I have a 7 month old baby girl name Neffera. I breast fed her for about 4 1/2 months. I have been giving her soy infant formula and really do not feel right about it. I also have been giving her
the Gerber organic green beans, peas, applesauce, ect. She has a lot of congestion and mucus like I have never seen before ever in a baby. I am not sure what has caused all of this mucus, but I want
to strengthen her immune system and feed her better. What do you suggest?

Wow, Beloved! I’ll tell you what caused all that mucus: the soy-based infant formula which is crap!!!! Plus, those baby foods. Gerber’s is CRAP!!!!! You must undo the damage you unintentionally
done via ignorance. Please read our article on “ALTERNATIVE INFANT FORMULA MILK” and learn to make alternative
formulas for your baby. You must also start making your own baby food. You must do these things to reverse the serious harm you’ve done to your baby. All wrong can be righted by doing the right
thing. I would highly, highly, highly recommend you schedule a 1-hour health consultation (only $100) a.s.a.p. There’s just so much that needs to be explained to you so that child can make a speedy
recovery. Time here won’t allow it, so a consultation is best!

Q: I am African American and I have a two-week-old baby girl. I breast feed her, she still spits up all the time and sometimes it comes out through her nose. Saliva builds up in her mouth where it is difficult for her to breathe. She has thick white film on her tongue, and she has small tiny red bumps all over her face. I desperately need some advice to cure these ailments.

    A:

Your baby's colon is taxed and it sounds like from YOUR diet. Watch what you eat for your baby's sake. Start taking MUCUS BUSTER FORMULA and DHERBS 10-DAY SUPREME COLON CLEANSE. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Her face is breaking out because her colon is not working. The skin is the largest organ of elimination so the skin is being used to help the baby eliminate!

Q: I am breastfeeding a 3-month-old baby girl and have severe constipation. I may go a week without a bowel movement. This is not normal and very painful. When I do finally go, it is very hard stool. What is safe for me, and my child to help alleviate the problem without losing my milk supply?

    A:

A laxative will not impair your milk supply. Try our BOWEL MOVER and/or COLON FORMULA.

Q: I have a question, my baby girl is 11 months old and this Friday I notice that she has a big eye and too much tear so I clean and wash the eye with chamomile and I just reading about this plant call clary sage they call the cleary eye so can you please tell me if it can help us.

    A:

Yes, the actual plant is what you want to use. Not the essential oil. Any flower (i.e. chamomile, chrysanthemum, calendula or marigold, passionflower, etc.) will help the eyes.

Q: Do you have any herbs for baby reflux? My daughter gives her baby boy soymilk. I told her soy milk makes mucus among other reasons. What other alternative for soymilk other than breast milk?

    A:

Make a tea using anise seed and/or caraway seed, sweeten it with maple syrup, and add a little lemon and put in a baby bottle and give to the baby. However, remove the acid foods. Tell her to use hemp, almond, or rice milk. They are far better than soy milk.

Q: I recently purchased the Children's Cleanse (Liquid) to clean out my 6 month old baby boy. The problem is, every time the mucus comes up he quickly swallows it back down. What do you suggest I do?

    A:

The mucus the child swallows back down will leave the body via the stools. When the child is older, he/she will learn to spit the mucus out. The body knows how to eliminate what is not wanted in the body.

Q: I made the alternative baby formula for my 3 month old yesterday, and she drank all of it! However, I just did some research online and wanted to know what your take on a warning I found online. Caution: Irish Moss has some blood thinning properties, So people taking anti-coagulating medications should avoid using it. Pregnant or breast-feeding patients should avoid it. Infants shouldn't be given Irish moss because it may suppress the immune system. Patients with underlying bleeding disorders or hypotension should use Irish moss with caution. Please Advise?

    A:

A bunch of BS! Don't believe the hype! Sea moss is 100% nutrition with no adverse side effects!

Q: Thank you for the great advice! :) Our baby has had baby eczema since infancy; however it looks as though it is now getting worse. She has always been and continues to be breastfed; we have supplemented with formula and Gerber baby products once she was ready for solids. She is now eating foods such as oatmeal, whole milk (sometimes we tradeoff between that and baby formula), various fruits and vegetables, meats such as chicken, turkey and beef, pasta, bread, beans, rice, etc. She seems to be more interested in eating carbohydrates than anything else. Also, another question we have is pertaining to my wife's acne and melasma problem which she has had for several years since adolescence (acne) and since she started using contraceptives (melasma). She also has a few crow's feet around her eyes which she would like to get rid of. Do you have any advice and or recommendations for treating these problems? Once again, thank you for the advice and we greatly appreciate your help/suggestions.

