I am a woman who happens to be diabetic and now I am pregnant. I would like to know what foods I should eat and restrain from while I am still pregnant. I am also taking insulin to keep my blood
sugar levels low enough as not to harm my baby. They are telling me I need to eat dairy and meat to meet the dietary requirements for a healthy baby. Please help me.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. New life is such a wonderful thing!
We recommend that you drink our Pancreas tea (1-2 cups a day).
Eat plenty of cinnamon, ginger, and cayenne pepper. Abstain from dairy products and meat products. If anything, eat meat-less (vegan) alternatives — you can find plenty in our Alternative Diet and Lifestyle Manual ($11).
Eat plenty of nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables. You can eat steamed vegetables and brown and/or wild rice (with vegan chicken if you like). Just switch meat for vegan products and switch to non-dairy products or dairy alternatives (which can be found in the Alternative Diet and Lifestyle manual) in order to receive the necessary nutrition without any harmful side effects.
For natural sugar, try Stevia, Agave Nectar, and/or Grade B maple syrup.
