Q: I’m wondering about your 20 day raw food diet, are you saying no cooked veggies at all. (I have a form of PARKINSON; I'm interested in trying your recommended raw food diet for 20 days) Please answer this question as soon as possible, thanks.
No cooked veggies at all!
Q: How can I make the transition from cooked food, to raw food? Do you have any raw recipes for children? How can I get kids to eat raw?
Children do as you do, so let the child see you eating raw food as well. Fruits are the best raw foods to eat, as they are naturally sweet. Purchase "Alternative Diet and Lifestyle Manual", for the numerous raw food resources to assist you in this transition.

Q: My sugar cravings are out of this world. I am not diabetic but have terrible sugar bouts. I have recently bought the sugar control. The bottle says 3 pills a day. Can I take 3 pills several times a day since my sugar cravings are so bad?
You may take your Sugar Control Formula, up to 3 times a day, with each meal!
Q: I want to start the raw food diet, but do not want to lose weight has i am under weight already. I need tips to gain or at least maintain my weight. I do lift weights as part of my exercise routine.
Thanks for the question,
Losing "weight" on a raw foods diet is a definite probability. But the weight might be excess fat and water retention due to detoxing. By weight I am assuming you are talking about muscle. It is not that complicated to keep muscle while on a raw food diet. The Vegan Effect diet program I created is 60-90 percent raw. Raw before dinner if that helps. I allow myself one cooked meal a day. For the most part the diet is a Low fat/high carb/high fruit/high alkaline diet.
The most important thing to remember is getting enough calories. My athletes (including raw body builders) typically eat 1000 calories of fruit for breakfast in the form of a green smoothie. Usually post workout. You need to eat roughly 3000 calories to maintain or grow muscle mass. Some of my mass building athletes eat as much as 5000 calories. Albeit at a higher fat ratio than our standard 70/10/20 carb/fat/protein ratios.
Please refer to my blog on building muscle ona vegan diet found here: http://the-vegan-effect.healthcoach1.integrativenutrition.com/blog/2012/05/building-muscle-on-vegan-diet
There is a raw organic food bar with 22 grams of protien that can be found here http://www.organicfoodbar.com/products/. *Note: I am not affiliated with them nor do I sell any supplements*. It is however a great bridge to meals.
Besides getting enough calories make sure you are getting around 20 grams of protein 5 times a day to maintain muscle mass. Sprouting beans, nut butters, seeds, and nuts help.
I run a 6 month online health coahcing program that includes lessons on sports nutrition and include a individualized fitness plan. I am currently running a ridiculous half off special to fill spots. If you are interested visit www.theveganeffect.com and contact me there.
Hope this helps

Q: I was diagnosed with Raynauds--circulcation in the tips of my fingers. When it is cold my blood vessels constrict causing the tips of my fingers to turn purple and sometimes oftentimes develops painful ulcers. What do you recommend?
Q: It's been 2 weeks now since, I started eating exclusively raw. I'm even baking whole wheat bread in the sun. This was a great substitute for the cooked rice I used to eat. I'm also eating quite a large amount of grapes (red and white), as my body seems to ask for it. But recently, I noticed that my heart is beating quite strongly, and I find difficulty to bear the hot weather as a consequence. Also, I noticed a white pimple on the tip of my tongue, and this was a confirmation that there was maybe too much stimulating energy in the heart (according to oriental diagnosis of the tongue). When I eat sun baked bread, I automatically feel heat in the body. So I'm wondering if this is a good food to continue with or not. Isn't it more "neutral" (in terms of energy) to include a small portion of cooked brown rice along with the raw regimen? Just want remind you of my health issue: HPV and bacteria in the urinary tract.
