Q: I was online searching for some natural treatments for hair growth in Black Men when I came across your article. I must say that I believe it was so on point that I decided not to look any further. I'm 44 years of age and started noticing my hair thinning when about 12 years ago. I was one of those that you wrote about in your article chasing a lifestyle that is no longer an interest to me. I did fall into some bad habits that were not good for my health off and on over the past 15 years or so more off than on. My body type I would describe as athletic. I'm tone, and strong when I exercise regularly. I'm about 150lbs @ 5'11". My diet is mostly vegetables but from time to time I feel I have to eat fish or chicken. Not necessarily prepared in the healthiest way I'm sure. I just got out of one of my "on" spells so to speak. Meaning the drinking of beer and cigarettes. I've been smoking and drinking beer now since September 2006 after not having done anything but live healthy for six years before that. As soon as my wife and I came back to the states and started working and runnign again these old destructive habits appeared again in my life. I only blame myself though. Right now my hair and skin suffer from the chemical poisoning from the habits that I just mentioned. I am prepared to take your advice about righteous living to heart and start fresh again. Is there a mild remedy that can work with me to stimulate the re-growth of my hair in the spots where it is balding in that classic balding pattern? I am generally very healthy when I doing right and even now rarely get sick. But my sickness manifest in stress and bad habits to num the pain of having to live this way when don't really want to. I quit the job that I've been working for the past 4 years for that reason and have been blessed to have some time not to grind everyday chasing after money. Now is a crucial time of healing for me, and I must take full advantage of the time. Moderation is in order for whatever you can suggest for me in the way of herbal remedies. I am sure that you can prescribe a simple overall regiment for my overall health based on what I have shared with you with an emphasis on the hair and skin. Again, thank you for writing the article. Call or write. The sooner the better.......Thank You!!
I would say first detox with the FULL BODY DETOX and get your diet right CONSISTENTLY! Constantly clean your temple! This is key! Next, perform the TOTAL MALE CLEANSE. After this, do a daily regimen of HAIR SKIN NAILS FORMULA, ELECTRIC GREENS CELL FOOD, KHEMETIAN GOLD, and MSM SULFUR. Forgive yourself of past self-inflicted harm! Stop worrying about your hair loss. Start visualizing your hair growing back. If you can see it, you will achieve it! The mind is all and problems and remedies begin in the mind! BTW: we offer phone consultations if you're interested.
Q: Dear Yogi, I read an article on your site about reverse Kundalini (anal sex). I don't know if you can answer my question or not - originally I was going to pose it to "Ask the Guru", but in my limited understanding, Kundalini is tied into yoga. I have been trying to get balanced by meditating, living my passions, writing, art, and belly dancing all unprofessionally, except for the first one (on a very small scale). I have been doing guided chakra meditations and other things, including yoga, and some dietary modifications. I feel I am gradually growing and living my purpose. However, incrementally starting in my mid forties. Anyway, I have been on this path for a couple of years now, and have more happiness and peace than I ever have. I don't want to get into a lengthy essay about my limited understanding of Kundalini, and the possibility of what I perceive is going on with my body (though I am very healthy) right now, so I will attempt to get to the point. I am grateful for my life. I have much more than many people if I were to measure. I feel like I am still blocked, though. About three years ago I dated a guy who sodomized me one time. He was a rapist, long story short and an error in judgement on my part. Though my intuition was screaming at me the whole time. I look at the experience as pushing me further along my path and teaching me to trust, love, respect myself, and defend my boundaries. What concerns me is that I feel that experience is still trapped within me to a degree, and I am worried that it will manifest into a disease. Often when I meditate on my root chakra I start crying. Part of me believes that I can't force anything, just have to let the process unfold in its own time. There is so much info out there that I find it overwhelming, and it is hard to know which to trust. So I have just been going with what resonates with me as far as technique. If you could offer me any advice, I would be grateful.
