Q: I am interested in starting the Full Body Detox program. At this time, I would like to know which program is best for me. At current, I have started removing things from my diet as of 2 weeks ago (pork, chicken, red meat, I'm trying with the fish but it's hard!) I am not eating cheese but I still eat yogurt and every now and then I will eat a boiled egg (egg whites). I have removed soda from my diet, no coffee, I drink herbal or green tea, pomegranate juice or orange juice and I drink filtered water (I have a countertop filter that I change every 6 months and the Brita pitcher that I change every 2 months). Along with the supplement, is there an eating plan that you can suggest for me? I am eating more fruits and vegetables, but I would welcome suggestions on certain foods that I can eat while I begin my cleansing.

    A:

The Full Body Detox kit comes with a prescribed dietary plan and notifies a person what they can and cannot eat during the detox.

Q: Hello, I purchased the Detox kit and planned on starting it Feb 1st, but I learned that I will need to have my wisdom teeth extracted in Feb. They will be putting me under for the procedure and probably prescribe pain medication after, my question is,"Shall I wait to start the Detox till after the procedure & medication or is it ok if I am on the Detox and given anesthesia and pain medication?? Will this defeat the purpose of the Detox?

    A:

For best results, you should wait until after the dental procedure to start the cleanse.

Q: I have a question. My son is 16 and got him detox just 2 days ago. He hasn't started it because he cannot do with school so I told him to wait for vacation and then start because he cannot handle the food diet. anyway, we are vegetarians, and was wondering if he has bad acne, would just the blood and lymph formula work for now until we start detox to take care of his acne. I also ordered that but thought I will start after the detox and he wants to clear his face sooner and detox with diet is impossible at that age and being in school unless he does not follow the diet? What do you think? Can you let me know? Please thanks.

    A:

Just do the BLOOD AND LYMPHATIC FORMULA for now until he can FULL BODY DETOX and do the diet. Just do what you can do diet-wise given the circumstances. An "ACNE" article is coming very soon! Stay tuned to Dherbs.Com!

Q: I am starting to look at alternative medicines and food choices very seriously now, in fact I recently wrote a research paper on the subject, while reading your article you mentioned Dr Hulda Clark, I goggled her name and got some good and bad reviews. One article in particular caught my attention. If you could would you please read this article and give me your feedback. I am really interested in alternative medicine and I want to teach my kids about the options that they have. I am currently putting together a binder for my kids with things I have read about alternative medicines, detox, the harm that cooked foods(meats in particular) have on the body etc. This article bothered me and before I include any information on treatment from her clinic I wanted some feedback on this article.

    A:

Hulda offers some very good information but she's a bit extreme in my opinion and she relies too much on gadgets for healing rather than the mind, diet, attitude, lifestyle, etc. The choice is up to you, Beloved, whether to include her clinic! From the article, Hulda's clinic looks very frightening! I probably wouldn't include it!

Q: I am starting the FULL BODY DETOX and have some dental work scheduled that requires Novocain. Should I postpone the procedure until I fully complete the Detox?

    A:

It would be best to get the dentistry work done and then perform the FULL BODY DETOX to wash the toxins out of your body.

Q: I read the food chart for the FULL BODY DETOX. Is it ok to eat the cream of wheat while detoxing? I'm confused because on the food chart it mentioned alot of different foods, but it tell you the best thing to do is a all raw food diet such as salads and fruit, smoothies... I also plan to do the ANTI-VIRAL CLEANSE AND REGIMEN right after the FULL BODY DETOX and that requires a all raw food diet as well. So that means 2 months of strictly raw foods right? :( Its tough but I am determined too get rid of this hsv1 & hsv 2

    A:

I suggest you read the article â€WHAT IS RAW FOODS†as it will help you to understand what to eat and what not to eat on the FULL BODY DETOX. Yes, all raw foods for 2 months (to the best of your ability, Beloved). YOU CAN DO IT, BELOVED! Did you read our "GENITAL HERPES" article?

Q: I am on day 5 of the FULL BODY DETOX. I have severe eczema and I re-read the instructions last night. After steaming am I to use food grade hydrogen peroxide on my face or regular store bought hydrogen peroxide? Should I expect it to burn? Also, I haven't been putting on lotion because the lotions in my house have lots of chemicals. I tried Olive Oil but it makes me itch. Do you have any suggestions for a natural moisturizer?

    A:

Don't use hydrogen peroxide daily. When you do use it, pat it on your face with a cotton ball. Use it ever other day, not daily. Use 3% HP not 35% food grade! 35% FGHP will burn your face.

Q: I'm in the process of starting the Full Body Detox , My concern is that I noticed formula #6 contains Senna leaves and I experienced severe cramping and nausea when using any products with Senna. Should I omit formula #6 altogether or try formula #6 and see if my reaction is different?

