Day 3

Day 3

Day 3 was not so bad. I made myself a mushroom salad which tasted very good to me. The ingredients were baby bella mushrooms, green peppers, red peppers and onions. I only used a dressing with olive oil sea salt and cayenne pepper. For breakfast and snacks I had raw fruits.

Day 2

Day 2

The hard part of going raw vegan and detoxing is that it is easy to get hungry when you exercise if you are not sure what exactly to eat for protein. I added hemp seeds to my Kale, Cucumber and Key Lime Juice. Although I felt a little week during exercising I know adding the hemp seeds made me stronger than simply a green veggie drink.

Day 1

Day 1

Day 1 on the Full Body Cleanse is a little challenging and I am hungry. To make the cleanse more effective I am drinking only Kale, Cucumber, Key Lime and a Cayenne Smoothie. I am doing this for the first five days and see how it goes.

Day 2

Day 2

Today is my second day and let me tell you that I must have ate something wrong within the last few weeks or so. I finished my first day pills and activated charcoal just fine. When I awoke this morning, I have an incredible pain in my stomach. I chalked it up to the cleanse and went about getting ready. My partner ever so kindly informed me that she took 3 bowel movements for the morning and it must be her cleanse. I told her to relax and everything would be alright. Well boy did…

Let The Cleansing Begin!

Let The Cleansing Begin!

I started my cleanse yesterday on 10/25. My partner also started her 10 day blood cleanse which is a morale booster for me knowing that I don’t have to do this entirely alone. Unlike myself, I didn’t prepare my meals for the first day. I ended up eating stir fried rice with avocado for lunch. Dinner- steamed broccoli, carrots, and roasted peanuts. I wouldn’t say that I did terrible but I wish I followed the plan. Because of my guilt, I went to the grocery store and bought berries, apples, sweet potatoes,…

Waiting Time

Waiting Time

I finally made the purchase for my second 20 Day Full Body Cleanse. I cannot wait until I get it within the mail.My first cleanse helped me with eliminating 75% meat intake along with junk food. I do not eat much foods containing high fructose corn syrup. I’m hoping that this round will help with eliminating more of my meat intake and of course help with my overall well being. The cleanse also helped with clearing my mind, in which I had more opportunities to read. I’ve balanced myself and my chakras,…

Day 13 – 14

Day 13 – 14

Weekend was good, I got in a few workouts and weight is going down. I’m getting a little concerned about bowel movements they were happening everyday, a few times a day. I think its due to my juicing all of my meals. I’m having a salad for dinner tonight and incorporating them back into my meal plans for the last 6 days. No nuts for me; they hinder my progress, lol. I posted on my other blog that I was putting my head back in the game meaning – I’m going to push myself for the duration of…

Day 12

Day 12

I’m down to 202 pounds, just happy to be back on track! I’m keeping my workouts to cardio and 1 day of boot camp. I’ve found that I’m not really hungry but making sure I eat. On a TMI note, my bowels aren’t going like in the beginning – but I’m peeing a lot. I’ve experienced a few stomach cramps; wondering if I should be drinking more fluids or eating a salad a day instead of juicing all my meals. I’ll make a few adjustments to see if it helps. I’m getting…

Day 11

Day 11

After having a great consultation with a Dherbs representative and a good talk with myself – I’m going to finish this program strong. I must say the rep gave me some good advice, answer my questions & concerns and encouraged me to continue. Got on the scale this morning – 1 pound gone – I’m back losing! I took away the nuts because I can’t just have a few – realized I was eating way to many of those lol. I learned that I can do the distilled water all the way through…

Day 10

Day 10

I’m at the halfway mark with mixed feelings about the continuing. I feel my commitment to the program failing; simple put I want to eat regular food. Don’t get me wrong; this program delivers on what it can do – clearer skin, more energetic and weight loss. I just want something to eat besides raw foods. I think I’ll continue the program because I haven’t reached the goal I set for myself – under 200pds and I want to know that I can accomplish this for my own health.

Day 8

Day 8

I ate regular food last evening – it wasn’t planned I really don’t know why, but I did. I think I was just starving after my boot camp class and I caved because I wasn’t prepared food-wise. I got up this morning determined to see this process to the end. Taking my pills, eating the right foods, and making good choices. Back in the game!!!!

Day 6

Day 6

My first and hopefully only slip. We had company over, I cooked and felt it would be rude to not eat with them. I kept it down to Amish chicken and green veggies. I’m back on the program and determined to finish strong. I’m starting my regular workouts this week too.
