Do we judge black women by whether or not they straighten their hair?
Q: I usually wear an Afro, but now I keep my hair in braids under a hat. A month ago my hair began to break, and my scalp got very dry. So, I started using shea butter, and olive oil. It started to work, soon after I made the mistake of putting braids, with synthetic fibers in my hair. It tore the sides of my hair out. I have about 6 or more inches of my hair left. What should I do now?
Pour the oil into your palms, and then rub into you hair and then comb! Hair should be shiny, and smell good.
Q: I have extremely kinky hair. I need a moisturizer in order to comb my afro daily. I did not see a product representative of something I can use to soften my hair, in order to comb it. Do you have such a product?
We are scheduled to release our hair products in early 2009.

Q: Thank you for the wonderful info you give to help us all live healthier lives. My concern is my hair loss. Is there an herbal remedies to help hair grow back like it did when I was in my young teens. I'm 41 years old now and my hair loss is primarily on the top. If you need to know my race (for any reason) I'm a black man. I do not want to use Rogain or any other chemicals to re grow my hair or pay money for hair transplants. Is there any hope to grow hair naturally or am I stuck with my genetic code of losing my hair? Thanks in advance!
Q: I am in my 30's and my hair is salt and pepper. How do you feel about hair coloring? Are there any particular brands that are safe? (My hair is naturally black).
Q: I was reading about a famous black author who died of brain cancer and I wanted to know what does it mean on a metaphysical level? Cancer of the brain, breast, colon, mouth. What does this signify other than extreme toxicity? What does poor circulation mean metaphysically speaking? Do you think there is a link between hair dyes, hair relaxers (burners) and brain cancer and lupus among black females. This is "off the cuff" but I hate seeing black females with straightened hair and hair coloring. I really hate it. I hate long claws (fake fingernails).
Metaphysically, cancer denotes a feeling being eaten up (on the inside) by some emotion or emotions, always negative emotions. Mouth cancer - the person refused to speak out their hurt, anger, pain, etc. Breast cancer - the female failed to get things off of her chest or neglected caring for herself (nurturing herself, her wounds and pains, etc.). Colon cancer - the person couldn't stomach things but failed to release what was emotionally eating away at them.
Metaphysically speaking, poor circulation means your "life flow" is stagnant due to the burdens of life "weighing you down." Most people with poor circulation have weight issues. In addition they may be "poor" and their cash flow does not "circulate" the way they'd would like and so worries about bills and other financial responsibility makes them eat away their worries whereby they gain weight and hamper their bodily circulation.
And yes, chemicals in hair products (dyes, conditioners, relaxers) are playing a role in certain cancers of the head (i.e. brain cancer).
Q: Can Oz Oil help with thinning hair or hair that is so thin you can see the scalp? Notice hair thinning after partial hysterectomy 4 years ago. Nothing helps.

Q: I have natural hair (locks), the texture of my hair is fine and thin. In the back, it's thin, its just this one area of my scalp (the back). I think these two problems are all tied into one, and that this might be a dietary issue, and that my body is trying to tell me something. What do you know?
For the hair problem, read the articles addressing hair health ("Black Hair, Nappy Hair" and "Hair Problems"). Feed your hair, Hair-Skin-Nails Formula, Vitamin C, and Iodine Phosphate.
Q: Hi, I just want to know how long is it safe to use the gray-less hair. My daughter is in her mid twenties and I have seen now and then few strands of white hair. I know that she is under stress and at time due to her nature travel with anxiety especially with schooling and homework at one point. I have read even though herbs are natural there are side effects. Are they any long term side effects of sage? I believe I have read an article of long term use. I know the herb "Bringaraj" is the king of hair and is good for grey hair. I buy this in my area. Also, Amla, indian gooseberry is very good for grey hair which she takes also. I purchase your herb'gray-less hair and she uses it everyday. She his young and I want her to upkeep her nice shiny hair and less greying. Is this for long term? Thanks
A: Yes, she can use the Gray less Hair Rinse as often as she likes. The rinse works best with consuming the Gray less Hair formula.

