Dherbers,

What it is? Today is day 10 of my cleanse and I’m now starting to really feel in sync with it. Each day feels much easier to contend with the proverbial “food monkey” being on my back. As discussed before, food can be sooooo addictive. However, if we start reprogramming our palette and eating habits now the journey becomes so much easier.

I’m feeling fresh and strong. So today is a good day to get in my workouts. I’m goin to hit the gym and do some cardio with light weights. Making certain that the reps are plentiful, I’ll be a lean mean black machine! (And ya know dis….)

BREAKFAST – Smoothie with bananas, pineapple, grapes, mangos, and hemp seed.
LUNCH – Plenty of nuts, cashews, almonds, and walnuts. ( protein)
DINNER- Raw tacos.

    Q: I am on my 3rd day of the fully body cleansing. I am definitely doing this to lose weight. I am a 52 year old, black, Christian, wife, mother to 21 and 14 year old girls, legal secretary who is 450 lbs. I am to the point now where if I don't do this I'm going to be housebound. I can barely move some days that is why I started this because I feel so unhealthy. I have a question about the nuts. I got all gun-ho and ordered $135.00 worth of organic nuts from nuts.com. I got raisins, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, walnuts, pecans, pistachios and cashews and mixed them all up together (well I purchased 2 lbs of each but I only mixed up 1 lb of each together). Anyway, I was reading about how much calories are in nuts. Should I not pay attention to that because I was consuming a lot of calories in the first place or do I have to watch how many nuts I eat? I have put some nuts in a sandwich bags and basically filled it up and that is supposed to be my nuts ration for the day. I am also eating fruits and vegetables. So far the fruit have been grapes, grapefruit, red apples, pears, green apples and bananas. The vegetables have all been in a salad: tomatoes, celery spinach leaves, carrots, mixed in balsamic vinaigrette. I only ate the salad Monday night all the other times I have just eaten the fruit and nuts. I am also consuming approximately 75-100 oz of water. Sorry I’m long winded I just wanted you to get the entire picture.

    Nuts are best kept to a minimum if you use them at all. Nuts are extremely high in fat and have the opposite omega 3- omega 6 ratio that is optimal for health. Seeds are best as far as ratios are concerned. Also nuts are truly easy to over eat and cause your nutrient ratios to be off.

     

    A healthy vegan diet is a high raw fruitarian diet. 

    Example:

    Breakfast: green smoothie. (500-1000 calories of fruits blended with a handful of greens and water)

    Bridge: Dates and strawberries (500 calories) 

    Lunch: Salad with low sugar fruits (cucumber, tomato, squash, bell peppers) topped with fruit, beans, psuedo grains, 

    Bridge: 2-3 apples

    Dinner: Raw wraps (collard greens) with low sugar fruit and tahini

    Snack: Sorbet

    Q: Hi I am on the 5th day and I had a lunch on today. I ate shrimp spinach salad?does that affect my detox? I feel very bad.

    A: In order to achieve the best results, you should remain on a raw foods diet for the duration. However, if you slip up, get right back on track with the raw foods diet and finish the cleanse! You can receive many of the beneficial effects of the cleanse still.

    Q: For several years, I have a pins and needles feeling all over including burning. I feel light- headed frequently and feels like I would fall to the floor if I don't concentrate on keeping myself steady. I have lower back pain (center) that does not relent. My foot feels like there is current running in my feet all the time and my pinkie on my right hand feel numb. My neuro tested me for MS and it came back negative. I have been to several doctors and no one can tell me what it is or help me with my symptoms. They have resorted to calling my condition "stress". I do feel anxious most times and lack optimism.     Q: Members of my house have started drinking Hemp Milk and Rice Milk. No more Cow Milk! We like the taste of both. I also like the fact that the hemp milk has omega and other nutrients in it. However, my son is three years old and we have discovered he is allergic to nuts because a family member gave him a cashew to eat, then his eyes began to swell up like Garfield the cat. I had him tested for food allergies and the test revealed he is allergic to nuts and soy. So I don't give him any nut products or soy products. My question for you is: "Is hemp a nut or a seed, is the hemp milk derived from a nut or a seed???" I need to know other alternatives if in fact it is a nut. I do not want to give him something toxic to him.

    Hemp is a seed, not a nut, so hemp seed milk is okay for him.

