I work out at the gym at 6am till 7:30am hard six days a week. Since I’m eating raw foods while detoxing, what will help me keep up that same intensity in the gym. Will protein bars or protein
powder help? Maybe you can recommend something? Thank you!

    Q: I have been anemic since my cycle started age 11. In the year 2001 I had the first tranfusion and found out that I had fibroids. At that time they were small. It took three years later to find out that you can shrink them and disolve them from a book called healing fibroids a natural cure. I have always been a heavy bleeder but in 2004 the bleeding got worse where i had to leave work to go to the emergency room. I got IV fliud and was told this is my normal period. I never had to go to the hospital because of bleeding too much. Any way in 2001 I was on the pill and taking iron 3* a day 325ml. Got off the pill because of the weight gain and was still bleeding hard due to everyday stress. 2006 I had two more transfusions with in 5 months of each other. All the doctors want to do is cut me. Well they kept me for four days. Every test and xray done on me and they found nothing wrong with my heart. Good. But what on earth caused the pain. I have not been able to work for the past 3 years. Every time my cycle starts I lose a lot of blood, I am weak, I can't walk like a normal person and my heart is always pounding hard at every little movement I make. I blacked out in the shower in 2007. I am currently taking cold pressed wheat germ oil to put oxygen in my blood and to stop the pain in my chest.     Q: Hello, I'm on day 3 of the FBC and I'm having a really hard time with sweets. It's even more trying because I work in a bakery which I cannot avoid because it is a family owned business and I, myself do a lot of the baking.     Detoxing and fitness. 

    The best way to detox your body is to give it the tools and time necessary to clean house. There are many types of detoxes and many avenues for fitness. The best way to detox is to rest the body while giving it the cleanest foods and herbs. However, some light forms of exercise like yoga, swimming, jogging, pilates are acceptable because they are light and won't require the amount of nutrients to repair and replenish. A raw food detox is sublime and is one fantastic step towards a healthier body and mind. I encourage you to try it. 

    What I would do is scale back on the exercise for the length of the detox and have fun! Go hiking and enjoy nature. A light jog instead of a spin class. I guarantee you will not lose strength or endurance during the detox. Intense exercise increases the bodies need for nutrients and protein. 

    Imagine if you will you have a desk at work. And work keeps piling up and no matter how  you try to efficiently make it through you can't seem to get ahead. What detoxing is designed to do is give yourself the time to clean your desk. The most efficiently way for that to happen is to stop the work from coming in. Heavy exercise may increase your workload. You want your body to be in a cleaning mode and not a repair mode.

    Again I would continue exercises that are light and stimulating. You want increased blood flow and you want to aid you lymph system to pump efficiently. 

    Lastly, if you are training for an event it may not be the best time to detox. Detoxing symptoms can throw you off your game. Best time to detox is the off season.

    Q: My daughter Heather is 4 yrs. old and is battling Candida. She has been on antibiotics from the age of 2 months till 1 yr. old about 8 times for ear infections. She developed constipation at 7 months, food allergies at 1 yr. and a lot of food intolerances. She also had heartburn and was getting bad rashes around her mouth when she ate. Unfortunately, I did not know about Candida so this went on for a couple of years. Despite my efforts of taking her to every doctor there was, no one could help me. Right now she is on a treatment for Candida, but she is so sensitive, she can't even tolerate a lot of the supplements. Her bowels do not move at all. I have to do enemas everyday to keep them going. Right now I'm having a hard time finding a laxative she can tolerate. I ordered the "Children?s laxative extract" from DHERBS but after 4 days of being on it her bowels still aren't moving. I started colonic therapy sessions for my daughter and we saw parasites come out of her. When I called DHERBS, I was recommended to e-mail you. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    For Candida, please know the antibiotic medication is the present cause of her persisitent candida (yeast infection). Read our article "Candida Albicans." She needs anti-fungal herbs, not antibiotic medication. These are harming her body.

    The child is very acidic and this may be due to her diet (what you are feeding the child).

    Have your child perform the Children's Detox for starters. A basic cleanse is greatly needed!

    To target the Candida, make your child a tea consisting of Pau' D Arco. Let the tea cool down and add maple syrup (or agave nectar) and a little lemon. Let the child drink this sweetened tea throughout the day (even as a cold beverage).

    Bathe the child in warm water and sea salt (1 box per bath). Add 5-6 drops of tea tree oil to each bath as well. Let the child soak in the water for 30-60 minutes. This bath is very alkalizing (which counteracts acidity).

    Because she has parasites, have the child drink pomegranate juice (often) and eat plenty of pumpkin seeds (often).

    For the enemas, make a tea of Dherbs Bowel Mover tea (let cool down). Pour tea into enema bag and perform an enema with the tea as the enema solution. Some days switch off from the tea and just add hydrogen peroxide (half an ounce per enema bag) to the enema solution (distilled water). Hydrogen peroxide breaks down into oxygen which kills parasites. You could even add 30 drops of Oxy-Drops to the enema bag and perform an enema using liquid oxygen.

