Becoming Healthy and in Shape Before I Turn 30 – Day 1

Day  1

“Today was not as hard as I thought it would be. I started my day with a glass of water and positive thinking. I knew my time was short in being able to make myself a smoothie at home plus I had not gone shopping for all the necessary foods I need to complete the detox correctly, so I went to Robeck’s and picked up an all fruit smoothie. It was pretty satisfying. It kept me full most of the morning. For a snack I had some raw cashews that I always keep in my purse just in case I get hungry.

I find it helps you stay away from 7-Eleven and the vending machines.

Lunch was a small salad I got from El Pollo Loco without the dressing and tortilla chips. For dinner, I opted for another smoothie just because I had not been home yet to make a salad or go shopping for alternatives.

First day down. Hope there all like this.”

Q: Today makes day 9 of my FULL BODY DETOX (FBD). This morning I have an outbreak on my hand. I have been practicing telling myself I am Healing, but my job is stressful and yesterday I had a stressful day and this morning the outbreak on my right hand. Could this be part of my healing process? Can you suggest what I can do to alleviate the stress at work so this will not block my healing process of herpes? I am following the diet; however I have been kind of burnt out at times on the salads so I at least eat a salad and a bowl of steamed brown rice and frozen green peas that are steamed for 3 min. Is that considered following the diet? I still eat my fruit for breakfast daily, my salad for lunch and steamed broccoli (5min) and for dinner another salad, but for a few days I have eaten the rice and steam green peas. I basically want to know is it alright so if I eat it in the future.

    A:

You have to learn to deal with your stress and stop reacting to it. Your subconscious mind is greatly blocked and therefore you have to realize your healing will come very slow. At a deep level you still believe herpes is incurable and your body is giving you this (despite the healing crisis of outbreaks on the hand). Your dietary deviation is understandable and not that bad but if you are tiring of salads opt for other things to eat. We list a few raw foods alternative recipes in our "ALTERNATIVE DIET AND LIFESTYLES MANUAL" e-book available for download. Check it out!

Q: Is it alright to drink part of your fruits and veggies? I have a fruit smoothie for breakfast, and veggie drink in between lunch and dinner, nuts and a piece of fruit in between and a salad and a piece of fruit for dinner.

    A:

Yes, you may drink part of your fruits and vegetables. As long as they are FRESHLY SQUEEZED

Q: First off, thank you so much for your responses to my questions regarding my husband heart murmur and weed smoking. Secondly...I am on my third day of the Full Body Detox & it is challenging and invigorating at the same time. My newest question is...how can I make the fruit smoothie that you recommended for drinking in the morning? & can you send my a recipe?

    A:

A few recipes are in the Alternative Diet and Lifestyle Manual.

Use 1 cup of fruit juice (of your liking), 1 cup of frozen fruit (i.e. banana, strawberries, mango, etc.), 1 cup of ice (optional). Blend for about 30 seconds! Drink and enjoy!

Q: Is it okay for a person with diabetes to have a fruit smoothie in the mornings during the full body detox?

    A:

Q: I started the full body detox today, and found that I DO NOT like the salad dressing I made with the olive oil, apple cider vinegar and lemon juice. I found I could not tolerate it on my salad. What can I do instead? Another question is... I noticed lentils on the food combining chart. Those have to be cooked. Are those actually allowed to be consumed warm? I love the raw fruits and vegetables. I don?t have a problem, cause I love salads. I just need help on what I can have on it.

    A:

Check out our website for raw salad dressing recipes. You are bound to find one you like.

As for lentils, you are NOT allowed to have them while on the cleanse.

Q: I have incorporated fish into my diet because I have been craving. Is moderation okay.... meaning my fruits for breakfast a regular lunch with salad and a salad for dinner okay to pretty much moderate other foods? It is challenging for me to become a vegan. Do you have any suggestions on how to still eat healthy to maintain an alkalized body with certain foods with moderation that are not raw? I still drink my green veggies at least twice a day. I am praying that my results will be negative.

    A:

FISH IN MODERATION IS OKAY FOR YOU. TO MAINTAIN ALKALINITY, DESPITE THE ACID-FORMING THINGS YOU EAT, JUST MAKE SURE TO EAT AS MANY GREEN FOODS AS POSSIBLE. YOU CAN ALSO TAKE 6 CAPSULES OF ELECTRIC GREENS CELL FOOD TOO! YOU’RE DOING GOOD SO KEEP YOUR THOUGHTS POSITIVE AND ON YOUR DESIRES.

Q: I WANTED TO KNOW HOW DO YOU MAKE A SMOOTHIE ON full body cleanse? And can you not mix any of the food combined if it says not to?

