Becoming Healthy and in Shape Before I Turn 30 – Day 12

My day started as usual with a smoothie, snack, salad and off to my second job. On my way to work, I had the “how did you become a vegetarian” talk with a classmate of mine. He always seems so energized and never seems to have problems. No ever really sick, good complexion, you know, all that stuff. He said he went cold turkey. As I rolled my eyes as he talked, he explained it was your mind over your programing of we must have meat at a meal. He was right. When we went out, I would get buffalo wings, he would get a cheese pizza or spring rolls. But is just cutting out meat OK? Dherbs always says that cheese and dairy products are bad also. Am I strong enough to stop eating cheese? If bacon is my crack, cheese is my cocaine. I mean when I was little, I would cut a piece of cheese of the block and just eat it. Yes, it was serious and still is. I was skinny as hell but had high ass cholesterol. But that was programmed into me. My dad did it and so did I. Everything had to have cheese on it. I mean everything. Potatoes, sandwiches, extra cheese on pizzas, just cheese platters, I mean everything. I must cut my ties with this form of cocaine (melted, blocked, shredded and even liquid form).

As I drove home I had a itch that could not be satisfied. It started on my back and seemed to move to my side. When I got home I looked in the mirror at it and it was a rash. I thought to myself…what in the hell? About an hour later after my bath, it got worse. I freaked out. I called my boss at dherbs and told him what was going on (mind you it was 1:30a.m.). I was in the car about to go to emergency when he called back and said it’s normal. The detox is meant to pull toxins out of your system and apparently your blood had a lot of toxins to get rid of. That call saved me about 500 dollars in emergency costs I didn’t need to spend. I took my itchy ass to sleep.