    A:

Senna will not be a problem in our formula.

Q: I know 2 people that have used the full body cleanse and the Anti Viral Kit and are now herpes free. I have recently purchased the Full Body Cleanse as well as the Anti Viral Kit. I started the Full Body Cleanse 2 days ago and I am already starting to have a breakout. Actually it is only my second outbreak ever (I had my first 4 months ago). Is it normal to have an outbreak during the detox this quick? My next question, your food guide says that you can eat raw food only during the detox. Would it be unacceptable to eat sashimi while taking the kit?

    A:

Breakout means healing! The body is discharging via the skin, the largest channel of elimination. Keep up with the cleanse to achieve best results.

Sashimi is not permitted in a raw foods diet, as it is fish. Read the article WHAT IS RAW FOODS on our site under ARTICLES.

Additional food recipes are listed in our Alternative Diet and Lifestyle Manual.

Q: Today is day 14 of my FULL BODY DETOX Journey. About 70% of my upper body is covered in red, painful eczema. I have been taking the sea salt baths but the peroxide on my face stings so I haven't continued doing it. I am trying to stay positive on this journey amidst the difficulty of walking around with red rashly peeling skin and painful, uncomfortable nights. I’m wondering where I go from here. I have 3 colonics line up this week and am trying to be even more diligent and have added wheatgrass and some flax evening primrose to my regimen. Should I expect that on my last day of this detox I will be covered in eczema and upon finishing the herbs it will go away? I just want to set realistic expectations for once the process is complete. I plan on maintaining a primarily fruit and vegetable diet after this and continuing with the juicing, etc. Is the detox process one where you go until the symptoms go away? meaning should I purchase another kit and continue instead of stopping at the 20 day mark? or is there a more mild method that I can use after the detox is complete?

    A:

Healing takes time so please take things one day at a time, Beloved! Live in the moment! Don't worry about the future and future outcomes! Live in the day (today)! If the peroxide burns stop using it. Have you tried the HEALING SKIN OIL, Beloved? No matter how frustrating, STAY POSITIVE! There is great wisdom in pain and irritation! Expectations? get rid of them because if you don't get what you expect you will be disappointed. Detox and then take a brief break and just rely on food. After you detox (FBD) try the 10-DAY ELECTRIC GREENS CELL FOOD CLEANSEand perform it 2-4 times straight if you can afford it. Have you read our â€ECZEMA†article? Don't forget to drink plenty of vegetable juice!

Q: I am currently on my second week of the Full Body Detox. My diet has been according to the food combination chart. I must admit, I cheated twice, not with red meat or pork, with chicken and fish. Anyway, lately my urine has a real funny smell. What is your opinion about this?

    A:

Smelly urine is a part of the cleansing process. Nothing to be alarmed about!

Q: I was actually interested in using the FULL BODY DETOX, I know that it comes with a nutritional guide but I wanted to know if it would work if I did not follow a vegan diet. I do not consume a lot of fast food which I am willing to easily give up but I wanted to know how it could work on a moderate none vegetarian diet.

    A:

The RAW FOODS diet is 50% of the FULL BODY DETOX! It won't work without following the diet!

Q: My wife and I started your Full Body Detox 9 days ago. Things are going well but in reference to the "raw food" diet we have gone a few times to some raw food restaurants such as Leaf & Raw. Are they O.K.? Secondly, are there some nuts to stay away from and is there a limit to how much you should consume?

    A:

Raw food restaurants sell RAW FOODS. That's recommended during the Full Body Detox. No problem here! Read our article WHAT IS RAW FOODS. The only nuts you might want to stay away from are peanuts. Glad to hear the detox I going swell!

Q: I would like to try your full body detox system, but wondered if it was something I needed to do at home due to the possibility of frequent trips to the bathroom. In short does this process cause diarrhea? What should I expect?

    A:

RESPONSE: Will I Be Using the Bathroom (Defecating/Urinating) Throughout the Day? Answer: No! Herbal formulas that stimulate peristalsis (bowel movement)are usually the last formulas of the day that you will take during any one of our cleanses, be it FULL BODY DETOX, WEIGHT RELEASE CLEANSE AND REGIMEN, ANTI-VIRAL CLEANSE AND REGIMEN, TOTAL WOMAN CLEANSE, TOTAL MALE CLEANSE, FERTILITY CLEANSE , FIBRIOD BUSTER CLEANSE AND REGIME, etc. Will I Have to Stay Near a Restroom While Detoxing or Performing One of the Other Kits? Answer: Of course not! The formulas responsible for elimination via urination and defecation are the ones you’ll take late in the evening while you’re at home, or if you work nights, they are formulas you’ll take upon soon getting home. What Can I Expect While on the Cleanse? Answer: You can expect benefit! Many things can happen. Go into your cleanse thinking positive things and you will attract positive things and a positive result.