    It is imperative you put the child on a vegan vegetarian diet a.s.a.p.! Remove all meat and dairy products as well as all refined grains from her diet (as these feed worms and parasites).

    Have the child drink prune juice before going to bed each night. Dilute the juice with water if necessary.

    The child needs to eat a lot of fruits (i.e. plums, apples).

    Continue to give the child Dherbs Children?s laxative extract daily, perhaps in the early evening hours.

    Q: I started taking Holy Basil two weeks ago for about 4 days and then all of sudden my supreclavical glands, and the back of my neck have been swollen. I have had blood work done and a CT scan and they can't find anything. I was put on Prednisone and a Z-Pac antibiotic but the swelling is still there. They want to wait a week and see what happens but Holy Basil is really the only think I changed. Have you ever heard of this. I am quite scared but between my two family doctors and now the ENT they are really stumped. Of course when I asked them about Holy Basil they didn't know anything about it.

    Q: Hello, I recently purchased full body cleanse. The problem is that I am a body builder and it is impossible to not consume protein for 21 days, I also do not consume soy products.     Q: Yes coconut oil maybe natural but I go thru 3-4 jars per week, 1-1/2 a jar a day, not only is it making me broke out I do not think all that saturated fat is good for me. I know I lack a lot of protein and other vitamins in my diet. Could this lack of essential nutrition cause this weird craving? I don't know if it is the massive loss of blood due to the fibroids.

    I think you know the answer for yourself. Therefore, stop eating the coconut oil. Take some vitamins and minerals and see if this helps. Sounds like PICA, a nutritional deficiency which causes cravings. Blood loss most certainly will cause loss of nutrients.

    Q: I have a question about my tonsils. I had tonsillitis as a child. The last time I had it at the age of 12 my right tonsil remained somewhat swollen. It developed crypts but has not otherwise bothered me until recently. I am now 28 and about a month ago both my tonsils swelled up completely, so much so that I could barely swallow. I took Penicillin for about 8 days, which seemed to bring down the swelling. About a week later it returned. I took amoxicillin for 14 days with the same results. I have taken a strep test and mono test, which have come back negative. I am at a loss, my tonsils are currently quite swollen but do not inhibit me from eating or drinking or swallowing right now. I am concerned about a flare up however, and would like to know what is causing this condition. Could you recommend something to help me with this problem?     Q: I started bleeding heavily last month & it was a week after my normal cycle had come & gone. My ob/gyn dr. performed a DNC & a procedure called Novasure Ablation. It slowed/lessened the bleeding but it did not halt it. I am still bleeding. I don't have fibroids. The polyp that they found during the procedure was benign. The bleeding cannot be explained as all of my organs appear healthy. My dr. has advised me to remove my uterus. Right now I can't afford a consultation plus herbs but I would like to know if you have any suggestions. I wasn't sure if the female cleanse would be enough. I had been on the lemonade cleanse for 9 days when the bleeding started but of course the doctors said there wasn't a relationship.     Q: This past May my sister started to have really bad asthma attacks and allergic relations to scents, dust etc, and a horrible cough. She was told by her doctor that she had asthma and was put on asthma medication, inhalers, etc. the symptoms got worse, she couldn't sleep because she was up all night coughing, the claritin didn't work, etc. She had been complaining the past week of feeling bloated, her ankles being swollen, not being able to breath when she layed down, etc. She couldn't even walk from desk to desk at work. On the way home last week she went into the Emergency room and was admitted and stayed 4 days. We soon found out that she had congenital heart failure and only 25% of her heart is pumping properly. The doctors said that the build up of antibodies in her system showed that she had contracted EB virus some years ago and it permanently damaged her heart. She is limited to only 64 ounces of water a day, takes water pills, blood pressure pills, and is not allowed to eat foods high in sodium. My question is, is there any herbs or vitamins that can be used to help her heart? I do not want her to get a pace maker or have a heart transplant. The medications that she is on now make her so weak and drowsy. I know the doctors said the heart damage is permanent, but I just need to know is there anything else that would help naturally?

    Q: I am on Day 10 of the full body detox. I have had horrible stomach aches (like a punch in the gut), that have kept me up all night, migraines and pimple-like bumps apepar on my scalp (also itch). Now I have welts on my feet, hands and one on my right knee - that are red, swollen and itch. It makes it painful to walk. Is this normal on the detox or an allergic reaction to something? When do you start feeling better because I have felt like crap, with no energy the last 5 days. I have a business trip I must make next week during week 3 of the detox.     You are just very toxic and your body really needs this cleanse as well as future cleansing. Your symptoms state you are toxic and need to focus more on your internal heath. You diet sounds very acid-forming! Changes are needed in your life, especially in the area of diet.