Greetings! No need to feel helpless. Feeling is very powerful and you will attract more of what you are feeling if you don't control your feeling. Please consider ordering and READING (digesting) our "Mental Science Manual" and "The Love Manual" e-books. If you had sex with the guy who cheated on you, you ignited stored residual feelings from the initial violation of your trust. Forgive yourself (and him) and move on. Okay, as far as the sun baked bread, LISTEN to your body. If you're feeling heat, it's stimulating. Cut back on eating this bread. Go back to a little brown or wild rice (very balancing). Remember to detoxify your body periodically! Full Body Detox and Anti-Viral Formula.
Q: How do you feel about Stevia? Is it safe to have on a daily basis? I bought Stevia (in tea form). The box says it is a premium quality stevia. I seem to have terrible sweet cravings. (I am not diabetic). This is why I bought Stevia. Do you offer supplements to help one with sweet cravings?
Stevia is one of the few sweeteners (along with Agave and Grade B Maple Syrup) that are allowed.
If you would like to further address your sweet cravings, try Sugar Control Formula.
Q: I would like to know your views on consumption freshly slaughtered meat or fish cooked but eaten only with red chillies stews and host of spinaches and vegetables, thanks a lot, also I will like to say that your website has been a blessing to me thanks.
A: We encourage a RAW FOODS diet, as eating nutrient-dense raw fruits and vegetables provide an array of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, fiber, and phytonutrients that help your body perform optimally.
Q: I have a limited budget. What is the best project to lose weight and to stop junk food cravings? Thanks for your help
I'm going to be honest with you: you can't have a poverty consciousness when it's time to heal. There is no cheap way! You must pay to play and stay in this world. You should save up the $127.50 so as to give your body what it needs theFULL BODY DETOX. If you had to take anything as an individual formula, I'd say purchase the BOWEL MOVER.
Q: I am starting to look at alternative medicines and food choices very seriously now, in fact I recently wrote a research paper on the subject, while reading your article you mentioned Dr Hulda Clark, I goggled her name and got some good and bad reviews. One article in particular caught my attention. If you could would you please read this article and give me your feedback. I am really interested in alternative medicine and I want to teach my kids about the options that they have. I am currently putting together a binder for my kids with things I have read about alternative medicines, detox, the harm that cooked foods(meats in particular) have on the body etc. This article bothered me and before I include any information on treatment from her clinic I wanted some feedback on this article.
Hulda offers some very good information but she's a bit extreme in my opinion and she relies too much on gadgets for healing rather than the mind, diet, attitude, lifestyle, etc. The choice is up to you, Beloved, whether to include her clinic! From the article, Hulda's clinic looks very frightening! I probably wouldn't include it!
Q: My Doctor wants me to start using the Cholesterol medication, Zocor. He says my high cholesterol is due to genetics. I'm not crazy about the idea of using this medication that he says may affect my liver. I've tried lowering the 'bad' cholesterol with diet and exercise. What are my natural food options? Thanks! After you do the full body detox and want to pursue other cleanses do you have to stay on a raw diet. Can you eat cooked beans or the herbs won’t be as effective? I’m a college student and I need food for thought and sometimes things aren’t accessible.
I'd recommend you start taking CHOLESTEROL BUSTER, ELECTRIC GREENS CELL FOOD, and INTESTINAL JANITOR (Fiber). Food-wise, all fruits and vegetables will help lower your cholesterol levels. Avoid meat and dairy products if your cholesterol levels are high.
Q: How often do you use the FULL BODY DETOX? Why no meat and cooked foods.
It's ideal to detox every seasonal change (every 3 months). Meat and cooked foods pollute the body so we advise not to eat them while UN-polluting the body.
Q: Truth indeed. I just finished watching this youtube video, on mass control, fluoridation, and mercury poisoning. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?Feature=player_embedded). I wondered if there were any herbs, or natural rememdies that can counteract this? I am in my mid 30s, and feel as though I am going through alziehmers (growing forgetfulness, absent-mindedness, foggy thinking, ADHD, hypersensetivity to noises so as to find it almost impossible to concentrate). I have my "Back to Eden" Book, I will continue digging for answers there too.
