problems and by saying this subconsciously, you are keeping the problems. Have your permanently switched or changed your diet? If not, what are you waiting for? Your blood is begging to be purified. Herbs alone won't get the job done. Let go of worrying about the problem. Focus on enjoying life, getting back in balance and you will begin to heal!

Q: When I use the OZ OIL my outer skin is very soft and subtle. However deep down in the skin I feel very itchy. I have been assuming this is the effect of the oil doing its job. After a few weeks I got the feeling that I should try to loofa off the top layers of skin so the under skin could rejuvenate its self. I suppose I am writing because I want to check to make sure that the deep itching truly is a positive healing process before I purchase another bottle. Also to prompt you for any other ideas you might have to help my condition. It is purely beauty based btw I don't have any skin illness.

    A:

The itching is a natural side effect that a healing crisis is taking place. Keep using the Oxy Oil at your discretion.

Q: Any herbal suggestions for eye floaters specifically? There does not seem to be a cure for them other than having the vitreous solution drained from your eyes (very dangerous) and I think only one doctor in the U.S. will even consider doing that for you. It is supposedly just a natural function of aging, and is worse in people who are nearsighted because of the shape of their eyes. I read about your eye formula but I'm wondering if you have any other known cures?

    A:

We offer no cures for any disease, just tools (herbal products) that can assist with the healing process.

We suggest the Eye Kit and Eye Formula. Drink plenty of organic blueberry juice (2-3 cups daily) for additional anti-oxidants.

Q: I am a 49 yr. old black female. When I was younger I had severe cystic acne that left me with what the dermatologist calls "ice pick scaring" and enlarged pores. I had 2 full face dermabrasions in my 30s and have been on retina A from then up until now. I have a pretty healthy diet and exercise routine. My Father and a couple of Uncles of mine also had the same type of skin problems, left with the same aftermath. I use French green clay masks which slightly reduce the look of the large pores and a sugar, honey, and lemon scrub (I make it at home) and I use it on my face. I'm not unattractive, but my skin looks rough and dull and pitted on my cheeks and nose. All the doctors talk about scar revision (cutting),laser treatments, chemical peels, and all sorts of invasive surgeries. I don't want to go that route again and I feel bad about the way I look sometimes. Are there ANY suggestions that you can give that will help me?

Q: I am currently serving in Iraq. I started your 20-day Full Body Cleanse and I have a question about diet. The food that is served to Soldiers is terrible here! The fruits and vegetables are laced with pesticides. So there really isn?t a good source of nutrition here. My question is should I continue with my detox even though I'm fighting a losing battle? I can feel the difference in my health after one week so far! Also, do you have any advice or a product that will get rid of excessive body moles? I notice that with aging, my body moles have shown up in the weirdest places and are very visual on my face, neck and upper chest.

    A:

Don't stop detoxing due to circumstances. The herbs are fighting the pesticides. Keep doing what you're doing and you will still see the beneficial results of the cleanse.

Q: I would like to know if what I'm doing is okay. This is way before we found dherbs site and the products on the internet. We read on the internet that drinking a teaspoon of natural black sea salt or any sea salt in 32oz warm water every morning is good for bowel movement. We have been doing it for awhile now. Is it too much to take it with your products? I lost some weight after my FULL BODY DETOX but not too much on my stomach. What do you recommend l should use to get rid of the tummy area? I bought FIBROID BUSTER TEA I am I drinking it because l feel there is Fibroids down there. Should l also continue taking my BUNNY RABBIT formula with Fibroid tea? In my last email l mentioned my husband had mild stroke. Now he's having spasms all over his body especially when he's sleeping at night. Why is he having it and what else can he use for that? We are using all these wonderful products on the inside and still have un-even skin. Is it okay to use AMBI products for more youthful skin then detox every four months? If not, when are we going to see your skin products on the market?

    A:

We don't recommend the drinking of sea salt. For tummy reduction: exercise (perform abs, sit ups) and take BOWEL MOVER and WEIGHT RELEASE FORMULA. You can take your herbs and tea together. No big deal! Spasms? Clearly the â€HEALING CRISIS†(read the article by this same title). The skin will improve in time. Don't focus on it!

Q: I am 66 yrs old and have multiple health problems-HBP, Diabetes and depression. I weigh 240 lbs. and want to get down to at least 190 or lower. My skin at this time on my arms and stomach looks awful. When I lose the weight which I intend to do with your help. Is there anything you can do to help tighten your skin as you lose weight. Remember my age.

    A:

Thanks for the question! That is a very good question at that.

To avoid loose skin from weight loss the best thing you can do is lose weight slowly and efficiently. Healthy weight loss is around 1lb to 2lbs per week. Your body always seeks balance and does not respond well to rapid weight gain or loss. Hence the stretching of your skin. It takes around two years for your stretched skin to return to "normal" so be patient. Losing weight fast is a goal most people have and you hear stories of people losing 10 lbs a week and believe that is the way to go. Considering your age it's best to take things slow. Besides not losing weight too rapidly, here are three other tips for keeping skin tight.