Hello, I would like to first thank you for sharing your story and your experience. It sounds like you are devoting time and attention to the many things, that will help foster a sustained health and healing for you in life. As you have recognized, it is very helpful for us to take intuition very seriously and to honor this innate ability to discern whether a situation will be harmful or beneficial to our growth and experience as humans. Very often the circumstances and challenges presented to us in life, as happened in yours, serve as great teachers in allowing us to witness our own great strength, compassion, and value. I am glad to hear that you have been able to take the very difficult situation you found yourself in and use your experience to create a better understanding of yourself in the process. While it is true that we tend to develop patterns of holding and habitual ways of holding tension within the body; this does not mean that there are not steps you can take to move through such a body, mind, and spirit experience. The fact that you are crying upon meditating on your root chakra is a sign that you have made yourself available to the grief that naturally accompanies traumatic situations such as the one you experienced. Keep in mind that when we deeply grieve, our bodies are able to express the energy that may have potentially been repressed during this experience. The energy of the root chakra is all about our ability to feel safe, strong, and supported. The violation of this energy can leave one feeling ungrounded and striving for our self-preservation. Try not to become fixated on the worries you are having about the experience arising as disease in your body, as worrying can lead to increased levels of chronic stress, which will potentially create an internal environment more vulnerable to disease - which is what you are trying to avoid. It might be nice for you to meditate on your right to be here, to exist on this planet, and to be valued. It may also be very nice for you to take some restorative yoga classes, which can be grounding and stimulating to the parasympathetic nervous system (assists in the healing process). Recognize that the body may be holding energy in a direct response to a real threat, but begin to create a safe, loving and supportive environment to allow yourself to begin to be able to let go of this holding as you feel safe. When working to heal the first chakra, it is helpful to get in touch with the direct experience of the sensations of the body and become aware of the physical experience of the body. This can be done with the assistance of an expert, to help you change the physical expression of your felt experience. We could also do something called "body dialogue" to put you more deeply in touch with what the physical expression you are experiencing has to teach you about how you are inhabiting the world you are in. There are also many forms of grounding exercises which can help to balance the first chakra. If you are interested in being lead through a series of guided meditations, please contact me at email@example.com. Namaste, Megan
Q: I'm still trying to mentally escape from the Matrix. My dreams constantly find themselves up against bills, and financial stability. As you've stated in your articles, I need to to "Live My Making" and stop trying to "Make a Living." I was thinking as well, can you write an article on Gaining your Sovereignty and escaping the Matrix? I know you deal, and have dealt with law. I don't know if you've taken these steps yet. This crossed my mind as I read the article you wrote about Unemployment Insurance and you commented on being an "employee" as it relates to being a "slave."
Give me some time, Beloved, as I have so many articles in my head that haven't found their way to my computer. I want to type up so much information, but my time is so of the essence. I'm so full of passion to write there just simply isn't enough time in one day to write everything I desire to write; but the information will come. Funny you mention the article on Escaping the Matrix because it's the title of an article I will write, the name will be OVERCOMING THE MATRIX, as it's better to overcome than to escape. To escape means you belong somewhere, and have left against authority. When you overcome something, it's by your own authority and divine assistance.
Q: I'm a 38-year-old male who has been suffering with Atrial Fibrillation for 3 years. Up until the age of 35 I never had any real illness that had any caused for concern, and then out of the blue I have a heart related issue. My Doctor has never given me a cause of where this came from and all the research I've done on my own turns up the same. The answers the doctor gave (caffeine, alcohol, and so on) I've never really used any of those things excessively. My eating habits up until that time where not that great and I was about 100lbs over weight. I've lost 85lbs since, and also have giving up all meats. Also I had Cath. Ablation surgery for the A-Fib. It's been 3 months since surgery and I'm now off of the Coumadin they had me taking. I'm not sure if the surgery was a total success, I've not had an attack since New Year’s Day 2008. But I'm still not feeling back to my old self. I've been having some very weird feelings of nausea, tension, constipation, and tiredness, headaches, etc. When I do go to the doctor they tell me that everything looks fine and that I may be a bit stressed and suffering from anxiety. I'm writing to you in hopes that you may be able to guide me to the right path to healing and returning to living somewhat normal life again.
WITHOUT A QUESTION THE BEST PLACE FOR YOU TO BEGIN YOUR NATURAL HEALING JOURNEY IS WITH THE Full Body Detox. AND BECAUSE YOU TOOK THE DANGEROUS “COUMADINâ€, YOU REALLY NEED TO CLEANSE YOUR BODY OUT. THIS CLEANSE WILL HELP YOUR HEART TO RECOVER AS WELL.
