    Q: What's the best way to start on a vegan/raw food diet? I am not sure what to eat to make sure I would get a nutritious diet-you may not be able to go into that much detail but how can I get sample meal plans for breakfast, lunch and dinner incorporating this type of diet-perhaps there is somewhere on the web I find something like this?     If I do say myself, the best way to start a raw food diet is to be coached by me.     Here are some other tips to get started.

    1: Join a raw food meetup group or community. Surround yourself with supportive people who can point you in the right direction. Try meetup.org or 30bananasaday.com 

    2: Read books like "beauty detox solution" by snyder, "80/10/10" by Dr. Graham., or "The Paradigm diet" by Adam Dave

    3: Start simple with breakfast. Always start your day with a green smoothie. read "Green smoothie revolution" by forget authors name at the moment. heh.

    A sample meal plan would be.

    Breakfast: Green smoothie

    Bridge: raw bar, handful of nuts or seeds, or fruit

    Lunch: Raw wraps made from collard greens. use a base of tahini, hummus, or nut butter. Fill with sprouts and colorful veggies

    Bridge: raw bar, handful nuts or seeds, or fruit

    Dinner: Raw pasta with a large salad

    Snack: Sorbet

    Q: I am just becoming a vegan going on 20 years in June, and it takes a lot of discipline. I was wondering if you knew any good recipes for some good vegan style dishes. I really want to establish a vegan restaurant. I have purchased your Alternative Diet and Lifestyle Manual, and I know its healthier to eat vegan. But, I also understand its not the healthiest due to soy products. Is their still away to satisfy my appetite and well being at the same time?

    Q: Hey Gary, I've heard a lot of hype about the paleo diet. I'm a vegan. Is the paleo diet a diet you would recommend? Can it work with vegan lifestyle? Thanks!

    The Paleo diet.... something nice.... something nice.... heh.

    The Paleo diet emphasizes drinking water and eating local/organic food. They shun dairy, processed food, and grains. I agree. 

    I disagree with just about everything else. For paleo theory to be correct Vegans either have to not exist or be doing very poorly. Wrong on both accounts. They say vegans just can't get enough protein or that we are missing x,y,z in our diets. Never mind that every major paleo website sells the supplements they say only vegans are deficient in. "Vegans don't get enough protein so eat meat and then buy our protein powder supplements. Vegans don't get enough omega 3's so just eat fish and while you are at it buy our krill oil supplements." And so on. The paleo diet is just the low carb diet re-branded.     Vegans are doing extremely well and in most long term studies Vegans end up on top in both health and longevity.

    They claim carbohydrates make you fat and that the more you eat the more you weigh. Why then do the 80-10-10 crowd all appear not only all thin but extremely healthy? Carbohydrates are your bodies main source of fuel. Preferred source. Every cell in your body runs on glucose. The human body is amazing. The is a secondary source of energy in case of starvation, or glucose deprived. The body starts to burn fat as fuel known as keytosis. This was only meant as a way to keep the body running during famine. However the paleo people think this is a preferred state to be in. It's not. Look up keto-acidosis. Could be deadly.The bottom line is that people will always be looking forward to the latest fad that tells them "good things about their bad habits".

    My Diet program that I run follows a high carb/low fat/high alkaline/high raw protocol.  All my client reach remarkable health results.

    Q: I really needed a lift up today. This little note was right on time. I have been sick all week end with acid reflux. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Remove all acid-forming foods from the diet: meat, dairy products, refined grains, etc.

    Q: I purchased and fully used your ANTI-VIRAL CLEANSE AND REGIMEN. Unfortunately I don't feel as if it has eliminated the current virus within my body. I was diagnosed with Herpes about 8 years ago. Since using your product I have not had an outbreak, however I still have the symptoms that accompany it. This would be the aching in the legs, hip, or pelvic area. I am in dire need to relieve myself from this virus once and for all. What is your take on this and is there something else that I must do?

    If you feel you have not eliminated the virus then you still have it only because you claim it. Your symptoms are not those of genital herpes but something else. Clearly not herpes!     Q: I don't know if you remember or know, but there was a Vegan Couple that had a newborn baby, and the baby had died from what seemed to be a lack a of nutrients because the couple fed the baby a vegan diet. If you remember this, what do you think went wrong.

