Q: I am just becoming a vegan going on 20 years in June, and it takes a lot of discipline. I was wondering if you knew any good recipes for some good vegan style dishes. I really want to establish a vegan restaurant. I have purchased your Alternative Diet and Lifestyle Manual, and I know its healthier to eat vegan. But, I also understand its not the healthiest due to soy products. Is their still away to satisfy my appetite and well being at the same time?

Q: How often should one eat cook food? I'm a vegan, I do not consume any meat, seafood, milk what so ever. I eat water cresses like everyday so as cook food. Like white rice with black bean sauce, spinach, and pasta at time's I'll eat some Chinese fried rice, veggie roll, steamed vegetables, any advice?
You can eat cooked food as much as you like. However, try to incorporate as many nutrient-dense raw foods, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, raw nuts and seeds, into your diet to make sure you are receiving an adequate amount of nutrients.
Q: I see also that you recommend a complete diet with these programs. I am guessing its a vegan diet right? I wanted to ask something on that is coconut milk and coconut oils ok for that? I personally had a very hard time trying to eat that many vegetables and many ph balance vegans seem to think fruits aren?t good either. I eat that many vegetables one it tears me up the next day and two I just cant consume enough calories that way. I can try and make up for it by eating things like almonds but I eat to many almonds I get the same problem the next day. Now coconut milk (unsweetened) and a digestive enzyme works for me for picking up extra calories.... but I hear very conflicting information about coconut and its saturated fat content. Is it ok to use daily as a part of the diet for cleansing? And your oxy-drops are those the same as the drop for ph balancing water?? Or is it something different? I am wanting to start lifting weights as I need to put on some muscle and I?m wondering if its something that would be beneficial in combating muscle soreness by increased oxygen in the body.
The diet we recommend is vegan-based, and RAW FOODS. Fresh fruits, vegetables, raw nuts and seeds are ideal.
Coconut Milk and Coconut Oil are excellent products to have in your diet. The healthy fats will keep you fuller.

Q: My question is, are raw desserts fattening? I've purchased all raw food cookbooks and I made two desserts that I absolutely love. Then I started thinking that if I have a raw dessert every night that might be too much. What do you think?
RAW DESSERTS ARE NOT FATTENING UNLESS YOU THINK THEY ARE THEN YOU WILL ATTRACT WHAT YOU FEAR. HOWEVER, I WOULDN'T GET TOO CAUGHT UP ON EATING A LOT OF RAW DESSERTS (TREATS) BECAUSE WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TREATS EVERYDAY BUT ON SPECIAL OCCASIONS.
Q: What's the best way to start on a vegan/raw food diet? I am not sure what to eat to make sure I would get a nutritious diet-you may not be able to go into that much detail but how can I get sample meal plans for breakfast, lunch and dinner incorporating this type of diet-perhaps there is somewhere on the web I find something like this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

3: Start simple with breakfast. Always start your day with a green smoothie. read "Green smoothie revolution" by forget authors name at the moment. heh.
A sample meal plan would be.
Breakfast: Green smoothie
Bridge: raw bar, handful of nuts or seeds, or fruit
Lunch: Raw wraps made from collard greens. use a base of tahini, hummus, or nut butter. Fill with sprouts and colorful veggies

Dinner: Raw pasta with a large salad

Actually, coconut oil is healthier for human consumption than coconut butter. Both are derived from a natural food source - the coconut, and thus may be consumed. Now as far as what the most healthiest oil, I don't think we can say it's coconut oil.
Q: How can I make the transition from cooked food, to raw food? Do you have any raw recipes for children? How can I get kids to eat raw?
Children do as you do, so let the child see you eating raw food as well. Fruits are the best raw foods to eat, as they are naturally sweet. Purchase "Alternative Diet and Lifestyle Manual", for the numerous raw food resources to assist you in this transition.