    A:

The baby's diet is unfortunately conducive to eczema. It is greatly acid-forming and needs to be changed immediately. For your wife, have her begin her healing journey by performing the FULL BODY DETOX.

Q: My wife just get baby so she's busy with breast feeding. Some of the midwife suggested to use additional vitamin K. My question is should we used it or is there natural ways to give the infant vitamin K?

    A:

When infants are breast fed, they receive all the nutrients from the milk of the mother and the foods that she is consuming.  The infant can naturally get more vitamin k by having the mother consume more foods that are rich in the vitamin.  Foods that have a high source of Vitamin K include dried basil, thyme or parsley, green leafy vegetables like kale, spinach, mustard greens, Brussels Sprouts, Asparagus, olive oil and dried fruits like prunes, blueberries and peaches.  The diet of a mother that is breastfeeding is very important to the health of the infant.  We suggest trying the Electric Greens combo as it helps provide plant-based nutrients that are beneficial to the health of the mother and the child.

Q: Hi I have a soon to be 5 month old. What are your thoughts about how long a mother should breast-feed? What foods should be introduced? I currently breast feed, and what to keep my sons immunity up. Thanks!

    A:

The proper time for solid foods is at the time the teeth come in (for chewing purposes). However, you can feed a baby puree'd foods beginning at age 6 months. A woman should breastfeed if she can for 2 years, or until the teeth come in and/or the baby doesn't want breastmilk anymore. The first foods should be puree'd fruits followed by vegetables. But never grains (at least for the first 2 years of life).

Q: I know your very busy, but I would be very appreciative if you could help me in any way that you can. I'm 22 with a 7 month old baby, with no support from my family. Over the last 3 months the father decided that he doesn't love me anymore, and has done an obscene about of things to disrespect me. Which leaves me hurt, and stressed out! I'm mentally, spiritually, and physically drained. I have no peace of mind, and I tend to fall in and out of depression. I feel like I'm going to breakdown, and the tears just won't stop falling. I'm trying to keep it together for my baby. Internally, I've been hurt so bad, I just feel like giving up. How can you love someone one minute, and the next not care for them at all? How do I deal with her father? I'm so tired of being the bigger person, and trying to work through things. He just doesn't care at all, and he makes no effort to even try. He then turns around and says, "He cares about his daughter". I try to explain to him that our relationship affects her, but he always has an answer for everything. I don't mean to dampen you with my problems, but I would appreciate it if you could not only hear me, but feel me and what I'm going through. Every little bit helps

    A:

Greetings, Beloved! You are upset because you expect something and expectation is your problem. You are expecting something beyond your control, expecting something coming from another person you can't control. Just do you and let karma take care of this dude. You just can't up and not love someone anymore. He's either saying that so as to bounce from the scene (leave) and his responsibilities or he never loved you in the first place and perhaps used you for his own purposes of sexual gratification and you ended up getting pregnant. At either rate, just do you and focus on you - what you desire for you and your child. Think positive! Let go of the situation involving this dude. Start on it TODAY! The dude is selfish and creating karma! Release him! You can't make a person do something that is not in them to do.

Q: I am a 28 year old mother of a 23 month old daughter. My husband, and I are striving to get pregnant again. I have read that because I am still nursing that will be a problem, is this true? I've had my menstrual cycle since the baby was 6 months, and my cycle is regular. My daughter does nurse periodically during the night, but she isn't ready to wean totally off the breast yet. Any suggestions ,or things I should take in consideration?

    A:

A bunch of BS! Don't believe the hype! Focus on what you desire, and constantly play with the thought in your head. Work your mental science. Please read our Mental Science Manual for more insight into your mental powers and how you can use your mind to get what you want.

Q: I was looking at your recipes for infant milk. I am breast feeding but need to wean. I was interested in giving him rice milk (Rice Dream enriched with vitamin a, c, and other vitamins). However, the website says not for use as infant formula. Why would this not be a good substitute? What would this be lacking? Why is your recipe a complete formula for proper infant nutrition? Please Help a concerned new mom!