Q: Thank you for the cancer info...It is welcome and beyond informative, however, I take issue with your remark that "women would be wise to just accept the fact that they are female by nature and God made them to have (deliver) babies and they should stop trying to compete with and be like men." Part of me is not surprised--men make comments like this all the time. I chalk it up to ignorance, as men enjoy living their entire lives not having to endure periods, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and lord knows what else. So because a woman does not want to have children--at all, or at a particular time in her life--she wants to be a man?! That's an illogical conclusion you are making. So why are there pregnant women with cancer, some of which who have never taken BC pills? Are women entitled to making any sort of control over their reproductive health? What about women who are infertile, naturally? If they develop cancer, is it because they never gave birth to a child? Are you willing to support all of the children that will result from women not being on Birth Control, since many people cannot afford several children on their incomes? This line of reasoning makes some women think that men really need to get over themselves. I think you have been reading too much Freud. Some women, present company included, appreciate our femininity and everything that encompasses being a woman. At the same time, this is not the dark ages--and even then, women chose not to have children during different times in their lives. Surely you are aware that in non-Western countries women utilize natural herbs to control their reproduction or as abortifacients? I am not advocating abortion; my point is that if you are going to criticize women taking BC pills, you may as well extend this criticism to women naturally preventing pregnancy via alternative means.
Birth control pills play a big role in female reproductive cancers. Women would be wise to just accept the fact that they are female by nature and God made them to have (deliver) babies and they should stop trying to compete with and be like men. In attempting to stop or prevent life (birth control), they are ending up losing their very own lives. And the birth control pills cause cancer in areas of the body that denote femininity (breasts, ovaries, fallopian tubes, cervix, uterus and vagina). This is a form of language here. You have disease and female organ(s) which basically means your disease is specifically related to an issue of femaleness or femininity, that's why the disease manifests in these "female" organs. In attempting to be like and compete with males, females compromise their feminine integrity and goddess nature which "eats them up" (anger, frustration, sadness, etc.) inside. When the cancer appears in any female organ, it serves as a sign or sensor that the problem lies on a deeper metaphysical level pertaining to emotions, thoughts and attitude."
Q: Thank you for always answering my questions. I have about two more. Okay, I'm currently living overseas where I'm limited on raw fresh foods (vegetables and fruits). I want to do the detox but I'm concerned that I won't have everything as far as raw food to be successful. I have access to basics (apples, oranges, bananas, tomatoes, avocados, melons, lettuce, cabbage, bean spouts, carrots, celery, peppers, green beans, peas, bagged nuts,) but nothing exotic by any means. Then I was told to safely eat some of the food in the local economy that we should wash it with a 5% bleach solution (is that safe...and if on the detox I'm thinking that would be a no go). Two questions?Given the mentioned availability of raw foods could I be able to successfully complete the detox (I don't have an issue with eating the same things over and over again) and two what can I do to clean local produce so that its safe for consumption? Apparently part of the issue is that they use human feces to fertilize. Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response
Yes, it seems you have enough raw food available to you to complete the cleanse.
In order to clean local produce, rinse thoroughly with apple cider vinegar to "disinfect" it. If apple cider vinegar is unavailable, just use water.
Q: I am returning this product to you for my refund. I liked what you said in the article about fibroids. I wanted more information such as success stories or testimonials. You said I should just go with the flow and order the product. That it didn't matter what other women had experienced. After getting the product on Wed, I checked the ingredients on the internet. It seems that one herbal website strongly advises women with fibroids not to take Dong Quai. Also Julia Chang on her website - www.sensiblehealth.com says that it is one of the herbs I should not take. That Chinese doctors do not understand female hormones, etc. I have bought a lot of stuff on the internet with my credit card, this is the first time I am returning something. Oh well, back to the basics. I will read over your Full Body Cleanse. Thanks!
As long as the bottle is unopened you are entitled to a refund. However, none of the herbs we use will have you experiencing any negative side effects. Dong Quai and other herbs only provide beneficial results.
Q: I have these cysts on the side of my ribs I had one cut out and have another one I was concerned and wanted to know to naturally get rid of them .... also how do I free myself from sugar I read some of the articles and would like to change my eating habits would love to become a vegan where do I start.. help I'm 39 Hispanic male need to detox bad ran the family out the house. Need to get in shape I look young but feel old, I have inflammation in my joints in my spine.
Your solution is: DETOX! DETOX! DETOX! Change your diet! You must start eating right! Read the book "Becoming Vegan." A great book!