Q: Can you give me more examples of a raw diet ? I am starting the Full Body Cleanse and right now I'm thinking only of salads fruits and veggies. But I don't know if these above examples will keep me full and satisfied for three weeks. I just invested in a juicer and a new blender.

    A:

A typical detox raw food program looks like this

    Breakfast:

Green smoothie: 1 1/2- 2 cups water / 1 cup greens / 3-5 medium pieces of fruit blended.

(see "Green Smoothie Revolution" Boutenko for more info)

    Bridge: 2-3 medium sized fruits

    Lunch:

Raw Wraps: collard greens as wraps/ tomato, cucumber, bell pepper / fresh herbs / Sauce (salsa/tahini/guacamole/ etc))

    Bridge:2-3 medium pieces of fruit

    Dinner:

Raw pasta: Zuchini sliced with a potato peeler / veggies / Homemade pasta sauce made in blender

Snack: Sorbet: Blended frozen fruit in a blender

Q: I’m wondering about your 20 day raw food diet, are you saying no cooked veggies at all. (I have a form of PARKINSON; I'm interested in trying your recommended raw food diet for 20 days) Please answer this question as soon as possible, thanks.

    No cooked veggies at all!

Q: I'm only on the 4th day of the FULL BODY DETOX, but my sciatic nerve is really bothering me (and it was prior to me starting the detox as well), and my energy level (especially here at work) is still pretty much dragging. I know that you do not advise taking any of your other herbs while doing the detox, so do you have any suggestions for the relief of my sciatic nerve and fatigue situation?

    A:

You could drink herbal tea during the Detox. Just don't take solid things (herbs, supplements). Try the HEADACHES TEA! Drink a few cups per day! If your sciatic nerve is bothering you while cleansing it's because the nerve is being worked on by the herbs. Let the herbs do its job. The pain won't last long. You did something in the past that brought you pleasure but damaged the nerve so now you're experiencing the flip side (pain) on your way back to balance.

Q: What's the best way to start on a vegan/raw food diet? I am not sure what to eat to make sure I would get a nutritious diet-you may not be able to go into that much detail but how can I get sample meal plans for breakfast, lunch and dinner incorporating this type of diet-perhaps there is somewhere on the web I find something like this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    A:

If I do say myself, the best way to start a raw food diet is to be coached by me. I run a 6 month health coaching program that is 60-90 percent raw and 100 percent vegan/gluten free/ allergy free. You can find out more about my program at www.theveganeffect.com. I am running a special of half off my program if you sign up before march 1st.

Here are some other tips to get started.

1: Join a raw food meetup group or community. Surround yourself with supportive people who can point you in the right direction. Try meetup.org or 30bananasaday.com

2: Read books like "beauty detox solution" by snyder, "80/10/10" by Dr. Graham., or "The Paradigm diet" by Adam Dave

3: Start simple with breakfast. Always start your day with a green smoothie. read "Green smoothie revolution" by forget authors name at the moment. heh.

A sample meal plan would be.

    Breakfast: Green smoothie

Bridge: raw bar, handful of nuts or seeds, or fruit

Lunch: Raw wraps made from collard greens. use a base of tahini, hummus, or nut butter. Fill with sprouts and colorful veggies

Bridge: raw bar, handful nuts or seeds, or fruit

Dinner: Raw pasta with a large salad

    Snack: Sorbet

    Hope that answers your question,

Q: First, I want to thank you for your time the other evening. Your information was very informative and helpful. Next, I have a few questions pertaining to the detox and the other services you provide. 1. Will going from a traditional American diet to a raw food diet cause my body to become ill in the beginning or go into "shock" from all the good foods I'll be eating? If so, is there any way to ease in to this plan?

A: While your body may experience a change as a result of the raw foods diet, you will not experience any adverse symptoms. Our products are 100% all-natural and only enhance your body.

Q: Is necessary to continue food combining after completing FULL BODY DETOX in 20 Days? For example can you consume sweet fruit with sub acid & acid fruit also starches and vegetable (beans) proteins together? I learned in Nutrition that starches (rice) and beans are complete protein when combined together that our body needs. Are you at risk for protein deficiency if consuming vegan diet?

    A:

IT'S YOUR CHOICE! OF COURSE IT'S BEST TO CONTINUE TO DO SO. IT'S UP TO YOU, BELOVED! I PERSONALLY DON'T RECOMMEND IT. NOT TRUE! YOU CAN'T GET PROTEIN FROM COOKED FOODS REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE FOOD IS. OF COURSE NOT, UNLESS YOU ARE IGNORANT TO PROTEIN, REAL PROTEIN, HOW AND WHERE TO GET IT.
