Q: I have been diagnosed with prostate cancer - I was advised that I should receive a therapy called HIUF High Intensity Ultrasound Frequency - There is a company in Germany that uses this treatment for Prostate Cancer - They have a 98.0% success rate with their method...Have you ever heard of such a treatment. - The one thing that interested me is that it is not chemo or radiation... There is another one called Proton Therapy... What do you know about these treatments?
These therapies are new and better/safer than chemo and radiation but remember, no therapy can undo bad diet, unhealthy lifestyle, and unhealthy/negative thinking. If you undergo the therapies, don't forget that disease conveys a message to you to change your life to the better. You did something to harm your prostate and no therapy can undo this fact! We have an article "MALE PROSTATE HEALTH" you may find interesting. Herbally, you'd fare well from the FULL BODY DETOX followed by the TOTAL MALE CLEANSE.
Q: Hi, I am interested in your raw foods detox however, I am in the gym 6 days a week doing spinning, other cardio & weight training, will I be able to continue with my normal fitness routine during detox?
Hi Karen, Thanks for the question.
Detoxing and fitness.
The best way to detox your body is to give it the tools and time necessary to clean house. There are many types of detoxes and many avenues for fitness. The best way to detox is to rest the body while giving it the cleanest foods and herbs. However, some light forms of exercise like yoga, swimming, jogging, pilates are acceptable because they are light and won't require the amount of nutrients to repair and replenish. A raw food detox is sublime and is one fantastic step towards a healthier body and mind. I encourage you to try it.
What I would do is scale back on the exercise for the length of the detox and have fun! Go hiking and enjoy nature. A light jog instead of a spin class. I guarantee you will not lose strength or endurance during the detox. Intense exercise increases the bodies need for nutrients and protein.
Imagine if you will you have a desk at work. And work keeps piling up and no matter how you try to efficiently make it through you can't seem to get ahead. What detoxing is designed to do is give yourself the time to clean your desk. The most efficiently way for that to happen is to stop the work from coming in. Heavy exercise may increase your workload. You want your body to be in a cleaning mode and not a repair mode.
Again I would continue exercises that are light and stimulating. You want increased blood flow and you want to aid you lymph system to pump efficiently.
Lastly, if you are training for an event it may not be the best time to detox. Detoxing symptoms can throw you off your game. Best time to detox is the off season.
Hope this answers your question.

Q: Greetings & Namaste, First, thank you for being U-activated! So many potential energies unable to convert into kinetic activities because of our Earthly baggage(s). Personally, I haven't found the right formula to keep my beautiful curves, which is the major reason I am not vegan/raw now. In my perfect world, I'd have a great-tasting, non-dairy,wheat & gluten source of protein, juiced exotic veggie/fruit smoothies, yummy raw nuts/raisins, and absolutely no meat- the fountain of youth, literally, running thru my body! As i'm sure the cognitive wheels of your expertise are spiraling ready solutions, I ask that you also factor in social-economic status, and workout regiment. From my perspective, the price of health food is aggressively over-inflated compared to the affordability of processed and junk foods; add to that a general inaccessibility to the impoverished & disenfranchised, and dysfunctional eating psychologies impregnating entire families (for generations). I prefer high energy, high impact, anaerobic & weight-lifting training activities. So, you can see a petite person's dilemma. Thanks so much for your time and thoughts. Ms. Tiffany

Being raw or vegan does not have to be hard or expensive. The most inexpensive food are rice and beans. If you are budget consciense you should gravitate towards those foods. Stach based foods are super cheap. You should check out the book "eating vegan on 4 dollars a day" or any of Dr. Mcdougal's programs.
I run an online health/fitness/nutrition coaching program that can be found at www.theveganeffect.com. There you might find your answers.
Exercise programs do not have to be expensive either. I am a master at building fitness plans with the minimal of equipment. If all you have is your body weight than I can build you a 90 day plan. The same goes if all you have is a resistance band, exercise ball, dumbells, kettlebell, etc.
If you need any advice or have specific questions you should check out my website and message me there.

Q: I am on day 17 of the Full Body Detox. It has been wonderful, although I have slipped up and made some bad food choices I have been able to stick to eating salads and Fruit and nuts. I have lost 5 pounds overall. I have Cogan's Syndrome. I stopped taking my azathioprine, Iron pill, and fish oils while on the Detox. I feel great aside from my Tinnitus in my left ear is ringing tremendously loud. Other than that I feel great. My skin looks so much better. My prednisone steroid hump in my back has gone away. My teeth look whiter. My eyes are whiter. Blemishes are gone. I just don't know what to do after I am done with this detox. I know that I need to continue with this particular diet because it is good to & for me. I can do that, however I just don't want to have low iron, tinnitus, or vertigo spells. What would you recommend I take after the full body cleanse. My mother has seen a difference in me and so has my husband. I love this, I can't wait to see my rheumatologist so he can tell me that my Cogan's Syndrome is in remmission. What should I do next?
Thank you for sharing this with us. We're so happy to hear that the cleanse is going well for you. We suggest trying the Ear Oil to help bring relief from tinnitus. You can also try the Joint Aid and the MSM Sulfur to help specifically help address arthritis. If you're experiencing eye issues from Cogan's Syndrome we suggest using the Eye Formula. Continuing with a balanced diet is best as it is responsible for some of the success you were able to achieve with the cleanse. We suggest consuming two raw meals a day and one of your choice to help continue the healing process.

