Q: My king and I are vegans. We are interested in a Full Body Detox kit. Since we do not eat any type of poultry or meat, we didn't want anything that would be too harsh. Which kit do you recommend for vegans - the Full Body Detox, Parasite & Worm Kit or something else? What would you recommend for purifying the spiritual ka and physical bath?
I would recommend the FULL BODY DETOX hands down!
For purifying the spiritual ka I would use all 7 chakra elixirs and get chakra balancing performed or learn to do it yourself. Purifying physical ka: Full Body Detox, bathing in sea salt and essential oils, and some of the other things offered in the "Alternative Diet and Lifestyle Manual" and "Full Body Detox Companion."
Q: Do you know of any cookbooks or recipe books for Afrikan vegans?
Interesting you inquire because Dherbs.com is working on one that we just started compiling last week. Stay tuned! We hope to have it (e-book edition) completed within the next 3 months.
Thanks for the question Rick. Here are three ideal foods for those who weight train.
Oatmeal: 1/4 cup of oats yields 7-8 grams of protein. Imagine eating a whole cups worth. That's 28 grams!!! Now what if you soaked them in soy milk. Add another 8 grams. I usually do my oatmeal with soy milk, a tbsp. of ground seeds, tbsp. cinnamon, tsp. nutmeg, tbsp. maple syrup. The long burning starchy carbohydrates are perfect muscle building fuel! Also you get the anti-inflammatory spices that help recovery time and oxygenate the blood!
Spirulina: Spirulina is a superfood that boasts a large amount of amino acids that are hard to get in the plant world. Find a green powder with spirulina and watch the muscles grow! A greens powder is also alkaline and aids in recovery.
Tempeh: Tempeh is a fermented soy/rice product that is super nutrient/protein dense. 1 serving has 20 grams of protein in it! I would flash fry strips in coconut oil, season, and use as croutons in salad.
I hope those three options help you and feel free to ask any more questions you have. I am currently coaching raw vegan bodybuilders and other fitness athletes on my health coaching program. If that is something you are interested in and would like a free consultation with me just fill out the health history form found here. http://the-vegan-effect.healthcoach.integrativenutrition.com/forms. we will then set up a time when we can skype!

Q: Truth indeed. I just finished watching this youtube video, on mass control, fluoridation, and mercury poisoning. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?Feature=player_embedded). I wondered if there were any herbs, or natural rememdies that can counteract this? I am in my mid 30s, and feel as though I am going through alziehmers (growing forgetfulness, absent-mindedness, foggy thinking, ADHD, hypersensetivity to noises so as to find it almost impossible to concentrate). I have my "Back to Eden" Book, I will continue digging for answers there too.
Don't look for answers or solutions primarily from sources outside of the body. There are herbs, but first use your mind. Mental healing! will your healing into fruition. Good herbs that will assist include Gingko Biloba, Ginseng (all types), and Gotu Kola. Dherbs.com Brain Tuner, CNS, and Ethereal Bliss are also helpful for your condition.
Q: I have recently made the transformation to becoming a complete vegan. How can I determine what foods are for vegans?
Simple question to the self that you can always ask now as a vegan, "Is this product derived from an animal?", and you'll never go wrong as a vegan. Two good questions, to help you make your own decisions as a conscious consumer and vegan: Is it nautral (from the Earth/plant)? Is it from animal? Always ask yourself these 2 questions when in doubt!
Q: I see also that you recommend a complete diet with these programs. I am guessing its a vegan diet right? I wanted to ask something on that is coconut milk and coconut oils ok for that? I personally had a very hard time trying to eat that many vegetables and many ph balance vegans seem to think fruits aren?t good either. I eat that many vegetables one it tears me up the next day and two I just cant consume enough calories that way. I can try and make up for it by eating things like almonds but I eat to many almonds I get the same problem the next day. Now coconut milk (unsweetened) and a digestive enzyme works for me for picking up extra calories.... but I hear very conflicting information about coconut and its saturated fat content. Is it ok to use daily as a part of the diet for cleansing? And your oxy-drops are those the same as the drop for ph balancing water?? Or is it something different? I am wanting to start lifting weights as I need to put on some muscle and I?m wondering if its something that would be beneficial in combating muscle soreness by increased oxygen in the body.
The diet we recommend is vegan-based, and RAW FOODS. Fresh fruits, vegetables, raw nuts and seeds are ideal.
Coconut Milk and Coconut Oil are excellent products to have in your diet. The healthy fats will keep you fuller.
Oxy-Drops can help balance your electrolytes that need to be replenished after a workout in order to keep your body performing efficiently.
Q: How are you. I ran into your page on Youtube and subsequently did some research. Very Knowledgeable you are. I have problems with weight, stress, and erectile dysfunction. I work nights if I were to order your Full Body Detox does it need to be conducted in a different manner than someone who works at nights?
