Your body does not like rapid changes in weight and will fight you along the way. These are called plateaus. It's too early to panic and by the time you get this email I am pretty sure your weight will have shifted again. You cannot spot lose weight. Your body picks and chooses where it gains weight and where it loses weight. sometimes they aren't the same places.
Working out always helps the process. Here is a blog I wrote, Three Successful Fitness Habits for Sustained Weight, on three successful habits for sustained weight loss.
Fitness for weight loss is interval cardio training and circuit weight training.
Example of both would be:
Interval training on bike.
3 minute warmup
30 seconds of high speed
1 minute of recovery
repeat for 15 minutes till 30 minutes.
Circuit training (five rounds-1 minute rest in between rounds)
Mountain climbers x 20
Pushups x 20
Squats x 20
Bent over rows x 15
Crunches x 25

A: You can still exercise while doing the cleanse, but we suggest only engaging in the light cardio instead of any intense workouts. Q: Three years ago I had a surgical procedure done to relieve an 8 - 9 erection. They cut me on both sides of my penis and told I never have another erection again. It's best to keep exercise to a minimum. When you exercise your body pulls blood away from your core and into your limbs (fight or flight response). That directs blood away from your healing response. Also high impact or weight training requires more calories and more protein which will over work the organs that should be using their energy healing.

Q: My friend is 34 and he has congestive heart failure. The doctor says his heart is bad, and he needs an LVAD- (left ventriclar assisted devise attached to his heart). He is curently taking the blood thinners lovenox and warfarin. He is a diabetic, and has high blood pressure. He has a mediport which include dovutamina, which helps the heart to pump. His heart is weak. His diet consist of meat and veggies. Should he have the lvad surgery which will lead to heart transplant? Should he keep his bad heart? Q: I have been dealing with a clogged milk duct, on my left areola. My 9 month old daughter, got a virus last Thursday, and was vomiting non stop for 3 hours. Mastitis, is inflammation of the breast. Inflammation is caused by mucus, and mucus is the result of an acidic body predicated upon an acidic diet. Being raw or vegan does not have to be hard or expensive. The most inexpensive food are rice and beans. If you are budget consciense you should gravitate towards those foods. Stach based foods are super cheap. You should check out the book "eating vegan on 4 dollars a day" or any of Dr. Mcdougal's programs.

Q: I am on my 3rd day of the fully body cleansing. I am definitely doing this to lose weight. I am a 52 year old, black, Christian, wife, mother to 21 and 14 year old girls, legal secretary who is 450 lbs. I am to the point now where if I don't do this I'm going to be housebound. I can barely move some days that is why I started this because I feel so unhealthy. I have a question about the nuts. I got all gun-ho and ordered $135.00 worth of organic nuts from nuts.com. I got raisins, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, walnuts, pecans, pistachios and cashews and mixed them all up together (well I purchased 2 lbs of each but I only mixed up 1 lb of each together). Anyway, I was reading about how much calories are in nuts. Should I not pay attention to that because I was consuming a lot of calories in the first place or do I have to watch how many nuts I eat? I have put some nuts in a sandwich bags and basically filled it up and that is supposed to be my nuts ration for the day. I am also eating fruits and vegetables. So far the fruit have been grapes, grapefruit, red apples, pears, green apples and bananas. The vegetables have all been in a salad: tomatoes, celery spinach leaves, carrots, mixed in balsamic vinaigrette. I only ate the salad Monday night all the other times I have just eaten the fruit and nuts. I am also consuming approximately 75-100 oz of water. Sorry I’m long winded I just wanted you to get the entire picture.

Nuts are best kept to a minimum if you use them at all. Nuts are extremely high in fat and have the opposite omega 3- omega 6 ratio that is optimal for health. Seeds are best as far as ratios are concerned. Also nuts are truly easy to over eat and cause your nutrient ratios to be off.
A healthy vegan diet is a high raw fruitarian diet.
Breakfast: green smoothie. (500-1000 calories of fruits blended with a handful of greens and water)
Bridge: Dates and strawberries (500 calories)
Lunch: Salad with low sugar fruits (cucumber, tomato, squash, bell peppers) topped with fruit, beans, psuedo grains,
Bridge: 2-3 apples
Dinner: Raw wraps (collard greens) with low sugar fruit and tahini