Q: IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO TO ERASE MY graying hair on my head and face, as well as change it back to black? I am 42 years old. Also, what can I do to regrow my hair on my head, if I am balding?
Q: I wrote to you earlier tonight regarding my hair has recently been thinning quite a bit. I forgot to tell you that I have been periodically been dying (coloring my hair) because I have so much grey coming in. I am 40 years old and my hair is quite grey without the coloring. I recently switched to a brand that I bought in the health food store. Tell me is my hair falling out because I have been coloring it? I just started coloring it the past four years due to greying. (I know young girls color their hair all the time just to experiment. I colored because of the grey). Is the coloring getting me in trouble and causing the hair fall out. I color it myself not professionally. Tell me should I just stop all together with the coloring? What do you recommend to restore my hair?
You cannot regain your hair without regaining your overall health including your hormonal health. First, detoxify your whole body (see Full Body Cleanse). Follow the Full Body Clease with the Female Cleanse.
After these 2 cleanses (which we highly recommend) your monthly regimen should consist of the following Dherbs formulas: Thyroid Aid, Vitamin C, Electric Greens, Hair, Skin, Nails Formula and Female Hormonal Formula.
Only use natural hair products (shampoo and conditioner). Don't process your hair as much. Avoid harsh chemicals on your hair.
Q: My hair has finally started to grow and I have split ends. My hair has started to grow because I have decided to grow my hair naturally. Theses spilt ends are wrecking my nerves. How do I repair them with cutting off about 2&1/2 inches of my hair? I would prefer to use food products.
BELIEVE IT OR NOT, SPLIT ENDS REFLECT THE HEALTH OF THE OVARIES. YOUR HAIR TIES IN TO YOUR REPRODUCTIVE AREA. FEED (NOURISH) THE SEX GLANDS. CONSIDER PERFORMING THE TOTAL WOMAN CLEANSE BUT ALSO CONSUMING FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE SPECIFIC HERBS (VIA TEA, CAPSULES, OR EXTRACTS) DAILY. TAKE AS MUCH MSM SULFUR AS YOU CAN. THIS IS GREAT FOOD FOR THE HAIR AND KEEPS THE HAIR GROWING. TO FIX SPLIT ENDS, WORK ON YOUR OVARIES.
Q: I am sending you this message because I am very concerned about my friend?s health. He's a young black man; age 31.He is highly STRESSED OUT on his job and has been experiencing patches of HAIR LOSS all through out his head. He went to see a doctor and is now taking some sort of medicine with steroids in it. I believe you can advise him on a more natural way (DHERBS) to control his STRESS & HAIR LOSS problem.
A: Consider supplementing with MSM, Hair, Skin, & Nails, Nerves Formula, and/or the Anti-Stress Inhaler. These products should greatly help with the mentioned symptoms your friend is experiencing. The stress is contributing to the hair loss.
Q: I have used relaxers (perms) in my hair for (40) forty years. I am changing my hair style to natural locks. Is there something I can use to help remove those chemicals from my hair?
Q: Hello, I am 33 yrs. old and In the middle of my head my hair started to thin. Hair loss does not run in the family. I have heard several reasons from braiding to much, twisting to much, because my right ovary was removed, because of the mercury fillings that was used on my teeth. Its growing back slowly, just wanted to know if you had a product for hair loss?
Q: I have experienced dramatic hair loss in the last 7 months. The Dr.'s says it's stress. I have since eliminated stress, started working out, detoxing (ionic foot bath), and eliminating the bad foods. I have been known to eat excessively in the past. Im just not sure, if it is not my hormones off track, because of the poor diet, then what. Although, I believe that poor diet leads to any illness now. I would like to find one product that can focus on the bigger picture for me which is complete well being to STOP the hair loss and grow my hair back as thick and strong as it has always been. When the hair loss started I noticed constipation at the same time. The constipation is slowly getting better, but the hair loss really concerns me. I am a model, and my hair is my trademark. Do you know of any reputable naturalpaths in Atlanta? Is there a product of yours that you could suggest?
Usually, the hormones are out of balance, usually the ovaries. Hair loss is a sign of degeneracy at the sexual reproductive level. Rebuild the endocrine system. Start by cleansing the body. Start by detoxing (Full Body Detox) followed by performing the Total Woman Cleanse. Also, learn to focus on what you desire (beautiful and healthy hair) and not what you don't want (hair fallout, hair problems). Our Mental Science Manual is good reading for healing with the mind in addition to herbs and other things.
Q: My 12 year old daughter is losing her hair. Her hairline has significantly receded, and her hairline on the side of her face is behind her ears, are slick. She does not have a perm and has not for about 2 years now. It is ok to use the Hair Nail formula and the MSM Sulfur together? Should I change the dosage? I am also considering the Child Liquid Cleanser and the Green 10-day Cleanser. Can they be used together? Should I change the dosage? Backgroud: She had ringworm when she was about 6, and lost hair. It grew back. She got a perm around 10. After the second application I noticed that those spots that were lost when she was 6 were going bald again. She hasn't gotten another perm. In spite of that, the areas of loss have gotten larger. The natural hair stylist said it could be puberty induced alopecia. Please help...