    1. Switch to a high raw food diet. Raw food diets are often referred to as "Facelift Diets". People who eat a majority of their food raw (60% plus) look younger than most because of the high antioxidant and phytochemical count in raw plant foods. I have seen hundreds of raw foodists lose weight and cellulite at the same time. Raw food helps the body stay hydrated, refreshed, and repairing rapidly. Fruits are my favorite skin food. Avocados, coconut, bananas, peaches, tropical fruit, grapefruit, berries, etc are all potent skin renewing and correcting foods.
    2. Hydration is the key to elastic skin. A simple test to see if you are hydrated is to pinch the skin on the top of your hand for two seconds and then releasing. If the skin snaps back you are hydrated. If it slowly pulls back to position you need to hydrate. The best way to hydrate is to drink two glasses of room temperature water as soon as you wake up. As maintenance drink 8 ounces of water every two hours. Remove or lessen the amount of dehydrating foodstuffs like coffee, tea that is not herbal, table salt, animal products, artificial sugars.
    3. Take care of your skin now by exfoliating daily, doing salt scrubs, using non toxic and natural beauty products. A rule of thumb is "if you wouldn't put it in your mouth don't put it on your skin". Your skin has a direct pathway to your blood stream so be careful what you put on it. I use coconut oil on my skin daily as a moisturizer and that is it. My skin has never been better.

Lastly, with your health goals I recommend you have a free online consultation with me. I run a six month health coaching program over skype that teaches a system of health that empowers people to take control of their own health by teaching them all the tools to get their. Some of the lessons in the course are alkalinity, 60-90 percent raw, detoxing and cleansing, juice fasting, plant based beauty, intro to stress relief and meditation, etc. My clients get the results they desire and get healthy for life. To get a free consultation with me fill out the health history form found here: Health forms . I look forward to hearing from you. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Q: I was online searching for some natural treatments for hair growth in Black Men when I came across your article. I must say that I believe it was so on point that I decided not to look any further. I'm 44 years of age and started noticing my hair thinning when about 12 years ago. I was one of those that you wrote about in your article chasing a lifestyle that is no longer an interest to me. I did fall into some bad habits that were not good for my health off and on over the past 15 years or so more off than on. My body type I would describe as athletic. I'm tone, and strong when I exercise regularly. I'm about 150lbs @ 5'11". My diet is mostly vegetables but from time to time I feel I have to eat fish or chicken. Not necessarily prepared in the healthiest way I'm sure. I just got out of one of my "on" spells so to speak. Meaning the drinking of beer and cigarettes. I've been smoking and drinking beer now since September 2006 after not having done anything but live healthy for six years before that. As soon as my wife and I came back to the states and started working and runnign again these old destructive habits appeared again in my life. I only blame myself though. Right now my hair and skin suffer from the chemical poisoning from the habits that I just mentioned. I am prepared to take your advice about righteous living to heart and start fresh again. Is there a mild remedy that can work with me to stimulate the re-growth of my hair in the spots where it is balding in that classic balding pattern? I am generally very healthy when I doing right and even now rarely get sick. But my sickness manifest in stress and bad habits to num the pain of having to live this way when don't really want to. I quit the job that I've been working for the past 4 years for that reason and have been blessed to have some time not to grind everyday chasing after money. Now is a crucial time of healing for me, and I must take full advantage of the time. Moderation is in order for whatever you can suggest for me in the way of herbal remedies. I am sure that you can prescribe a simple overall regiment for my overall health based on what I have shared with you with an emphasis on the hair and skin. Again, thank you for writing the article. Call or write. The sooner the better.......Thank You!!

    A:

I would say first detox with the FULL BODY DETOX and get your diet right CONSISTENTLY! Constantly clean your temple! This is key! Next, perform the TOTAL MALE CLEANSE. After this, do a daily regimen of HAIR SKIN NAILS FORMULA, ELECTRIC GREENS CELL FOOD, KHEMETIAN GOLD, and MSM SULFUR. Forgive yourself of past self-inflicted harm! Stop worrying about your hair loss. Start visualizing your hair growing back. If you can see it, you will achieve it! The mind is all and problems and remedies begin in the mind! BTW: we offer phone consultations if you're interested.

Q: What Are Some Natural Sweet Treats (Junk Foods) I can Consume? Under free will you can consume what you like, but healthier products are best. You will find plenty of "healthier" snack, treat, and junk foods at good health food stores such as Whole Foods Market, PCC Natural Food Stores, Erewhon, Trader Joes, Natural Grocers, New Frontiers, etc. Just make sure to abstain from salt, sugar, and other harmful chemicals in the products you buy. We list many companies of alternative foods and products (and their website addresses) in our ALTERNATIVE DIET AND LIFESTYLES MANUAL.