Basically, you would just reverse the times you take the formulas. Instead of starting at 7 a.m., you'd start at 7 p.m. (or whenever you start your day or night). Just flip flop the time schedule. Plenty of people do this, those that work night shifts.
Q: I really love what you're doing and you have a brilliant approach in getting the information out to the masses. I just finished watching your youtube footage. Very Nice! I am a Kung-Fu Martial Artist and I've been experiencing discomfort in my knees. I workout regularly. Is there any recommendation you could give me to quiet this discomfort and help restore my body, because my muscles are often sore.
Thank you for your acknowledgment, Beloved! Much obliged! Metaphysics: Emotionally, the knees (knee pain) refelcts inflexibility in your perception of the future. It occurs more often in those with an arrogant or stubborn personality, who are unable to bend to new ideas or to the ideas of others. Physical: Knee pain denotes inflammation and should be treated immediately. I recommend Dherbs.Com HEADACHE AND PAIN FORMULA, JOINT FORMULA, ACID BUSTER, MSM SULFUR, and ENZYMES FORMULA. Rub a natural salve product on your knees too (or essential oil of Eucalyptus and Peppermint). Rub knees daily with these oils. Apply olive oil on the knees first before you rub in these 2 oils.
Q: HELP, WHAT CAN I DO? WHEN MY DAUGHTER GETS A MOSQUITO BITE- SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE HAS FALLEN OFF OF SOMETHING FAR FROM THE GROUND! THE WHOLE AREA SWELLS, ITCHES, FORMS A KNOT, THEN A SORE AND FINALLY 3 TO 4 DAYS LATER IF NOT MORE IT GOES AWAY. SOMETIMES IT LEAVES A SCAR SOMETIMES IT DOESNT. IT IS JUST HORRIBLE TO WATCH. SHE HAS ONE OVER HER EYE NOW, IT REMINDS YOU OF HOW A BOXER LOOKS!! SERIOUSLY. AN ONION COMPRESS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN USING. HELP! THANKS IN ADVANCE. SHE IS ONLY 18 MONTHS OLD.
Apply Bentonite clay to the injured area and it will extract the poison from the bite. Bentonite Clay is good stuff! Let clay stay on and harden for 15 minutes and then remove (wash off with wet cloth or towel).
Q: I am on my 3rd day of the fully body cleansing. I am definitely doing this to lose weight. I am a 52 year old, black, Christian, wife, mother to 21 and 14 year old girls, legal secretary who is 450 lbs. I am to the point now where if I don't do this I'm going to be housebound. I can barely move some days that is why I started this because I feel so unhealthy. I have a question about the nuts. I got all gun-ho and ordered $135.00 worth of organic nuts from nuts.com. I got raisins, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, walnuts, pecans, pistachios and cashews and mixed them all up together (well I purchased 2 lbs of each but I only mixed up 1 lb of each together). Anyway, I was reading about how much calories are in nuts. Should I not pay attention to that because I was consuming a lot of calories in the first place or do I have to watch how many nuts I eat? I have put some nuts in a sandwich bags and basically filled it up and that is supposed to be my nuts ration for the day. I am also eating fruits and vegetables. So far the fruit have been grapes, grapefruit, red apples, pears, green apples and bananas. The vegetables have all been in a salad: tomatoes, celery spinach leaves, carrots, mixed in balsamic vinaigrette. I only ate the salad Monday night all the other times I have just eaten the fruit and nuts. I am also consuming approximately 75-100 oz of water. Sorry I’m long winded I just wanted you to get the entire picture.
Thanks for the question, I can definitely help you.
I am currently writing an eBook for www.dherbs.com called "Losing weight the healthy way." I have been a weight loss counselor for many years. I am also a health coach, personal trainer, bodymind nutritionist, and a vegan lifestyle coach.
When it comes to weight loss most programs want you to lose weight to get healthy. My mindset is to get healthy and lose weight.
In my health/fitness/nutrition coaching program www.theveganeffect.com I use a lowfat/high carb/ high raw/ nutrient dense/ high alkaline diet to achieve long term weight loss success. So far I am 100 percent in getting clients long lasting weight loss. If you are interested in my program please fill out the health history form on the side of the web page. We could have a free 1 hour initial consultation over skype to see how I can best help you.
Nuts are best kept to a minimum if you use them at all. Nuts are extremely high in fat and have the opposite omega 3- omega 6 ratio that is optimal for health. Seeds are best as far as ratios are concerned. Also nuts are truly easy to over eat and cause your nutrient ratios to be off.
A healthy vegan diet is a high raw fruitarian diet.
Breakfast: green smoothie. (500-1000 calories of fruits blended with a handful of greens and water)
Bridge: Dates and strawberries (500 calories)
Lunch: Salad with low sugar fruits (cucumber, tomato, squash, bell peppers) topped with fruit, beans, psuedo grains,
Bridge: 2-3 apples
Dinner: Raw wraps (collard greens) with low sugar fruit and tahini
Hope this helps
