Day 10

dherbs-journey-720x340-2

I’m at the halfway mark with mixed feelings about the continuing.

I feel my commitment to the program failing; simple put I want to eat regular food. Don’t get me wrong; this program delivers on what it can do – clearer skin, more energetic and weight loss. I just want something to eat besides raw foods.
I think I’ll continue the program because I haven’t reached the goal I set for myself – under 200pds and I want to know that I can accomplish this for my own health.

Q: Yes indeed, the Full Body Cleanse Program truly works. I am so very glad that I persevered through the program. I took it like a champ after my first two initial days and the more my body expelled, the easier it was for me to complete the program. I look and feel wonderful!! I have to tell you that I really appreciate you and all the inspiration that I have received from the Dherbs staff. You are all top quality, just like your products. I'll be looking out for the weight loss regimen because I know your company doesn't half-step. Therefore, I'm bound to have results with following the instructions. I will always be one of your regular customers, as well as a walking testimony to all I meet.

Q: As a diet controlled diabetic I question being able to change my diet(to raw/live foods) while I keep up the same rigorous exercise and fitness program without suffering from too many low readings of which I am prone. The program has gotten me off insulin.I also have diverticulitis and seeds and nuts have been a problem for me in the past. Any suggestions?

    A:

Thanks for the question. I hope this helps. If you are under a doctors supervision I am forbidden to give you any advice that may alter a doctors advice. They have little to no nutritional training but their word trumps everyone.

What I can do is point you in the direction of programs getting the results you desire. Those three are Dr. Neil M. Barnards "program for preventing and reversing diabetes" (DVD,book), Dr. Gabriel Cousins "Raw in 30" program (DVD) and "There is a cure for diabetes" (book), and recently The Gerson Therapy has released a program for diabetes (book).

The common denominator in all three programs is a low fat vegan diet. The differences are that Barnard's program is a cooked vegan diet while Cousins' and Gerson's program are raw. All get results but the raw programs have a 75 percent success rate in 1 month where as the cooked version of Barnards get results in 6 months. Big difference.

I have gotten people off of insulin in around 2 months using a high raw and low fat vegan diet. I use no oils and nuts. I do encourage avocados and seeds for fats. However, with diverticulitis you must avoid seeds until your body repairs itself through a high alkaline diet. I suggest getting a bulk of your fats from avocados and coconut. I usually limit myself to a half an avocados worth of fat a day.

I would look into those books first and if you are under a doctors supervision bring those materials to him/her and see what they say.

    I hope this helps.

Q: Can chaparral cause the thyroid to become overactive? I went to the Dr's a couple of weeks ago and she stated that my thyroid had become overactive. It was under active which caused me to become over weight. When I had my youngest son about 12 years ago it was very overactive and the Dr's didn't want to attribute it to just having a baby which may have knocked my hormones crazy. Now this Dr wants me to go thru a lot of tests. And I know my recent weight loss of 50 pounds has come from being on an herbal regiment program. I haven't told the Dr what I'm doing and she hasn't asked, so I'm not going to say anything. I also take a multi vitamin which is herb based.

    A:

We recommend that you take the Thyroid Formula, Iodine Formula, and Electric Greens Combo, all available in our online store. Chaparrall is and herb and will not harm the body.

Q: Re: Daily Regimen for Weight Loss, Inflammation, and Staying Regular. Hello, I used the full detox and loved it. I lost 15 lbs and would like to continue using something natural to help with the weight loss. Also, quite honestly I loved the ease of the bm's. Even before I began the detox, I have limited my carb intake and it is almost painful to go to the bathroom now and laxatives can be very harsh on the stomach. So, if you could please recommend a daily regimen of dherbs that I can take that would be greatly appreciated. By the way - though I enjoyed the healthy regimen, I can not do salads everyday so don't even suggest it! LOL Thank You! Weight Loss Inflamation

A: Congrats on your success with the cleanse, we're happy to hear that you enjoyed it. If you're looking to stop inflammation within the body, continue to recondition your bowels and lose additional weight it would be best for you to cleanse again. It's safe to do the cleanses back to back. A lot of foods contribute inflammation and not being regular in regards to the bowels. If you keep a balanced diet you'll be able to achieve your goals. Raw food doesn't just mean salads. The main purpose for the raw food diet was to benefit from the foods and to give your body a break from the foods it’s accustom to. You’re giving your body everything that it NEEDS. Most people are successful with the cleanse and the diet when you open yourself up to the change. The diet was not intended to be a challenge, it's to benefit from live foods that help your body. If you decide to cleanse again, we suggest embracing the diet and trying new types of raw meals.