Q: I read on another herbal website that Senna & Cascara Sagrada are habit forming and shouldn’t be taken every day or on a long-term basis. Is this True? I have changed my lifestyle and eating habits to a healthier one and I love tea. I would like to know how long could I drink your teas?
DHERBS.COM DOES NOT EMBRACE THIS POSITION. WE FIND IT TO BE UNTRUE! YOU CAN DRINK TEAS LONG AS YOU LIKE!
Q: I am enjoying my detox and am looking forward to this life style change. Lauren you unofficial spokes person has mentioned getting a oxygen bath and a Turkish sauna experience. What other holistic remedies do you recommend to help with the Full body Cleanse?
We mention some additional holistic modalities in the Full Body Detox Companion (available on-line at www.dherbs.com). I.E. foot detox, salt bath (at home), colonics, enemies, etc. Check it out!
Q: I am curious, what you'd suggest in repairing gum tissue? The gum tissue was abraded due to heavy handed brushing. I use your herbal tooth powder formula, and have switched to a soft bristled toothbrush, and adhere to healthy eating and thought habits. What else what you recommend?
I would suggest you start gargling every morning and night with herbal tea (red raspberry tea or white oak bark or goldenseal root if you call deal with the taste). Swoosh in the mouth from side to side for a good 2 minutes. Swooshing with sesame seed oil for 10-20 minutes 2-3 times a week is also good to do for the health of the gums!
Q: Happy New Year to You and yours!!! My son is three years old; he was born December 12, 2004, this was a Sunday. Ever since he started talking he's had a fascination with the light and light bulbs. He looks up and says "mom look, the light is beautiful" or "mom see the beautiful light bulb". I look at it and I usually say yes it is beautiful Jordan. However, I do not see what he sees nor do I understand the attraction. When he was two weeks old I took him with me to Olive May and the old wise woman there saw him and asked me to bring him to her. When she looked at him she said "he is indigo--he is like sunshine when he enters a room and people will be drawn to him." So far the part about people being drawn to him has manifest true. What do you think of the attraction/fascination to the lights? Also, I read that awesome article on birthmarks!! I don't have one, however, my son has one on his buttock; I don't remember which one at the moment. His primary pediatrician called it a mongolian spot..what do you say?? Does it mean he will fall and hurt himself or has fallen?? Looking forward to seeing you in March. Love, Peace and Blessings.
You son is most definitely an INDIGO CHILD (specifically a CRYSTAL or RAINBOW CHILD manifesting all 7 spectrums of color of the Rainbow). His preoccupation with lights could denote many things. For one, he is Light himself (light-worker). It could be that he still remembers the Light before re-incarnating this time around. We all eventually move into the Light in order to move on. Mongolian spot? A very negative term! Buttocks denote an injury that occured on that area in a past life. Birthmarks don't mean something adverse will happen to you in this lifetime where your birthmark is. It doesn't mean this at all. Just be open to experience and learn from and with your child. Live in the moment and just be open!
Q: Good morning, I have always had problems moving my bowels. Sometime I can go 2 weeks without a good move. I have been taking laxatives for years in order to clean myself out which I am sure is neither good for me. What suggestions do you have for me=-- I have tried eating the fiber, etc. Thank you in advance for your advice. Theresa
You're bowel movements are directly related to the foods you consume. Even with the consumption of fiber, there are foods in certain diets that contribute to irregular bowel movements as some foods take longer to break down. It's best to eliminate the foods from your diet that your body is accustom to receiving, giving it only what it needs. We suggest doing the 10 Day Colon Cleanse to help address impacted bowels. The cleanse and diet regimen can help repair the way your digestion track functions helping to improve your bowel movements.

Q: THE STERIODS MY SON HAS BEEN TAKING HAS GIVEN HIM A ULCER IN THE SMALL INTESTINE. THE TISSUES ARE SO WEAK THEY WANT GO BACK IN TO REPAIR. HIS BLOOD ISN'T MAKING PLATELETS AND HE IS ONLY FEEDING THROUGH THE IV AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THE HERBS COMES IN THAT FORM. THE BLEEDING HAS DECREASED, KIDNEYS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. BLOOD PRESSURE IS OUT OF WACK. HELP ME HELP THE DOCOTOR'S. THEY ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT HEBS AS LONG AS THEY DON'T MAKE IT WORST.