    Nuts cashews - peanuts, soy

    Grains - rice, oats

    Fruit - almond, coconut, banana, date

    Q: I've been taking the Full Body Cleanse for almost 2 weeks. In general, I feel much better. My question is if I can eat spirulina. and/or Ultimate Meal (mainly is Quinoa, millet, brown rice, yellow pea protein, spirulina and another natural ingredients) as breakfast or lunch.     Spirulina and Ultimate Meal are excellent supplementary products to take in order for your body to receive an adequate amount of protein while on the cleanse.

    Q: What's the best way to start on a vegan/raw food diet? I am not sure what to eat to make sure I would get a nutritious diet-you may not be able to go into that much detail but how can I get sample meal plans for breakfast, lunch and dinner incorporating this type of diet-perhaps there is somewhere on the web I find something like this?     If I do say myself, the best way to start a raw food diet is to be coached by me. I run a 6 month health coaching program that is 60-90 percent raw and 100 percent vegan/gluten free/ allergy free. You can find out more about my program at www.theveganeffect.com.     Here are some other tips to get started.

    1: Join a raw food meetup group or community. Surround yourself with supportive people who can point you in the right direction. Try meetup.org or 30bananasaday.com 

    2: Read books like "beauty detox solution" by snyder, "80/10/10" by Dr. Graham., or "The Paradigm diet" by Adam Dave

    3: Start simple with breakfast. Always start your day with a green smoothie. read "Green smoothie revolution" by forget authors name at the moment. heh.

    A sample meal plan would be.

    Breakfast: Green smoothie

    Bridge: raw bar, handful of nuts or seeds, or fruit

    Lunch: Raw wraps made from collard greens. use a base of tahini, hummus, or nut butter. Fill with sprouts and colorful veggies

    Bridge: raw bar, handful nuts or seeds, or fruit

    Dinner: Raw pasta with a large salad

    Snack: Sorbet

    Q: I am on day 17 of the Full Body Detox. It has been wonderful, although I have slipped up and made some bad food choices I have been able to stick to eating salads and Fruit and nuts. I have lost 5 pounds overall. I have Cogan's Syndrome. I stopped taking my azathioprine, Iron pill, and fish oils while on the Detox. I feel great aside from my Tinnitus in my left ear is ringing tremendously loud. Other than that I feel great. My skin looks so much better. My prednisone steroid hump in my back has gone away. My teeth look whiter. My eyes are whiter. Blemishes are gone. I just don't know what to do after I am done with this detox. I know that I need to continue with this particular diet because it is good to & for me. I can do that, however I just don't want to have low iron, tinnitus, or vertigo spells. What would you recommend I take after the full body cleanse. My mother has seen a difference in me and so has my husband. I love this, I can't wait to see my rheumatologist so he can tell me that my Cogan's Syndrome is in remmission. What should I do next?

    Thank you for sharing this with us. We're so happy to hear that the cleanse is going well for you. We suggest trying the Ear Oil to help bring relief from tinnitus. You can also try the Joint Aid and the MSM Sulfur to help specifically help address arthritis. If you're experiencing eye issues from Cogan's Syndrome we suggest using the Eye Formula. Continuing with a balanced diet is best as it is responsible for some of the success you were able to achieve with the cleanse.     Walnuts are good to eat during the Full Body Cleanse. Distilled water is the best water during the Full Body Cleanse, but your filtered water would also be okay to drink during the cleanse.

    Q: Today was my first day of Full Body Cleanse, but I only made it through formula 1. After taking formula one, I started feeling dizzy and nauseous. I vomited a few times, and then I tried to eat something before taking formula two. Before I could take the pills, I began to vomit again. This was three hours ago, and I still haven't stopped. Blood came up a few times and a few green and yellow fluids. At this point, I have nothing on my stomach and everything I eat comes back up. Please help? I plan to pick back up tomorrow, but I wanted to know if there was something that I could do as to not repeat today's episode and have to leave work sick. Thank you.

    The toxicity in your body is trying to be expelled. Try lowering the dosage with only 2-3 capsules of each formula and see if you can tolerate that, and then try to work your way back up to the 5 capsules once your body assimilates.

    Also, try drinking plenty of soothing Ginger, Peppermint, or Chamomile tea. These are great for your stomach!