Q: Dherbs.com, I wanted to update you on my experience with the WEIGHT RELEASE CLEANSE AND REGIMEN; I am on the third week of the program (almost finished) and I have lost 25 pounds thus far and still releasing weight. Although, I know the program calls for all raw foods; I have had a few days where I did not follow the plan (i.e. I had some cooked vegetable dishes and some Quinoa). Although I know this is a no-no; I wanted you to know that in spite of my disobedience; I have still released waste. I am now ready to know what's next. Would you recommend the full body detox? I am still overweight for my frame...and I am more interested in lifestyle changes than temporary fixes. I have been vegetarian for the last year. Thanks for your wonderful products.

    A:

Great testimony and kudos to you! We would recommend that you continue to detox (FULL BODY DETOX) to release that unnecessary weight (waste). For lifestyle change, Dherbs is the place to be (articles, e-books, videos, etc.).

Q: I heard that regular detoxing removes toxins from the body, but in order to get heavy metals such as mercury, arsenic, etc. You have to do a special/certain type of detox design to remove heavy metals. Do your detox program remove heavy metals from the body? BTW I have large amounts of arsenic and mercury in my body. I notice your detox program is 3 weeks and most holistic practitioners say it takes 3-6 months to rid the body of heavy metals through chelation. If your detox program removes heavy metals do I have to do several iterations to totally remove heavy metals to an acceptable level?

    A:

The Full Body Cleanse removes heavy metals from the body via the use of activated charcoal. No other product removes heavy metal toxins like activated charcoal (carbon). Now if your focus is mainly on removing heavy metals, we suggest you use liquid bentonite clay (every other day while on the detox) and also drink plenty of vegetable juice that has plenty of cilantro in it. Cilantro is an excellent heavy metal remover, especially for mercury (due to mercury amalgam in the mouth).

You don't have to cleanse for 3-6 months straight to remove heavy metals. You simply detox (Full Body Cleanse), add liquid bentonite clay, cilantro juice, perform castor oil packs for liver cleanses, get colonics performed and do enemas (coffee enemas), drink oxygenated water (1 ounce every 30 minutes), fast (once you're off the detox); perform hot water soaks in 2-3 boxes of sea salt, etc.

Q: I'm wondering which program I should do first, weight release or detox. I'm 340lbs 5'11. I'm looking to lose mass more than weight. I also want to rid the toxins in my body. Would I get better results if I detoxed before release?

    A:

Detox with the FULL BODY DETOX first followed by the WEIGHT RELEASE CLEANSE AND REGIMEN.

Q: I started the Full Body Cleanse program on August 25th. Three days later, detox symptoms became so severe that I discontinued taking it on September 4th. However, I want to resume but feel that I need some assistance from you in terms of what might be the best way to do so in order that I can continue with my daily activities. Symptoms of most concern included: uncontrollable coughing, tightness in chest, increased blood pressure and severe headache. When I noted that the symptoms were increasing in intensity, I discontinued taking the Full Body Cleanse herbs,(after 10 days). 3 days after discontinuing the programs, the symptoms have subsided to a degree that I can continue with my daily activities. I want to resume the program but want to do so at a rate that I can function during the day and sleep at night without hours of intensive coughing. What suggestions do you have? About me: I am AA 60 Y.O. female who has been a raw vegan for the past 7 years. My doctor insists that I remain on the following medications: Levoxyl Tab 0.05 mg; Avapro 150mg; and Estradiol patch for thyroid condition, hypertension and menopause, respectively. Noteworthy, I discontinued taking all med 3 days prior to starting Full Body Cleanseand have not starting taking them again. My goal is to be free of such poisons.

    A:

To continue the Full Body Cleanse, cut dosage from 5 capsules to 2-3 capsules. It is a very powerful cleanse. The symptoms you are experiencing is part of the healing crisis taking place. The herbal supplements are trying to counteract the toxicity in your body, and thus attempting to rid of them via one of your major eliminative channels.

Q: What Is Codex Alimentarius? The Codex Alimentarius Commission was created in 1963 by FAO and WHO to allegedly develop food standards, guidelines and related texts such as codes of practice under the Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Program. The main purposes of this Program allegedly are protecting the health of the consumers and ensuring fair trade practices in the food trade, and promoting coordination of all food standards work undertaken by international governmental and non-governmental organizations.