Q: I work out at the gym at 6am till 7:30am hard six days a week. Since I'm eating raw foods while detoxing, what will help me keep up that same intensity in the gym. Will protein bars or protein powder help? Maybe you can recommend something? Thank you!
Q: My Dad was recently diagnosed with diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol after suffering a mild stroke. What natural supplements/herbs would you suggest?
We highly recommend the Full Body Cleanse, followed by the Pancreas Kit. Both of these cleanses can benefit diabetes, stroke and high blood pressure. Individual herbs that should be taken after these cleanses/regimens include:

Sure! I'd recommend: High Blood Pressure: CARDIO-VASCULAR FORMULA and CIRCUL-AID FORMULA, High Cholesterol: CHOLESTEROL BUSTER and INTESTINAL JANITORIntestinal Janitor. However, it would be best to first perform the FULL BODY DETOX before taking these formulas.
Q: Truth indeed. I just finished watching this youtube video, on mass control, fluoridation, and mercury poisoning. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?Feature=player_embedded). I wondered if there were any herbs, or natural rememdies that can counteract this? I am in my mid 30s, and feel as though I am going through alziehmers (growing forgetfulness, absent-mindedness, foggy thinking, ADHD, hypersensetivity to noises so as to find it almost impossible to concentrate). I have my "Back to Eden" Book, I will continue digging for answers there too.
Don't look for answers or solutions primarily from sources outside of the body. There are herbs, but first use your mind. Mental healing! will your healing into fruition. Good herbs that will assist include Gingko Biloba, Ginseng (all types), and Gotu Kola. Dherbs.com Brain Tuner, CNS, and Ethereal Bliss are also helpful for your condition.
Q: What is the best supplement (protein or herbal) to take to help build muscle for strength training and bodybuilding? All these protein powders on the market I've stopped taking because of all the sugar, whey and casinete; among other weight (fat) inducing ingredients.
Try Vegan Protein on our site. It's all natural and 100% absorbable! You'll find it beneficial. There's a capsule and a powdered version. Take both if you're really into protein.
Spirulina is the BEST individual natural source of protein (75% bio-protein)!
Q: What are the best juices, nutrients and supplements for High Blood Pressure, Diabetes and High Cholesterol?
Please consult our articles on "HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE (HYPERTENSION)", "DIABETES", and "HIGH CHOLESTEROL" for recourse and remedy (which are listed near the bottom or end of the articles). Or, consult our "HERBAL CHART"!
Q: I have been diagnosis with high blood pressure, and I also retain a lot of fluid. My Doctor put me on a diuretic along with a pill for high blood pressure. What can I do to rid myself of this medication? How can I keep from retaining so much fluid?
Oh, that's real easy. Perform the FULL BODY DETOX and when you're done, take the following formulas: CARDIO-VASCULAR FORMULA, CIRCUL-AID FORMULA, KIDNEYS AND BLADDER and INTESTINAL JANITOR. Get off the salt to stop retaining fluid. Drink celery juice daily!
Q: Dear Dherbs.com, my mother is here visiting and she is diabetic and has high blood pressure. The high blood pressure medicine they switched to has made her very ill. Please help! I know if she detoxes all meds will be purged from her system and at this I am afraid she will fall deathly ill before the cleansing sets her system on the right track. I love my mother dearly and I am very afraid at this point. I am desperate for whatever advice and/or product you can offer. I am pulling her diet under control.

Q: I am in dire need of some help. My cardio crp came back high 6.2 last year. It was a 5.6, the highest it should be is 3.0. Now, they want to put me on drugs. This is something I dont believe in. I'm having very bad leg aches, and 10 years ago I contracted Hepatitis A. I would greatly appreciate any help on this matter. Can you can give me a recommendation?
You stated that are having issues with your cardio and liver (ie.,Hep A) functions along with some other things that are causing you to have pains in your legs. The issues that you are currently dealing with in your physical body can best be addressed by doing a Full Body Detox. I highly recommend this cleanse for people who are suffering from multiple sources of degeneration of the body. This is a complete cleanse for your body as a whole and will jump start you on a path to regaining your health. Let me also say, that pains in the body are signals that things are not well on a deeper level. And you must listen to your body and give it some relief from the things that you were doing to bring it to pain in the first place. Changes are necessary if your are to expect different results from your current situation. In addition to the Full Body Detox, I can also recommend our Headache and Pain Formula to help you deal with the pains you are having in your legs. You can find more detailed product information on the DHERBS.com website via Articles and Online Store. I hope these suggestions help you to make some good choices about what steps you can take to begin your journey of building your personal health!
