    Q: Do you have any suggestions for a breakfast, lunch & dinner schedule? I'm making the transition to a healthier diet due to fibroid tumors.     Q: Are vegan burgers with whole grain brown rice a good food combination?

    There are too many grains in that combination. Consider a veggie side, i.e. salad. We reccomend a vegan, raw foods diet, full of fresh fruits and vegetables in order for you to receive the nutrients you need and detoxify your system.

    Q: I just purchased the WEIGHT RELEASE CLEANSE AND REGIMEN and today is my first day. I'm unable to get through on our inquiry line. The diet isn't completely clear to me. Although it says miso soup is ok, I'm unclear on other things. For instance, is tofu ok? What about hummus? What do sprouted grains consist of?     Q: Truth indeed. I just finished watching this youtube video, on mass control, fluoridation, and mercury poisoning. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?Feature=player_embedded). I wondered if there were any herbs, or natural rememdies that can counteract this? I am in my mid 30s, and feel as though I am going through alziehmers (growing forgetfulness, absent-mindedness, foggy thinking, ADHD, hypersensetivity to noises so as to find it almost impossible to concentrate).     Q: I have come across several sites that list quinoa as being in the fruit family but this is very confusing to me since it appears to be a grain. My husband uses it as rice and cereal substitute and I am just wondering if it is mucus forming.

    TECHNICALLY QUINOA IS A FRUIT BECAUSE YOU ARE CONSUMING THE SEEDS, BUT IT IS CONSIDERED A GRAIN. IT IS ALKALINE AND NOT MUCUS FORMING.

    Q: Hi, me again. (Just letting u know I really appreciate this site and the work Dherbs.com and the others are doing. hotep) I've heard over and over that there are worms and parasites visible to the human eye in all forms of meat and I wanted to know the process with which I could see these parasites. Also I asked before about starch in carbs and was wondering is it best to eliminate carbs completely, or just reduce, and also if eating whole wheat/whole grain.

    You don't have to eliminate anything completely, except for meat, dairy, and artificial salt and sugar. Just cut back on your carbs. Refined grains, such as breads, cereals, pastas, should be eliminated.

    Q: I am an underweight but healthy 26 year old female. I would like to maintain my weight and I use organic canned coconut milk in my grain hot cereal. Is canned organic coconut milk acidic? If so, what brands are alkaline?

    Anything canned is going to be acidic. What ever you use for make, let it be raw. Raw coconut milk fresh from the coconut is alkaline.

    Q: I read your article about FOLLICULITIS AND PSUEDO-FOLLICULTIS and hair bumps. In it you mentioned using Witch Hazel without alcohol. I haven't been able to find any witch hazel that doesn't have alcohol, however I went to a Wild Oats Market and they had all natural Witch Hazel that contains 10% all natural grain alcohol. It's made by Thayer. Is this okay? If not can you recommend or point me in the direction of some acceptable Witch Hazels?

    We suggest doing an intense search over the internet if your not able to find witch hazel without alcohol. The one by Thayer is acceptable. You also have the option of making a natural solution yourself using natural ingredients such as lemon juice or apple cider vinegar.

    Q: I'm currently on day 3 of the FULL BODY DETOX and would like to know what exactly I can eat. I've only had water, tea, and oranges for breakfast, salads for lunch and dinner with a few cashew nuts in between. I would like to know exactly what you mean by combining foods together. Example, oranges and apples, are you saying they're not to be eaten together? If not, why?

    The ALTERNATIVE DIET AND LIFESTYLES MANUAL list great food alternatives during the detox. Food combining means do not eat foods not in the same category. Don't mix an acid fruit with a melon fruit. Don't mix fruit with vegetables. Don't mix acid fruit with sweet fruit, etc. Eat sweet fruit with other sweet fruit. Eat sub-acid fruit with sub-acid fruit. You wouldn't eat an orange (acid fruit) with an apple (sub-acid fruit). They are not in the same family.

    Q: I just receive my order yesterday (9/15/08) I started today which is 9/16/08. I know I can drink green tea but can I put splenda in it or do I have to drink it plain? I know I can eat fruit in the morning for breakfast can it be like 2 oranges and that's all?

    Splenda is not to be consumed while on the cleanses. It's an artificial sugar that isn't good for the body. The only sweeteners that you can consume are stevia. maple syrup grade b and agave nectar. You can eat as much fruit as you want when you want.

    Q: After being diagnosed with Scleroderma 20 years ago. I began to get pains in my stomach, more like a ball rising up on both sides. This was extremely painful. I have to sit still, until the pain leaves. It feels like I am a pregnant, and the baby is moving. For the past 4 years I've been having fruit smoothies for breakfast.     What type of fruit smoothies are you having? If your smoothies consist of only fruits then no. The fruit smoothies have nothing to do with what's going on inside your body. You might just be in need of a good cleanse. Eat only when you are hungry. Try not to over eat or drink your fruit smoothies, yes they are good for you but only eat what your stomach is asking for.     Q: What's the best way to start on a vegan/raw food diet?     If I do say myself, the best way to start a raw food diet is to be coached by me.     Here are some other tips to get started.

    1: Join a raw food meetup group or community. Surround yourself with supportive people who can point you in the right direction. Try meetup.org or 30bananasaday.com 

    2: Read books like "beauty detox solution" by snyder, "80/10/10" by Dr. Graham., or "The Paradigm diet" by Adam Dave

    3: Start simple with breakfast. Always start your day with a green smoothie. read "Green smoothie revolution" by forget authors name at the moment. heh.

    A sample meal plan would be.

    Breakfast: Green smoothie

    Bridge: raw bar, handful of nuts or seeds, or fruit

    Lunch: Raw wraps made from collard greens. use a base of tahini, hummus, or nut butter. Fill with sprouts and colorful veggies

    Bridge: raw bar, handful nuts or seeds, or fruit

    Dinner: Raw pasta with a large salad

    Snack: Sorbet

    Q: I have incorporated fish into my diet because I have been craving. Is moderation okay.... meaning my fruits for breakfast a regular lunch with salad and a salad for dinner okay to pretty much moderate other foods? It is challenging for me to become a vegan. Do you have any suggestions on how to still eat healthy to maintain an alkalized body with certain foods with moderation that are not raw? I still drink my green veggies at least twice a day. I am praying that my results will be negative.