    Q: Thank you for always answering my questions. I have about two more. Okay, I'm currently living overseas where I'm limited on raw fresh foods (vegetables and fruits). I want to do the detox but I'm concerned that I won't have everything as far as raw food to be successful. I have access to basics (apples, oranges, bananas, tomatoes, avocados, melons, lettuce, cabbage, bean spouts, carrots, celery, peppers, green beans, peas, bagged nuts,) but nothing exotic by any means. Then I was told to safely eat some of the food in the local economy that we should wash it with a 5% bleach solution (is that safe...and if on the detox I'm thinking that would be a no go). Two questions?Given the mentioned availability of raw foods could I be able to successfully complete the detox (I don't have an issue with eating the same things over and over again) and two what can I do to clean local produce so that its safe for consumption? Apparently part of the issue is that they use human feces to fertilize. Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response

    Yes, it seems you have enough raw food available to you to complete the cleanse.

    In order to clean local produce, rinse thoroughly with apple cider vinegar to "disinfect" it. If apple cider vinegar is unavailable, just use water.

    Q: Today makes day 9 of my FULL BODY DETOX (FBD). This morning I have an outbreak on my hand. I have been practicing telling myself I am Healing, but my job is stressful and yesterday I had a stressful day and this morning the outbreak on my right hand. Could this be part of my healing process? Can you suggest what I can do to alleviate the stress at work so this will not block my healing process of herpes? I am following the diet; however I have been kind of burnt out at times on the salads so I at least eat a salad and a bowl of steamed brown rice and frozen green peas that are steamed for 3 min. Is that considered following the diet? I still eat my fruit for breakfast daily, my salad for lunch and steamed broccoli (5min) and for dinner another salad, but for a few days I have eaten the rice and steam green peas. I basically want to know is it alright so if I eat it in the future.

    A:

    You have to learn to deal with your stress and stop reacting to it. Your subconscious mind is greatly blocked and therefore you have to realize your healing will come very slow. At a deep level you still believe herpes is incurable and your body is giving you this (despite the healing crisis of outbreaks on the hand). Your dietary deviation is understandable and not that bad but if you are tiring of salads opt for other things to eat.     Q: Is it alright to drink part of your fruits and veggies? I have a fruit smoothie for breakfast, and veggie drink in between lunch and dinner, nuts and a piece of fruit in between and a salad and a piece of fruit for dinner.

    Q: I'm currently on day 3 of the FULL BODY DETOX and would like to know what exactly I can eat. I've only had water, tea, and oranges for breakfast, salads for lunch and dinner with a few cashew nuts in between. I would like to know exactly what you mean by combining foods together. Example, oranges and apples, are you saying they're not to be eaten together? If not, why?

    The ALTERNATIVE DIET AND LIFESTYLES MANUAL list great food alternatives during the detox. Food combining means do not eat foods not in the same category. Don't mix an acid fruit with a melon fruit. Don't mix fruit with vegetables. Don't mix acid fruit with sweet fruit, etc. Eat sweet fruit with other sweet fruit. Eat sub-acid fruit with sub-acid fruit. You wouldn't eat an orange (acid fruit) with an apple (sub-acid fruit). They are not in the same family.

    Q: I just finished your FULL BODY DETOX and ANTI-VIRAL CLEANSE AND REGIMEN). I do feel much better however I am still having a constant discharge from my penis foreskin. Dr's who have looked at it say it is not herpes but if not then what? It has discharged since mid November and has not stopped. There is no pain associated with it directly but whenever a get tingling in my feet it feels that that as is the source of the problem. Someone told me they had tingling because of acidic body but then what about this discharge? Is it an infection? All normal STD's were negative but after hearing what the Dr's said I didn't get a blood test. Again I want to say that I think your products are fantastic and have made me much healthier. I did eat some sushi with brown rice, avocado, and kim chi after the kit and woke up the next morning with a headache and sore throat. Also I felt a throb under one of my arms which I had prior to taking the anti-viral kit. Maybe a lymph node? I had a number of raw food meals at a restaurant that used dehumidifier and nuts or seeds in most of their things and would also feel the tingling sometimes after eating this. I have read on some sites that herpes can be set off by nuts so I'm wondering. Anyway where should I go now to completely clear my body of any of these penis sensations discharges and tingling? Also I wanted to say that wow I have had a lot of mucus coming out of my body and my guess is there is probably more that wants to come.