Q: I want to find out about skin lightening or evening out my skintone. I am a dark skinned 46 year old black female, I do not use bleaching creams because they are cancerous, and I think that it borders on black female self hatred, But I have uneven, and very dry dark skin color, I would like to get my skin all to one tone, and moist and healthy. Do you have any ideas, or recipes for a natural bleaching cream?

    A:

Skin tone changes based upon life changes, just as your hands change based upon life changes. Live healthy, holistic, and everything will come back into balance. You see, evidently you did something for the skin to become uneven, after all, the skin was not always uneven. Something happened based upon what was going on in your life, and things you were doing and thinking. Go back to that period and reflect and start from there. Do the reverse and the healing will begin.

Q: Over the last 2 yrs I've been interested in taking a more holistic approach to my health. I heard a radio ad for the dherbs website in NC where I live. At any rate, after perusing the site, I know there are several products I want to use but I don't want to take a large quantity of supplements at once. I am interested in doing a detox and colon cleanse. I want to improve the health of my eyes. I am very mucus laden and don't want to have an invasive procedure done that ENT/Sinus doctors are suggesting so I would like to do something more natural to clear that head congestion. I also have oily skin and have struggled with acne most of my life and my hair is not manageable so I would like to do something about skin/hair. With the multiple areas that I'm trying to improve, what's the best regime for me without having to take a lot of products together at once?

    A:

Start your healing journey by: 1. Change your diet (Go raw foods/vegan: no meats, no dairy products, etc.) 2. Perform the FULL BODY DETOX 3. After the FBD, take daily EYES FORMULA, MUCUS BUSTER FORMULA and ELECTRIC GREENS CELL FOOD.

Q: I am having really bad dry skin problems. My scalp is very dry and I can pull huge chucks of skin out of my hair. My fore head is peeling and around my nose area is peeled off and has left me with red raw skin around my nose. I wanted to know what should I do to help solve my dry skin problem?

    A:

Wewould suggest you perform our Full Body Detox. Also, purchase the Full Body Cleanse Companion booklet and perform some of the soaks mentioned in there. The best soak is to soak in 2-3 boxes of sea salt and 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide for about an hour per day. After getting out of the tub, rub our Oxy-Oil over your entire body to help the skin breathe.

Q: My mother is 85, bed ridden and is fed through a feeding tube; she has this skin disease Bullous Pemphigoid! Her vital signs are good. Is there anything through your broad knowledge and experience that you might suggest for her skin? She is beginning to itch more and more! We have tried all kinds of topical creams none seem to relief her!

    A:

At this stage it would be difficult for her to consume capsules. Can she still swallow or take food via the mouth? If not, then it's little that can be done unless herbs will be put through the feeding tube. Now externally, she could try the Dherbs HEALING SKIN OIL. Q: I just purchased the Pancreas Kit for children, for my 4 year old who was diagnosed with type one diabetes. I have been feeding her a raw diet of just vegetables. The diet includes no dairy, no grains, and fruit for a week. I also started the Pancreas kit last week too. I was wondering if there is any reason why her blood sugar levels would go up? All she is eating is veggies, and her sugar levels are at 300 most of the time. Even if she doesn't eat anything, it still goes up to 300. I also know it says you cannot tell us not to give, or not to give her insulin, or not. I am still currently giving it to her. Does the pancreas kit work just as well if the are receiving insulin or not? Or does it hinder the process?. I would really appreciate other advise you would offer. Thanks so much!

    A:

Drugs and herbs don't mix! They cancel each other out. The blood sugar will go up and down due to the body attempting to regulate, and normalize the blood sugar levels. Perfectly normal! It's called "healing crisis. Whatever you guys choose to do, simply keep monitoring the person. Ask the person how he/she feels (very important).

We are believers in Jesus Christ and His Word, so we don't like to speak negative words that are contrary to what we believe and hope to manifest from the spiritual into the natural. Hepatitis C is easy to knock out! She just needs to detox with the FULL BODY DETOX and drink Milk Thistle and Dandelion Root tea.

Q: I have been battling endometriosis for several decades now and I hadn’t really found relief until I began educating myself and prescribing my own remedies…. conventional medicine seemed to be unable to help, save for surgery which only helped for a few months. I have recently experienced relief after learning to (avoid estrogenic foods, get rid of chemicals (perfumes, cleaning agents, sprays…), discontinuing relaxers and cosmetics, using natural deodorants, eating organic, eating raw foods, taking kosher supplements/vitamins that are bio-ready, refraining from sugar, drinking water, and so on…) …after a LOT of research and trial and error, I am beginning to feel better, though the progress comes at very slow intervals.