    A:

Rice Dream is fortified with SYNTHETIC nutrients (vitamins and minerals) and therefore it's not a good source of organic nutrition. If you use Rice Dream, please fortify it with organic nutrition like Dherbs.com Moringa Seed Extract, and Iodine Phosphate Extract (add 5 dropperfuls of each formula to infant milk).

Q: I have an 8 month old baby that has severe a topic dermatitis as well as food allergies, and other allergies. He is currently on different skin creams and allergy medicine. I would like to know if any of your products could be helpful for him?

    A:

Yes, have him perform the Children's Cleanse. You can drop the extracts into his milk.

Also, apply our Oz-Oil to his skin every day throughout the day.

In addition, the child's diet needs to change. Consider a vegan (vegetarian) diet that is full of fresh fruits and vegetables to give your child the nutrients he needs for his body to function optimally.

Q: My daughter of 21 months has developed what's called baby eczema on her both her arms near the elbows, her wrist, and face. We would really like to heal her from this condition. She itches, and it's hard to have her avoid this. Do you have any advisory for us in healing baby eczema? Btw, we're in Los Angeles as well. Do you have a storefront that we can visit?

    A:

What is the baby eating (consuming) daily? Was she on formula milk? I would recommend giving the baby our BLOOD AND LYMPHATIC TEA to drink (add maple syrup and a lemon juice) in a bottle and apply HEALING SKIN OIL to her skin daily. Read our article entitled "ECZEMA" located in our "Articles" department. Good information!

Q: I really need your help concerning my son. He is only 2 years old, but he has suffered with mucus build up and chest congestion since he was born. I only give him soymilk now. No other dairy. Several times a month he coughs up mucus and it is difficult for him to breath. Do you have something that can help him? He also has to use the nebulizer machine for breathing treatments.

    A:

I recommend you give your son Mullein Leaf Extract or Dherbs Lung Extract. Serve him mullein tea (with maple syrup for sweetness and a little lemon juice) EVERY DAY!

Rub olive oil on his chest and rub in 3-4 drops of Eucalyptus oil, before he goes to bed every night.

Switch from soymilk to almond milk if possible.

Give him plenty of water to drink too!

Q: I am concerned about my wife breast feeding while doing the FULL BODY DETOX. I read two previous responses in the Q&A section. One said it was not ok but the other said that "the herbs get into the milk supply in a portion healthy for the baby so that the baby also benefits from the herbs". So is it okay for her to do the detox?

    A:

Your wife can breast feed while performing the LIQUID CHILDREN DETOX (liquid extracts) . Capsules version may prove to strong for her body.

Q: I am the mother of a 2 yr old that suffers from eczema terribly. Not only does she have eczema she suffers from a host of food allergies. My baby also is very emotional and hyper sensitive. I have worked with herbalists in the past that seemed to help. Doing my research I learned that they were not really helping me but keeping my baby hooked on their remedies instead of teaching me how to keep my baby strong. I don't have a problem purchasing remedies, but this person was upwards of 200-300 per month. I am a single mother and cannot afford that. I have looked into your products and would like to begin my daughter on a regiment that would help her. Right now my daughter is suffering from severe itching of her legs, arms, everywhere and it happens mostly at night or when she feels she has not had her way. Help!!!!!

    A:

All understanding of healing begins with knowledge and healing itself begins in the mind. See your child well and the child will get well. Check out our MENTAL SCIENCE MANUAL. Good reading! Please read our article on "ECZEMA" and "SKIN DISORDER = BLOOD DISORDER" in our articles section. It's not so much about taking products but modifying the diet. Most children with eczema are fed a horrible and poor diet rich in meat, dairy products, refined grains, etc. that only exacerbates the problem. Rub the child's skin down with Shea Butter. Alternate with our HEALING SKIN OIL. The child's bed should be draped in the color blue, the antidote to the color red, the color of burning inflammation. bed sheets, spread, pillows, etc should be blue or light blue. I'd even paint the walls of the child's bedroom sky blue due to its soothing effect. It's a shame that some herbalists are only about the money. At Dherbs, we are all about education which is why our site is laced with so much information. Stay positive and optimistic!