    Your solution is not in anything external such as the kits (FULL BODY DETOX (FBD) and ANTI-VIRAL CLEANSE AND REGIMEN). They only assist you. Your chronic problem means further work. Keep detoxing, eating a strict diet, etc. until the discharge goes away. Also, you are being compelled by your body to reassess and revise some things pertaining to your sexual belief system. The problem is with the penis so the underlying problem is pertaining to your sexuality. Tell you what: concentrate on your colon and reproductive system. Alternate between the FBD and the TOTAL MALE CLEANSE until you get your results. Healing requires patience! But deal with the underlying problem! What have you been doing sexually or what are your beliefs pertaining to sex? Are they healthy? You have a discharge because something (belief, thought) needs to be discharged.

    Q: I am getting ready to go in the field for 3 days with the Military, and there will not be a variety of food to choose from. I started the WEIGHT RELEASE CLEANSE AND REGIMEN on 08-Jul-08. I know that I can still drink the master cleanse in the morning and drinking the tea. My only problem is the food. Will it be okay to eat some of the food and start right back to eating the right food on Monday?

    Q: I just completed the Full Body Cleanse about two weeks ago and started the Pancreas Formula for my pancreas... I don?t have the money for the full kit but after the Full Body Cleanse I?ve notice my blood averaging +-200.....it had reached a low of 124 during detox. I bought cromium and have used it since the onset of detox at about 1200 mcg per day! My Pancreas is a piece of crap!!!!! I haven?t had ANY thing with added sugar or artificial, just green tea with stevia to sweeten it. NO Treats! The only regular food I get now is like lean cuisine type once or twice a day with fresh vegetables or fresh made Veg juice....I had went from 327lbs to 289lbs during detox but since I?ve went back up settling at about 296 and stable. I have cut everything I love out of my life! No Sugar, No Milk Products. About 6 ounces of meat A WEEK eat mostly live vegetables yet I see a Pancreas that needs to be punished for ruining my life!!!!! I try to help it and this is what it does for me! I don?t know what to do next.

    Q: Today is day 14 of my FULL BODY DETOX Journey. About 70% of my upper body is covered in red, painful eczema. I have been taking the sea salt baths but the peroxide on my face stings so I haven't continued doing it. I am trying to stay positive on this journey amidst the difficulty of walking around with red rashly peeling skin and painful, uncomfortable nights. I’m wondering where I go from here. I have 3 colonics line up this week and am trying to be even more diligent and have added wheatgrass and some flax evening primrose to my regimen. Should I expect that on my last day of this detox I will be covered in eczema and upon finishing the herbs it will go away? I just want to set realistic expectations for once the process is complete.     Healing takes time so please take things one day at a time, Beloved! Live in the moment! Don't worry about the future and future outcomes! Live in the day (today)!     Q: I just got finished the Full Body Detox, and feeling good. But I still have the issue I was hoping the detox would take care of. I seem to have some swelling or puffiness under my ear; it seems to be the mucus gland, and or the lymph nodes by my jawbone near my ear, in the morning it always feels like there?s water in my ear. What would u suggest, I was thinking about the parasite cleanse, and I still have some sinus issues. I'm in MD and would like to get an ear coning cleaning, a foot detox, and a colonic, do u know of places in MD, or D.C.? Thanks again.

    Glad to hear your detox went well. Sounds like a lot of mucus buildup in the ear area. I suggest ear coning and lymphatic massage. Herb-wise, give the Parasite and Worm Kit and regimen a try; for sinus problems I recommend Sinus Formula and Mucus Buster. The Foot Detox and a colonic will do you wonders. However, I don't know of any places or practitioners of such therapies. However, a Dherbs resource is coming soon to help in situations like this.     Q: Greetings, I have started the full body detox today, but want to continue working out, and lifting weights; however, I see a note to stay away from weight lifting. Can you explain why please!? Thank you!

    A: You can exercise while doing the cleanse, but we suggest only engaging in light cardio instead of any intense workouts. Because you're on an adjusted diet that consists of mainly fruits and vegetables, you may burn through the foods faster as opposed to when you workout while consuming carbs or starchy foods. You should see what your body can personally handle if you wish to continue with weight lifting.