    A:

    The couple was from Atlanta! What went wrong is that while they were well-intentioned, they were ignorant, ignorant to true nutrition. They fed the baby soy milk, and soy milk does not contain nutrition. They didn't supplement the soy milk with nutrition which they could have done with herbs such as alfalfa, Irish Moss, Iceland Moss, etc.

    Q: I began the ANTI-VIRAL CLEANSE AND REGIMEN approximately a week ago, it has been hard to maintain the fruit and vegan diet, but today I took the blood pills & then ate a grape fruit but after a 30 minutes or less I became sick. Is grapefruit a good morning food? Basically, why did it not stay down?

    Q: I am planning to use angioprim to fully unclog my arteries. I was courious about the calcium phosphate that you offer. Calcium carbonate builds up, and clogs the arteries. Is calcium phosphate going to help unclog them? Is cayenne pepper 135,000 shu, really beneficial for arteries as a cleansing agent? I'm really interested in this cayenne pepper, and planning on using it. Please give me your thoughts!

    Q: Hello I have been taking the fibroid cleanse for 11 days now i am also doing the Strick Vegan diet. within the 11 days i got my period but did not notice any difference still had a heavy flow & cramps. after my period was gone about 4days later ( and this actual moment) i have been having sudden but yet quick piercing pain on the right side of my abdomen.     The symptoms associated with the breaking down of the tumor can vary as everyone’s body is different. Some people experience heavier or lighter menses, cramps, increase in discharge or no symptoms at all. You should continue with the cleanse until it’s over and perform some of the natural remedies listed in the book, especially the castor oil packs. The same amount of time it took for the tumor to develop should be considered for the breaking down of the fibroid. You can repeat the cleanse or continue with the Fibroid Formula depending on the size of the fibroids. We suggest giving your body a chance to process the changes, getting an ultra sound only monitors the size of the tumor. The diet that you should be following is raw vegan.     Q: I am on my 3rd day of the fully body cleansing. I am definitely doing this to lose weight. I am a 52 year old, black, Christian, wife, mother to 21 and 14 year old girls, legal secretary who is 450 lbs. I am to the point now where if I don't do this I'm going to be housebound. I can barely move some days that is why I started this because I feel so unhealthy. I have a question about the nuts. I got all gun-ho and ordered $135.00 worth of organic nuts from nuts.com. I got raisins, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, walnuts, pecans, pistachios and cashews and mixed them all up together (well I purchased 2 lbs of each but I only mixed up 1 lb of each together). Anyway, I was reading about how much calories are in nuts. Should I not pay attention to that because I was consuming a lot of calories in the first place or do I have to watch how many nuts I eat? I have put some nuts in a sandwich bags and basically filled it up and that is supposed to be my nuts ration for the day. I am also eating fruits and vegetables. So far the fruit have been grapes, grapefruit, red apples, pears, green apples and bananas. The vegetables have all been in a salad: tomatoes, celery spinach leaves, carrots, mixed in balsamic vinaigrette. I only ate the salad Monday night all the other times I have just eaten the fruit and nuts. I am also consuming approximately 75-100 oz of water. Sorry I’m long winded I just wanted you to get the entire picture.

    Nuts are best kept to a minimum if you use them at all. Nuts are extremely high in fat and have the opposite omega 3- omega 6 ratio that is optimal for health. Seeds are best as far as ratios are concerned. Also nuts are truly easy to over eat and cause your nutrient ratios to be off.

     

    A healthy vegan diet is a high raw fruitarian diet. 

    Example:

    Breakfast: green smoothie. (500-1000 calories of fruits blended with a handful of greens and water)

    Bridge: Dates and strawberries (500 calories) 

    Lunch: Salad with low sugar fruits (cucumber, tomato, squash, bell peppers) topped with fruit, beans, psuedo grains, 

    Bridge: 2-3 apples

    Dinner: Raw wraps (collard greens) with low sugar fruit and tahini

    Snack: Sorbet

    Q: Today makes day 9 of my FULL BODY DETOX (FBD). This morning I have an outbreak on my hand. I have been practicing telling myself I am Healing, but my job is stressful and yesterday I had a stressful day and this morning the outbreak on my right hand. Could this be part of my healing process? Can you suggest what I can do to alleviate the stress at work so this will not block my healing process of herpes? I am following the diet; however I have been kind of burnt out at times on the salads so I at least eat a salad and a bowl of steamed brown rice and frozen green peas that are steamed for 3 min. Is that considered following the diet? I still eat my fruit for breakfast daily, my salad for lunch and steamed broccoli (5min) and for dinner another salad, but for a few days I have eaten the rice and steam green peas. I basically want to know is it alright so if I eat it in the future.