Q: I have heard that there are tremendous benefits in taking coconut oil - three teaspoons every day before a meal. I have high cholesterol ( I just ordered your cholesterol herbs). Can I still take the coconut oil everyday or will this make my cholesterol go up?
A: Coconut Oil has tremendous health benefits. You should absolutely include it as part of your diet regimen.
Q: Are vegan burgers with whole grain brown rice a good food combination?
There are too many grains in that combination. Consider a veggie side, i.e. salad. We reccomend a vegan, raw foods diet, full of fresh fruits and vegetables in order for you to receive the nutrients you need and detoxify your system.
Q: Yes coconut oil maybe natural but I go thru 3-4 jars per week, 1-1/2 a jar a day, not only is it making me broke out I do not think all that saturated fat is good for me. I know I lack a lot of protein and other vitamins in my diet. Could this lack of essential nutrition cause this weird craving? I don't know if it is the massive loss of blood due to the fibroids.
I think you know the answer for yourself. Therefore, stop eating the coconut oil. Take some vitamins and minerals and see if this helps. Sounds like PICA, a nutritional deficiency which causes cravings. Blood loss most certainly will cause loss of nutrients.
Q: Truth indeed. I just finished watching this youtube video, on mass control, fluoridation, and mercury poisoning. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?Feature=player_embedded). I wondered if there were any herbs, or natural rememdies that can counteract this? Don't look for answers or solutions primarily from sources outside of the body. There are herbs, but first use your mind. Mental healing! will your healing into fruition. I don't know the exact reasons why you are craving frozen coconut oil but clearly you are lacking something and your Body Intelligence instructed you to eat frozen coconut oil. The oil is perhaps serving as a vehicle for the fibroid debris so as to pull what debris it can out of your body. Coconut oil is natural so I don't see anything wrong with your newfound custom. As long as you're fine with it, keep doing it.
Q: I don't know if you remember or know, but there was a Vegan Couple that had a newborn baby, and the baby had died from what seemed to be a lack a of nutrients because the couple fed the baby a vegan diet. If you remember this, what do you think went wrong.
The couple was from Atlanta! What went wrong is that while they were well-intentioned, they were ignorant, ignorant to true nutrition. They fed the baby soy milk, and soy milk does not contain nutrition. They didn't supplement the soy milk with nutrition which they could have done with herbs such as alfalfa, Irish Moss, Iceland Moss, etc.

Q: I am an underweight but healthy 26 year old female. I would like to maintain my weight and I use organic canned coconut milk in my grain hot cereal. Is canned organic coconut milk acidic? If so, what brands are alkaline?
Anything canned is going to be acidic. What ever you use for make, let it be raw. Raw coconut milk fresh from the coconut is alkaline.
Q: I just ordered the FULL BODY DETOX and I know there's a dietary regimen that I will have to follow. I was wondering if you would approve of a protein shake that consist of (raw hemp protein powder, raw almond butter, sea salt, flax seed, 100% young coconut water & meat inside the coconut, raw carob powder,) (optional soy or rice milk or soy or rice cream)
Doesn't sound like it will mess up your FULL BODY DETOX. Go for it! But leave out the rice/soy cream! The rice milk is okay (but it is processed/cooked)!
Q: Is necessary to continue food combining after completing FULL BODY DETOX in 20 Days? For example can you consume sweet fruit with sub acid & acid fruit also starches and vegetable (beans) proteins together? I learned in Nutrition that starches (rice) and beans are complete protein when combined together that our body needs. Are you at risk for protein deficiency if consuming vegan diet?

Q: I was looking at your recipes for infant milk. I am breast feeding but need to wean. I was interested in giving him rice milk (Rice Dream enriched with vitamin a, c, and other vitamins). However, the website says not for use as infant formula. Why would this not be a good substitute? What would this be lacking? Why is your recipe a complete formula for proper infant nutrition? Please Help a concerned new mom!
Rice Dream is fortified with SYNTHETIC nutrients (vitamins and minerals) and therefore it's not a good source of organic nutrition. If you use Rice Dream, please fortify it with organic nutrition like Dherbs.com Moringa Seed Extract, and Iodine Phosphate Extract (add 5 dropperfuls of each formula to infant milk).
