Q: I have come across several sites that list quinoa as being in the fruit family but this is very confusing to me since it appears to be a grain. My husband uses it as rice and cereal substitute and I am just wondering if it is mucus forming.

    A:

TECHNICALLY QUINOA IS A FRUIT BECAUSE YOU ARE CONSUMING THE SEEDS, BUT IT IS CONSIDERED A GRAIN. IT IS ALKALINE AND NOT MUCUS FORMING.

Q: I get these cramps in my stomach after I eat wheat, regular, or multi-grain breads. Why is that?

    A:

Evidently, the reason for the cramps in your stomach after consuming wheat bread, is because you are not supposed to be eating it. Cause and effect in motion here! It may be Celiac's disease. Perform the Full Body Detox, and then try eating the wheat bread and see what happens.

Q: Are vegan burgers with whole grain brown rice a good food combination?

    A:

There are too many grains in that combination. Consider a veggie side, i.e. salad. We reccomend a vegan, raw foods diet, full of fresh fruits and vegetables in order for you to receive the nutrients you need and detoxify your system.

Q: I just purchased the WEIGHT RELEASE CLEANSE AND REGIMEN and today is my first day. I'm unable to get through on our inquiry line. The diet isn't completely clear to me. Although it says miso soup is ok, I'm unclear on other things. For instance, is tofu ok? What about hummus? What do sprouted grains consist of? Would Eziekial sprouted grain breads and tortillas be ok? The miso soup is the exception to the dietary rule! NO tofu, NO Ezekiel grain breads (no processed grains at all). Sprouted grains are grains (or seeds) soaked in water overnight and consumed. They are not cooked! Hummus is okay (as it's not cooked). Q: I recently considered the possibility that I might have epididymitis from an untreated STD. If this is the case, than the situation has progressed for a couple of years. I read a post in the Q&A section about problems, which resulted from excessive masturbation. The symptoms described are similar to the ones I have experienced, but also my symptoms are similar to ones I have researched as a result of epididymitis from an untreated STD. Because of the possible effects of the condition and my reluctance to seek help, which is probably why I am in the situation, I am even more reluctant to seek medical attention now. But still, I am at the point where I must do something. I am coming to you with this situation because I have tried a few of your products and have respect for your opinion, and there is no one I can get advice from about this. Again, I am reluctant about going to a doctor because I am simply embarrassed and feel like a fool for not dealing with a problem that could have probably been easily solved, which might have now turned into anything.

    A:

Number one, perform the Full Body Detox first and foremost. After this kit, perform the Total Male Cleanse.

    Secondly, change your diet!

Thirdly, FORGIVE yourself. Release any regret and other negative emotions as they don't serve you, Beloved! They prevent you from healing. Let go of the past!

Fourth, THINK POSITIVE! Know that you will be healed and soon!

Fifth: Try dipping your penis into a bowl of cold (or room temperature) aloe vera GEL to give it some relief.

There is healing and help for you, Beloved!

Q: I was reading your article on Astrological Health and I am a Scorpio woman, born on October 31, who does not have a strong sex drive at all. In fact I've never really been into sex at all which has made my partners upset and discouraged at times and has had me thinking that something may be wrong with me. I have even considered seeing a sexual doctor about these issues. You state that the "Scorpio governs the genitalia or sex" and this explains our sex drive but yet I've been sexually active for 7 years and have also never had an orgasm. I was molested from ages 4 to 11 and sometimes I think this has something to do with how I am but I'm just not sure. I would really like to increase my sex drive and be able to orgasm and have considered taking your bunny rabbit formula in order to fix this but now knowing that astrologically I'm supposed to be opposite of how I am (which I've heard before but didn't know the extent until now), I'm beginning to think something is seriously wrong with me. What are your thoughts?

    A:

Please consider scheduling a consultation so we can get to the root of the issue and help you to unblock your blockages that are preventing you from truly enjoying sex and having an orgasm. Consultations are now half price ($50). There is healing and help for you! You're just missing the knowledge you require.

    Q:

    A:

Hi, and thanks for the question.