    A:

    You have to learn to deal with your stress and stop reacting to it. Your subconscious mind is greatly blocked and therefore you have to realize your healing will come very slow. At a deep level you still believe herpes is incurable and your body is giving you this (despite the healing crisis of outbreaks on the hand). Your dietary deviation is understandable and not that bad but if you are tiring of salads opt for other things to eat.     Q: I did the FULL BODY DETOX and ANTI-VIRAL CLEANSE AND REGIMEN back to back. I just received my test results for hsv1 and it's still positive. I followed the diet strictly and followed everything that as instructed. I did not cheat at all. I was taking Dr. Sebi's herbs for 5 months and eating a vegan diet. At month 6 I came across your website and decided to give your products a try. I truly believed I would test negative this time. Here are the viral numbers after taking Dr. Sebi's herbs for 5 months.     When people have difficulty healing, there's always an emotional, mental, and psychological block (where they really believe they have a disease and if it's said to be incurable they subconsciously believe it is incurable so no matter what they do they don't get physical results). Healing must be holistic! Clearly you are getting some results with herbs (Sebi's and mine) which means the herbs are doing their part but you are not doing your part. Belief is key to healing! If you are focused on "NOT wanting" herpes, you are in fact attracting herpes to stay with you because the Universe does not process negative language, i.e. "no" "not" "non" and "don't." So when you say or focus on NOT desiring a thing, i.e. "I don't want to have herpes!" the Universe hears: "I WANT to have herpes" and gives you what you want. You have to focus only on seeing yourself healed. Herpes can't be nowhere in your thought process, vocabulary, aura, etc. and it is! You are not the first person with this problem. I deal with hundreds of other individuals whose minds are not right and they go spend thousands of dollars for physical healing but they invest 0% into mental healing. Your healing depends on sources outside of self. You are looking for test results to prove your are healed rather than knowing, seeing, and FEELING that you are healed. You are looking for external products (herbs) to heal you and not your MIND and God-force. Herbs and diet only play a role. You didn't get herpes from what you ate. It was THOUGHT, EMOTIONS, ATTITUDE, DIET, LIFESTYLE, and perhaps PAST-LIFE KARMA! Let's talk! "All healing is mental"

    Q: I'm a raw vegan, and still suffering from acne. I stay away from all sweeteners, except fresh whole fruits. I started to have lots of greens juices these days, and my skin has improved a little bit. What about spices such a cayenne pepper, is it bad for your skin? What about goji berries? I know they are diet fruits, thats why I stay away from them for a while. I even fast for a while. I just don't know how my skin can getter better.

    Q: Hi I am on the 5th day and I had a lunch on today. I ate shrimp spinach salad?does that affect my detox? I feel very bad.

    A: In order to achieve the best results, you should remain on a raw foods diet for the duration. However, if you slip up, get right back on track with the raw foods diet and finish the cleanse! You can receive many of the beneficial effects of the cleanse still.

    Q: Today was my first day of Full Body Cleanse, but I only made it through formula 1. After taking formula one, I started feeling dizzy and nauseous. I vomited a few times, and then I tried to eat something before taking formula two. Before I could take the pills, I began to vomit again. This was three hours ago, and I still haven't stopped. Blood came up a few times and a few green and yellow fluids. At this point, I have nothing on my stomach and everything I eat comes back up. Please help? I plan to pick back up tomorrow, but I wanted to know if there was something that I could do as to not repeat today's episode and have to leave work sick. Thank you.

    The toxicity in your body is trying to be expelled. Try lowering the dosage with only 2-3 capsules of each formula and see if you can tolerate that, and then try to work your way back up to the 5 capsules once your body assimilates.

    Also, try drinking plenty of soothing Ginger, Peppermint, or Chamomile tea. These are great for your stomach!
