NYNY Tanya – Day 42

I ran my errands today and stopped by the grocery store to get me food for the week. My funds have been in limbo the last few weeks so I havent been able to do my extensive shopping as I usually do. While in wholefoods, I wondered if you can’t tell what is genetically modified or not, can you really be eating healthy? I saw a few articles on the effects of GMO’s on pregnant women and their unborn child and how gmo’s also effect the growth of infants and couldn’t help but wonder, how can you really tell GMO from organic? Can you still call it organic if its a GMO? If it was grown organically but the seeds were genetically modified is it organic? All of this is new to me. I thought if you have an apple, its an apple and its healthy and good for you to eat. Now all of a sudden (or maybe not all of a sudden) its not. I can only hope I am doing the right thing and detox every few months and will have a good long life as well as my kids whenever I decide to have them.

Kale Salad with Pine Nuts and Dried Cranberies

Quinoa Salad with Sun Dried Tomatoes

Exercise:
Walking