    A:

You can check our website for numerous great smoothie recipes.

Ideally, to make a smoothie, use a base (some kind of fruit juice, water, or nut milk), add some frozen fruit or non-frozen fruit (your favorite fruit), add a little ice and BLEND (for about 1 minute)! Wa la ... you have a fruit smoothie!

Q: Thanks for all of the information which is very beneficial I must say. My question to you is what's the best type of aloe vera juice to drink? Also I have heard that the gel from the plant can be mixed into a smoothie, is that true? Greetings! As far as the best brand I really wouldn't know as there are a few good brands on the market. Just make sure your aloe vera juice is at 99% pure and with no additives. Aloe gel can be added to a fruit smoothie though

    A:

I personally wouldn't add it to a fruit smoothie.

Q: My Dad is 90 and in a nursing home. He has been diagnosed with Papilloma in his mouth. He cannot wear his dentures and these wort like things are growing in his mouth. At this time it has not been cancerous. I believe a good cleansing would help him, but what can I get for them to give him there. I would have to get the Dr. there to allow the nurses to administer it to him. Also, I?ve you heard of the detoxification that is done by a foot cleansing, which is done by putting the feet in water with an electrical strip which has a mineral in the water that after about thirty minutes cleanses the body. I have had the experience and it is unbelievable what is removed from the body. My son, has liver was completely cleansed by this in three weeks. Do you think this might help Dad. I have been thinking about buying one of these machines and taking it there and trying it. If you have heard of this, can you recommend any one that is better than another. Also, any recommendations for herbs, etc. Thank you for any help you have for Dad. (He also has diabetes)

    A:

Dad needs a serious cleansing! Especially his colon of which the mouth is connected as a part of the alimentary canal. If he has trouble swallowing capsules, our liquid Full Body Cleanse would be ideal for him (in addition to some of our new great teas).

The foot detox works wonders. This is a powerful way to detox the body.

Q: Hi I am on the 5th day and I had a lunch on today. I ate shrimp spinach salad?does that affect my detox? I feel very bad.

A: In order to achieve the best results, you should remain on a raw foods diet for the duration. However, if you slip up, get right back on track with the raw foods diet and finish the cleanse! You can receive many of the beneficial effects of the cleanse still.

Q: To make a long story short, my mother just found out that the 'cancer' her doctors had been treating her for the past 8 yrs was misdiagnosed. Her new Doctor informed her she's HIV positive and all the drugs; radiation/chemo treatments have only weakened her body. This information is quite distressing. My mother is now taking 15 pills a day and is essentially confined to home and bed. My mother will be 68 yrs old at the end of this month. Please advise what you would recommend she takes that will help her feel better and help get the toxic waste out of her body that these pill are helping to create. Thanks for any info regarding this matter.

    A:

Put her on the FULL BODY DETOX. After the detox, have her take ELECTRIC GREENS CELL FOOD capsules (5 capsules) 5-6 times a day and drink RAINFOREST TONIC TEA. She must eat only raw foods. Please read our â€CANCER: Causes and Remedies†article.

Q: I am a beginner Holistic practitioner. My son who just turned 24 is addicted to pain medication. He started with Vicodin when he was 17 now he is taking OxyContn and Methadone. He said he is ready to get off now, because he sees how it is destroying his life. I know getting off of this type of medication is very hard on the person who will be Detoxing. I really don't want to put him in a in-house detox center, nor do we have the finances to do so. So, I want to have him come stay with me for however long it takes to get him detox. But I want to give him what he needs to lessen the healing crises, the headaches, the other pain that is associated with this type of withdraw. I am not quite sure what to do or where to start or if it is something I should do. I feel that I can help him. But I want to be sure of this. I am thinking this is something that might require a medical physician. Please let me know if it something that can be done at home. And if so, what herbs, supplements and whole foods I should have handy to assist him on his detox process. You expertise is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    A:

He needs the FULL BODY DETOX and should drink plenty of Licorice Root tea. He can detox at home. Let him bathe in 26-78 ounces of sea salt daily. Let him drink vegetable juice daily as well. Please schedule a health consultation so you can obtain more natural remedies for your son. $100 (for a consultation) is a lot cheaper than a detox center. Please consider!

