    ·        Light resistance training

    ·        Walking

    ·        Biking

    ·        Swimming

    ·        Trampoline

    ·        Pilates

    ·        Aerobics 

     

    It's best to keep exercise to a minimum. When you exercise your body pulls blood away from your core and into your limbs (fight or flight response). That directs blood away from your healing response. Also high impact or weight training requires more calories and more protein which will over work the organs that should be using their energy healing.

    Q: I recommend this site to all because it has helped me in so many ways, that I was hoping it may be of help to my 11 year old niece. She is really shy towards others, even at school. To the point where last year, it started affecting her school work. Because, at school you have to interact with others, as well as participate in class. At home with family she's active, sociable, and lot's of fun. When she gets around others she shuts down, believe it or not. I was talking with her mother, my sister and she realized that we was that same way aswell growing up. I don't want her to go through life like that, if there is a way to help her. My sister mentioned pills. Since I have found your site there is no way that I'll have her popping man made pills, when there are herbs that are safe. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I know they have tea I saw for adults (Stress/Anxiety), but for kids I wasn't sure. I need something that will definately work. Thanks for all you do, and look forward to hearing from you.

    It's probably just a personality thing. However, it's not a sickness. It's more astrological, and personal essence than anything. I would suggest that the child have its natal chart and numerology chart done. Everything about the child is written "In the Wheel."

    Q: I am a 49 yr. old black female. When I was younger I had severe cystic acne that left me with what the dermatologist calls "ice pick scaring" and enlarged pores. I had 2 full face dermabrasions in my 30s and have been on retina A from then up until now. I have a pretty healthy diet and exercise routine. My Father and a couple of Uncles of mine also had the same type of skin problems, left with the same aftermath. I use French green clay masks which slightly reduce the look of the large pores and a sugar, honey, and lemon scrub (I make it at home) and I use it on my face. I'm not unattractive, but my skin looks rough and dull and pitted on my cheeks and nose.     Q: Hello, I am having some serious issues here. I have a history of depression/anxiety and female problems. About a month ago I had my second miscarriage and after that it seems like my health just went downhill. I was having severe dizziness and headaches and then I started having breathing trouble. The doctors have said it's just bronchitis and my anxiety and that I need to take my meds so I have started back on my antidepressants/anxiety meds. My health doesn't seem to be getting any better.     Q: I've really been suffering with some anxiety issues and was looking at the symptoms of an overactive thyroid, which seem to be most of my symptoms. I was also about to have sexual relations with my girl for the first time and my body just started heating up like I had a fever, and the anxiety hit me like a bomb.     Q: I've been dealing with anxiety, and depression since I was a child. Now I am 31, and been medicated with antidepressants for 10 years.     Q: I have been experiencing some worry issues for the last six months. Anxiety, and panic attacks, it's been a hell of a ride.     Q: I am 6'0 starting day 1 at 246, on day 4, I hit 236. But for 3 days I am at the same weight. Do I need to workout to lose more weight, if so what are some good workouts for my body type. Most of my weight is in the midsection.

    Hi, thanks for the question.

    Your body does not like rapid changes in weight and will fight you along the way. These are called plateaus. It's too early to panic and by the time you get this email I am pretty sure your weight will have shifted again. You cannot spot lose weight. Your body picks and chooses where it gains weight and where it loses weight. sometimes they aren't the same places.

    Working out always helps the process. Here is a blog I wrote, Three Successful Fitness Habits for Sustained Weight, on three successful habits for sustained weight loss.  

    Fitness for weight loss is interval cardio training and circuit weight training.

    Example of both would be:
    Interval training on bike.
    3 minute warmup
    30 seconds of high speed
    1 minute of recovery
    repeat for 15 minutes till 30 minutes.

    Circuit training (five rounds-1 minute rest in between rounds)
    Mountain climbers x 20
    Pushups x 20
    Squats x 20
    Bent over rows x 15
    Crunches x 25

    Q: I want to start the raw food diet, but do not want to lose weight has i am under weight already. I need tips to gain or at least maintain my weight. I do lift weights as part of my exercise routine.

    A:

    Thanks for the question,

    Losing "weight" on a raw foods diet is a definite probability. But the weight might be excess fat and water retention due to detoxing. By weight I am assuming you are talking about muscle. It is not that complicated to keep muscle while on a raw food diet. The Vegan Effect diet program I created is 60-90 percent raw. Raw before dinner if that helps. I allow myself one cooked meal a day. For the most part the diet is a Low fat/high carb/high fruit/high alkaline diet. 

    The most important thing to remember is getting enough calories. My athletes (including raw body builders) typically eat 1000 calories of fruit for breakfast in the form of a green smoothie. Usually post workout. You need to eat roughly 3000 calories to maintain or grow muscle mass. Some of my mass building athletes eat as much as 5000 calories. Albeit at a higher fat ratio than our standard 70/10/20 carb/fat/protein ratios.

    Q: I really love what you're doing and you have a brilliant approach in getting the information out to the masses. I just finished watching your youtube footage. Very Nice! I am a Kung-Fu Martial Artist and I've been experiencing discomfort in my knees. I workout regularly. Is there any recommendation you could give me to quiet this discomfort and help restore my body, because my muscles are often sore.

It occurs more often in those with an arrogant or stubborn personality, who are unable to bend to new ideas or to the ideas of others.     Q: I recently started a natural breast enhancement routine. I am using fenugreek seed, mint tea, and licorice. After I purchased the licorice, I noticed you can only take it for 4 - 6 weeks. I think maybe I should be taking something for 3 months. Should I get something different such as red clover, and saw palmetto to take with fenugreek, or stick with the licorice for the 6 weeks to see what happens any advice is greatly appreciated!

    Q: How are you. I ran into your page on Youtube and subsequently did some research. Very Knowledgeable you are. I have problems with weight, stress, and erectile dysfunction. I work nights if I were to order your Full Body Detox does it need to be conducted in a different manner than someone who works at nights?

    Basically, you would just reverse the times you take the formulas. Instead of starting at 7 a.m., you'd start at 7 p.m. (or whenever you start your day or night). Just flip flop the time schedule. Plenty of people do this, those that work night shifts.

    Q: Can I do a 45-minute cardio while doing the Full Body Cleanse? The Doctor claims I am a Type II Diabetic and I have decided to cleanse and then do the Pancreas Cleanse as well. I want to workout to tone up!!! Just wondering if I will have enough energy to continue to workout...I am doing cardio 4 x a week for 45 minutes.

    A: You can still exercise while doing the cleanse, but we suggest only engaging in the light cardio instead of any intense workouts.  Because you're on an adjusted diet that consists of mainly fruits and vegetables, you may burn through the foods faster as opposed to when you workout while consuming carbs or starchy foods.  You can drink Green Tea for a boost of energy or consume raw foods that provides a natural source of energy.  Foods that provide you with more energy include bananas, spinach, citrus fruits like grapefruits and oranges, apples, almonds and lemons.
