Bullied at School? Take a Lap

There are few things in life as profound for our health as exercise. As physical education courses get cut all across the country, new research indicates it may be an important way for bullied kids to take care of their mental health and feel better.

A new study from the University of Vermont found that bullied kids who exercised at least four times per week, experienced a 23% reduction in suicidal thoughts and attempts. Nationwide, nearly 20 percent of student reported being bullied on school property.