    A:

Will Codex Alimentarius Threaten the Existence of Dherbs? Codex Alimentarius will not and does not threaten the existence of Dherbs.com. At Dherbs.com we don't even worry about Codex Alimentarus. As we believe in and practice the Law of Attraction, we only focus on what we desire, not what we don't desire. Dherbs.com has a very proficient legal department with qualified and skill legal minds. People can protest Codex Alimentarius by writing their elected officials (Congressmen/Senators) with their dissent and also signing petitions to prevent new Codex Alimentarius proposed legislation from being enacted into law. These petitions are usually sent out via e-mail by selected individuals and organizations concerned with medical and health freedom initiatives.

Q: I recently completed the Full Body Detox, which I loved. Now, 2 months later, I am very interested in the weight release program. Last year, I lost 40 lbs in 8 months, in the most healthy way (good nutrition and exercise). This year, I slowly started gaining weight back, and 1 year later, I continue to gain weight much more quickly. I am still working out regularly, and eating well. Would you recommend the Weight Release Kit? I am looking to take off 20 lbs at the most. Is that realistic for this formula? However, I want to build muscle and strength as well. Can I maintain the results of the program with the directed nutrition plan, and add white meat for protein (chicken, turkey, tuna). I am also wondering if the formulas simply release excess weight, or can I expect to lose inches and lower my body fat percentage? Thanks for your time and dedication to natural health!

    A:

Glad to hear about your success with the Full Body Detox!

I would highly recommend the Weight Release Kit and Regimen. NO MEAT though! Try vegan alternatives if you must have something - but no meats!

You will release weight (waste)! Your weight is nothing but waste!

Q: I have been experiencing diabetes for 14 years, using insulin twice daily along with another diabetes control pill (januvia). This has all been to no avail as I continue to suffer from the disease along with hypertension. As someone who has practiced spiritual principles for many, many years, I feel that I am pretty much in tune with my True Spirit. However, I realize that my eating habits and the use of medications are aiding in the continuance of the seeming illness. I would love to try your product but I have for many years suffered from a lost of control of appetite. The only program that has ever really helped to decrease my appetite was Atkins diet, which is near impossible to stay with. I lost weight and the sugars decreased. However, I was not able to continue eating only meats and virtually no fruit or veggies and therefore gained all the weight back. I even has a lap band inserted, which did nothing for the decrease of my appetite and I consequently found foods to eat which would go through the band. Please help!!

    A:

Your situation is psychological and emotional in nature. Our Pancreas kit will greatly assist you (physically) in healing from diabetes. Please read our "Diabetes" article to better understand this insidious disease. You have work to do within, Beloved!

Q: I am thinking about purchasing your Full Body Cleanse program, but I am concerned about one thing... too much weight lost. I am already thin, and do not want to fade away as I think three weeks on nothing but raw fruits and veggies may leave me looking sick. What is your suggestion? Are there any foods high in protein I can eat while cleansing? Also, thank you so much for your wisdom and insight. I listen to you on Blake Radio, and one of the reasons why I am buying your product is because you speak with so much passion. There are a lot of cleaning products out there, and to be perfectly honest, I have been so overwhelmed by the products out there that I ended up not buying anything. At any rate, thank you for your time and let please let me know if you have any suggestions on keeping up my weight while I cleanse.

    A:

If you are concerned about getting enough food while maintaining a raw foods diet over a 20-day period, make sure you are consuming plenty of healthy fats to keep you full and satiated. Avocado, Coconut Cream or Oil, Raw Nuts, Raw Seeds, are great sources of nutrients and healthy fats that will keep you from losing weight.

To get the protein you need, you can try making a smoothie with Vegan Protein Powder.

Q: Hey Gary here are my challenge I'm 43 been trying to lose weight, I start on a program and stop once I don't see any results. I tried the Detox I think I lost about 5 pounds, I work at night and have a part time jobs seeing private patients in the day so my sleep pattern is little maybe I get 4 hrs of sleep I'm having problems getting this weight off. I also want to mention when I do exercise my joints swell so I try to keep it low impact. I also have sweet tooth so I get these cravings here and there more so when I'm at work at night. Hopefully you can help me. Thanks....Lakeisha

    A:

    Hi, thanks for the question.

