A: Unfortunately you cannot consume any pre-made store juices or smoothies. Those kind of beverages contain preservatives and additives to help sustain shelf life and is also pasteurized (processed foods).
Q: I just started the Full Body Cleanse today! I reviewed the recipe section for ideas but I'm either allergic to the fruit or don't care for the vegetable. Based upon the Full Cleanse process, are there any other food combination or recipes I can do? I made the veggie shake but it was 'spicy' not sure why? Is there anything else I can add? Could you explain a little further? What do you mean by allergic to the fruit? Do you have certain fruit allergies or getting a reaction to the fruit?

A: We don't recommend consuming foods that are frozen or canned. Consuming fresh foods is always best as you're only consuming foods that are alive and provide your body with a benefit. There's no way of knowing the quality or state of the foods before its frozen or canned.

Green leafy veggies may be combined with fruit-veggies (cucumbers and tomotoes). Fruit-veggies are really fruit. You can always tell because of the seeds. Technically, anything that contains seeds is a fruit!

Ideally, to make a smoothie, use a base (some kind of fruit juice, water, or nut milk), add some frozen fruit or non-frozen fruit (your favorite fruit), add a little ice and BLEND (for about 1 minute)! Wa la ... you have a fruit smoothie!
Q: I recently completed the Full Body Detox, which I loved. Now, 2 months later, I am very interested in the weight release program. Last year, I lost 40 lbs in 8 months, in the most healthy way (good nutrition and exercise). This year, I slowly started gaining weight back, and 1 year later, I continue to gain weight much more quickly. I am still working out regularly, and eating well. Would you recommend the Weight Release Kit? I am looking to take off 20 lbs at the most. Is that realistic for this formula? However, I want to build muscle and strength as well. Can I maintain the results of the program with the directed nutrition plan, and add white meat for protein (chicken, turkey, tuna). Unfortunately you cannot use either milk for a smoothie as you are not allowed to consume any dairy. Soy is not a natural food and most store brought almond milk is pasteurized and contains preservatives that helps maintain shelf life. You can consume almond milk if it's homemade. The food combining chart is a suggestion for "optimal" digestion. It suggests we should eat mono meals optimally. This is often impossible and there is no evidence scientifically for this method. I am not sure how it would be studied anyway.
It is considered best to try to adhere to the rules to the best of your ability. However, mixing fruits and veggies as in a green smoothie is absolutely fine. The benefits of the nutrition you receive will out weigh any digestive disturbance that may occur. Feel safe to have green smoothies in your diet and cleanse.