Don't look for answers or solutions primarily from sources outside of the body. There are herbs, but first use your mind. Mental healing! will your healing into fruition. Good herbs that will assist include Gingko Biloba, Ginseng (all types), and Gotu Kola. Dherbs.com Brain Tuner, CNS, and Ethereal Bliss are also helpful for your condition.
Q: What are some tips and healthy foods and supplements for pregnant women? and what are good exercises that are simple? (I just want a healthy, beautiful baby)
Q: What organic shampoo and conditioner would you recommend using? Also, while detoxing, is Navy beans an acceptable food to eat if I want something cooked or does it cause mucus? Is it really a nutritional bean?
Aubrey Organic is a good brand of shampoo and conditioner.
You may eat navy beans but they are mucus forming despite a few nutritional benefits.
Q: I started the full body detox today, and found that I DO NOT like the salad dressing I made with the olive oil, apple cider vinegar and lemon juice. I found I could not tolerate it on my salad. What can I do instead? Another question is... I noticed lentils on the food combining chart. Those have to be cooked. Are those actually allowed to be consumed warm? I love the raw fruits and vegetables. I don?t have a problem, cause I love salads. I just need help on what I can have on it.
Check out our website for raw salad dressing recipes. You are bound to find one you like.
As for lentils, you are NOT allowed to have them while on the cleanse.
Q: What happens when you eat cooked foods on the Full Body Cleanse? It will be very difficult for me to do this for 20 days as I do not frequently eat raw foods.
Cooked foods slow down the healing process. When you eat cooked foods it taxes your imune system and forces your body to work harder digesting and spend less time cleaning.
That being said. Here are some quick tips to eating more raw foods.
Fruit smoothies or green smoothies are perfect in a pinch. The travel well and can be really filling. here is how to make a smoothie.
Liquid: 1-2 cups water
Base: Bananas 2-6 or 6-8 dates
Antioxidant: cup of berries
(Optional)Greens: cup of baby spinach or other greens
Large salads with sprouted grains or legumes
Always keep fruit on hand (natures fast food) Non sulfured dried fruits work as well.
Hope this helps,

Q: I just purchased the FULL BODY DETOX and I have a question. I work a full time job (office work) and a part time job (cleaning). I'm worried if I will be able to work while doing the detox, I also workout (weight lifting) and with eating raw foods and no cooked food, I'm wondering if I will make it the 3 weeks doing this. I want to detox my body but I'm wondering if I can eat anything else (fish, chicken, baked of course). Can you give me some suggestions on what I can do or do you think I can do my normal things and still be on the detox?
The human mind can make or break you based upon its conditioning! Just take the cleanse one day at a time and FIND OUT for yourself what the reactions will be. You're all in the future worrying! One day at a time! One day at a time! Take things one day at a time. Read the article â€WHAT IS RAW FOODS†because you're asking about cooked foods and prohibited foods (animal flesh) which the kit clearly states should be avoided for 3-weeks. Always THINK positive in life about everything. Your thoughts create your reality!
Q: After I finish the Full Body Cleanse, and the Anti Viral Cleanse for HSV, will I have to follow a RAW diet forever? I want to go back to my normal (healthy but cooked) food diet, which will still include a substantial amount of raw foods.
Of course you don't have to eat RAW forever, your diet plan sounds smart and wise!
Q: I just purchased the WEIGHT RELEASE CLEANSE AND REGIMEN and today is my first day. I'm unable to get through on our inquiry line. The diet isn't completely clear to me. Although it says miso soup is ok, I'm unclear on other things. For instance, is tofu ok? What about hummus? What do sprouted grains consist of? Would Eziekial sprouted grain breads and tortillas be ok? The miso soup is the exception to the dietary rule! NO tofu, NO Ezekiel grain breads (no processed grains at all). Sprouted grains are grains (or seeds) soaked in water overnight and consumed. They are not cooked! Hummus is okay (as it's not cooked).