Unfortunately we don't make herbal formulas for IV administration. Herbs and medical doctors are a bad combination. The doctors appear open minded, but their ignorance is a liability. Why not stop the steroid use? Read our article on "SURGERY".
Q: I am a marathon runner, swimmer, and part time student. For my Entire Life since age 13 1/2, I?ve had either anorexia or bulimia, sometimes a bit of both. I am now 41. Yes, my teeth are hurting. Yes, I realize this is supposedly not optimal health, but I suppose my life has been so stressful for such a long time, that my eating 'disorder'edness has just been the coping mechanism that has kept me sane. Thing is, I realize I want to live a long, healthy life, and I need help. My thought is that a cleanse of some sort of toxins might really help me. Would you have any herbs to offer I could do that with, say, in tea form? Or any other sage. I really seriously hope you respond because I need help.
The Full Body Cleanse will greatly help your body to remove toxins.
One of our teas you will want to drink daily is the Detox Tea, along with a number of other teas. Please check our online store for a full list.
Q: I took the FULL BODY DETOX about a month ago and during my consultation with you, you suggested that I move right into the ANTI-VIRAL CLEANSE AND REGIMEN and then the TOTAL MALE CLEANSE, but I went a couple of weeks in between the full body detox and anti viral kit. In that time, I fell back into a few bad habits, eating, lifestyle, etc. Now that I am back in the right frame of mind on the anti viral kit, I want to make sure that I haven't slowed or compromised my healing process. Do you think I should go on to the total male cleanse after the anti viral kit or go back to the full body detox, or what do you think is the best course of action for my situation?
Beloved, I suggest you perform the ANTI-VIRAL CLEANSE AND REGIMEN, then the TOTAL MALE CLEANSE, and then the FULL BODY DETOX! Don't worry about falling off the path! See it as taking a few steps backward in order to make a great leap ahead! Stay positive!
Q: I just ordered ear oil for my 2 year old daughter. She is experiencing temporary hearing loss. We were told by the physician that it could be partly due to wax build up in her in one ear and the pressure in the middle ear of both ears are slightly higher than what it is suppose to be. What would you suggest as a remedy to this problem?
Get her ears "candled" or "coned" (see "EAR PROBLEMS"article on our site). It's the best procedure for removing excess ear wax buildup - guaranteed!
Q: My question is about hair loss. I am a 45 year old African American female. I started losing my hair about 15 years ago. I specifically remember unusual symptoms before it started to fall out. First, my entire scalp had a burning sensation, and it was very tender to the touch. It was very difficult to brush, comb and wash. Then after that, I am not sure how much longer after, but a dry patch of skin developed toward the back of my head (approximately 1 inch in diameter). I was able to peel it off and pull it through the strains of hair (very weird). That happened a couple of times and not too long after that, my hair started to fall out in large amounts for a fairly long period of time. At the moment I would say that I am mostly bald with hair mostly around the edges. Also I would like to mention that hair started to grow on my chest BUT I started to lose hair in my vaginal area. Sorry if some of this sounds sketchy but it's been 15 years!! I will try to give you a little bit of my history. I am 5'8" and 135lbs. I would say that for the most part, I have been an athlete all my life. My menses were very irregular sometimes and/or absent for long periods of time. When my menses were present, I had very bad cramps and clotting. My menses are now very regular and I hardly have any cramps, my flow is light and very little clotting. I would have to say that it is now a pleasure to have my "period". This also might be a result from switching my diet to a vegetarian diet. I have been a vegetarian for about 16 years. I would say 20% is dairy, but after reading your articles, I am trying my best to become vegan, hopefully even a raw foodist. I also eat tofu. I have never had hair problems growing up. I did get relaxers, but only twice a year. I have had my appendix removed when I was in elementary school. My bowel movements are usually once a day. (I know it needs to be 3.) So anyway, I have been to a couple of medical doctors to no avail, so now I am coming to you. I just received the following products from your company today (10-06-08). I am looking forward to using them. - MSM SULFUR - ELECTRIC GREENS CELL FOOD - COLON FORMULA - HEALING HERBAL TOOTH POWDER - HAIR OIL One last note: I have had maybe one cold in the last 3 years. I can't remember the last time I had the flu. So thank the Lord, my health has been pretty good. Thank you for reading about my situation and hopefully you can shed some light on what is going on with my body.