Q: Today is day 14 of my FULL BODY DETOX Journey. About 70% of my upper body is covered in red, painful eczema. I have been taking the sea salt baths but the peroxide on my face stings so I haven't continued doing it. I am trying to stay positive on this journey amidst the difficulty of walking around with red rashly peeling skin and painful, uncomfortable nights. I’m wondering where I go from here. I have 3 colonics line up this week and am trying to be even more diligent and have added wheatgrass and some flax evening primrose to my regimen. Should I expect that on my last day of this detox I will be covered in eczema and upon finishing the herbs it will go away? I just want to set realistic expectations for once the process is complete. I plan on maintaining a primarily fruit and vegetable diet after this and continuing with the juicing, etc. Is the detox process one where you go until the symptoms go away? meaning should I purchase another kit and continue instead of stopping at the 20 day mark? or is there a more mild method that I can use after the detox is complete?

    A:

Healing takes time so please take things one day at a time, Beloved! Live in the moment! Don't worry about the future and future outcomes! Live in the day (today)! If the peroxide burns stop using it. Have you tried the HEALING SKIN OIL, Beloved? No matter how frustrating, STAY POSITIVE! There is great wisdom in pain and irritation! Expectations? get rid of them because if you don't get what you expect you will be disappointed. Detox and then take a brief break and just rely on food. After you detox (FBD) try the 10-DAY ELECTRIC GREENS CELL FOOD CLEANSEand perform it 2-4 times straight if you can afford it. Have you read our â€ECZEMA†article? Don't forget to drink plenty of vegetable juice!

Q: Lunch is organic salad dressing allowed or maybe fresh lemon juice and some extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) (cold pressed)

    A:

Organic salad dressing is a healthy alternative, but because they're bottled they usually contain preservatives to sustain their condition on store shelves. We recommend sticking to raw and fresh ingredients like using extra virgin olive oil as a base for homemade dressings. Adding apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, sea salts and other spices are common ingredients for homemade dressings.

Q: Hello, Is it okay to drink the naked fruit smoothie on the 10 day detox. I read the label and no sugar and additives are in the drink. Thank you

A: Unfortunately you cannot consume any pre-made store juices or smoothies. Those kind of beverages contain preservatives and additives to help sustain shelf life and is also pasteurized (processed foods).

Q: Hello, I'm on day 3 of the FBC and I'm having a really hard time with sweets. It's even more trying because I work in a bakery which I cannot avoid because it is a family owned business and I, myself do a lot of the baking. What do you recommend to help seize my sweet craving besides fruit? Because it seems that I can eat fruit for substitution but after a while I still want to eat cake lol. Also, what brand alkaline water do you recommend? Is it best to drink the bottled water or make it? Thanking you in advance. D.Bolden

A: After a few days, your cravings will subside. If you feel like you need additional help with sugar cravings you can also try the Sugar Control. There are raw food desserts available in health stores like Whole Foods, raw food restaurants or raw desserts you can make. It would be best to purchase the alkaline water. Essentia, Nestle, Voss and Neo Water are some of the popular brands of alkaline water. Sugar Control - http://www.dherbs.com/store/sugar-Formula-p-63.html

Q: I'm doing the Full Body Cleanse and I have a few questions about it: I get tired of drinking just the distilled water and I'd like to drink the herbal teas, but I don't like it by itself. Would it mess things up to add a pack or two of Splenda to my tea or maybe honey? I can't stand the salads with the olive oil or apple cider vinegar or the lemon juice as dressing and it makes me gag. I have To have some sort of salad dressing. What kind would be suitable? Do I look for sugar-free? Or organic and natural? I found one that is organic and natural, but it has 3 grams of sugar in it. Without eating all my whole grained breads and other fiber, I haven't had much of a bowel movement in 3 days, should I wait a while yet? (I had surgery on my bowels and always had to take fiber tablets and eat lots of grains to get my bowels to move.) I haven't done the enemas yet, (low on money) should I try that? Or should I resume my fiber tablets I normally take? Any type of fiber I could add to my fruit smoothies in the morning? I want to also do the female cleanse. Is it ok to do that immediately after I finish the full body cleanse or should I wait for a little while? Thank you for all your help, I feel much better than I did before and I just started this detox a week ago, lost 10 pounds, too, woohoooooo! Thank you

    A:

    1. Instead of splenda, use agave, stevia, or grade b maple syrup as a sweetener.

    2. In re Salad Dressing, an organic and natural one is great. You can also check our website for salad dressing recipes.

    3. The fiber pills are not part of the cleanse, so we wouldn't advise those. Fruit is you best choice of fiber so look into eating more papaya, mango, figs, etc. And yes, colonics (and enemas) would greatly help you - undoubtedly!

    4. You can do the Female Cleanse right after you finish detoxing. There's no need to wait!

    Q:

A: You can only have the protein powder if its all natural and does not contain any dairy or whey. Hemp seed protein, green pea protein and spirulina are the best types of protein powder allowed on the cleanse.