Lets go through one thing at a time. Your overall schedule and lifestyle is not healthy and will likely sabotage your health goals. Receiving so little sleep will prevent major weight loss because your body cannot cleanse and cannot recharge. You must repay your energy debt before you can properly lose weight. Your body is always in a state of playing catch-up to the workload you are giving it. It stores fat because it doesn't have the
energy to properly function. I understand crazy schedules but they will not get you the results you desire. I would focus on trying to find a more balanced or healthier schedule before adding the stress of losing weight to an already overworked body.

Your body has been come toxic and inflamed from a toxic lifestyle. A high carb-high raw vegan diet will help ease your suffering the most. A high carb (fruit based) diet will help replenish your energy stores and reduce
nutritional stress. To learn more about how a healthy vegan diet can help you reach your goals please consider the following eBooks found at Dherbs.com.

"Go Vegan the Healthy way" or
    "Lose weight the healthy way"

As far as your mindset is concerned an all or nothing approach rarely breeds success. Especially when it come to regaining health or losing weight. It takes time and patience. I would recommend checking out the DVD
"fat sick and nearly dead". It's a fascinating look at how you can quickly go from a health zero to a health hero in the shortest time. Every single person on the planet has a sweet tooth. Those who say they don't usually are hopped up on caffiene or other drugs and pharmaceuticals. Every cell in the body runs on glucose. The brain eats up a small apple and a half worth of glucose every hour. Eating a high carb-lower fat diet will give you an energy abundance, reduce overall stress, and help you lose weight.

    Hope this helps,

Q: I am having difficulty urinating, I am overweight, bad health, heart conditions, torn quad in right knee. I am starting a physical therapy program as I email you. Two questions, will I need doctors permission to start taking a herbal program. And which one do you recommend to start.

    A:

You don't need a doctor's permission to take herbs. God told you to take herbs. I suggest you begin the FULL BODY DETOX Cleanse a.s.a.p. and follow it up by the 10-DAY SUPREME COLON CLEANSE.

Q: Hi, I'm a 36 year old African/American woman with 4 children whose been trying to lose weight off and on for the past 16 years. I lose the weight but then I gain it right back after I go off of my diet. I know that I need a good body/colon cleanse, but what I need to learn how to do is to eat the right food's to keep my body healthy. I've been conditioned to eat the foods that I do eat, I need to know how do I go about "de-programming" myself from the bad food's and program myself to want and crave the healthy one's? I'm open to any suggestion's you have, even using crystals and meditation. Thank you.

    A:

Time is limited here in "Ask the Herbalist" so I humbly request you consider a full length health consultation. However, I can tell you that you'd greatly benefit from a FULL BODY DETOX Cleanse.

Q: I am interested in starting the Full Body Detox program. At this time, I would like to know which program is best for me. At current, I have started removing things from my diet as of 2 weeks ago (pork, chicken, red meat, I'm trying with the fish but it's hard!) I am not eating cheese but I still eat yogurt and every now and then I will eat a boiled egg (egg whites). I have removed soda from my diet, no coffee, I drink herbal or green tea, pomegranate juice or orange juice and I drink filtered water (I have a countertop filter that I change every 6 months and the Brita pitcher that I change every 2 months). Along with the supplement, is there an eating plan that you can suggest for me? I am eating more fruits and vegetables, but I would welcome suggestions on certain foods that I can eat while I begin my cleansing.

    A:

The Full Body Detox kit comes with a prescribed dietary plan and notifies a person what they can and cannot eat during the detox.

Q: I tried Sugar Buster recently, did not have the effect I (thought). Should I continue to use, or is there another product I should consider? My reason for asking is I am about to start a (fat) loss program and I recognize that sweets/chocolate is my problem. Not necessarily food in an of itself. Please explain how you were taking SUGAR BUSTER.

    A:

Ideally, 3 capsules should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach. When cravings are strong, and addition 3 capsules should be taken in the course of the day, or after you have eaten something sweet.

Q: Last week was my first week on the detox program. I have a question about the charcoal - what is it used for? I know that it is part of the detox program, but what organ does it help to cleanse? I have stopped all meat and dairy products with no problem- but I am still having a difficult time with the sweet cravings. Any suggestions?

    A:

Activated Charcoal aids the detoxification process by helping eliminate toxins and heavy metals.

For sweet cravings, you can eat as much fresh fruit as you'd like while on the cleanse. After your cleanse is finished, you may wish to consume Sugar Control Formula to address those cravings.