Canned fruit is pasteurized which is a heat process that renders the food
not raw. Beans are cooked before they are canned and are not raw either.
Most canned food has added preservatives and salt. Best to avoid on a
cleanse. Look for pre sprouted beans and legumes at your local health food
store instead. Dried fruit is better than canned fruit just make sure they do not have added sugars or sulfured.

    Hope that answers your questions.

Q: Hi, me again. (Just letting u know I really appreciate this site and the work Dherbs.com and the others are doing. hotep) I've heard over and over that there are worms and parasites visible to the human eye in all forms of meat and I wanted to know the process with which I could see these parasites. Also I asked before about starch in carbs and was wondering is it best to eliminate carbs completely, or just reduce, and also if eating whole wheat/whole grain.

    A:

You don't have to eliminate anything completely, except for meat, dairy, and artificial salt and sugar. Just cut back on your carbs. Refined grains, such as breads, cereals, pastas, should be eliminated.

We are have numerous informational articles available under ARTICLES on our site. Thank you for your interest in Dherbs.

Q: Can you combine Vegetables (green leafy) with Vegetables (fruit-vegetables)? Are fruit-veggies considered fruit or veggie?

    A:

Green leafy veggies may be combined with fruit-veggies (cucumbers and tomotoes). Fruit-veggies are really fruit. You can always tell because of the seeds. Technically, anything that contains seeds is a fruit!

Q: What types of grains are allowed with the raw foods diet during the FULL BODY DETOX? Are whole grain breads and cereal bars ok? Please clarify. Also, should I stop taking my birth control pill while on the detox? I hear it will cancel out anyway?

    A:

IN REFERENCE TO GRAINS, ONLY SPROUTED GRAINS. NO CEREAL AND CREAL BARS! OF COURSE STOP TAKING YOUR BIRTH CONTROL PILL BECAUSE THE FULL BODY DETOX TARGETS ALL TOXINS AND POISONS AND MAN-MADE/PHARMACEUTICAL BIRTH CONTROL PILLS ARE TOXIC AND POISONOUS. IT WILL MOST CERTAINLY CANCEL OUT.

Q: I was reading your food combination chart and I was wondering if you recommend the eating of organic whole grains, like spelt, millet, quinoa, etc? What about cereal like Ezekiel 4:9?

    A:

You can eat organic whole grains, but not during any of our cleanses. The grains you listed are pretty nutritious, especially the Ezekiel bread which I myself eat from time to time.

Q: I was wondering if anyone has actually tested negative for viral infections (such as herpes or aids) and whether it is a normal result to be considered "virus free" after completion of your detox. Or is it is just like any other detox where it "may help u feel better" by releasing certain toxins but really leaving the virus in your system.

A: Yes, in many cases, after completion of the Full Body Cleanse or the Anti-Viral Cleanse, there are many customers that are completely virus-free. It is important to stick to the guidelines of the Cleanse in order to achieve the best results.

Q: I read your article about FOLLICULITIS AND PSUEDO-FOLLICULTIS and hair bumps. In it you mentioned using Witch Hazel without alcohol. I haven't been able to find any witch hazel that doesn't have alcohol, however I went to a Wild Oats Market and they had all natural Witch Hazel that contains 10% all natural grain alcohol. It's made by Thayer. Is this okay? If not can you recommend or point me in the direction of some acceptable Witch Hazels?

    A:

We suggest doing an intense search over the internet if your not able to find witch hazel without alcohol. The one by Thayer is acceptable. You also have the option of making a natural solution yourself using natural ingredients such as lemon juice or apple cider vinegar.

Q: I AM EXPECTING MY DETOX PACKAGE TO COME IN POSSIBLY ON TUESDAY. I WANT TO START REPLENSHING MY DRY FRUITS. 1. ALMONDS 2. PECANS. 3. RAW CASHEWS. I HARDLY EAT PEANUTS AND I KNOW THEY ARE NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. DO YOU RECOMMEND WALNUTS? MY FAVORITE ARE ABOVE. PLUS SHOULD I GET DISTILLED WATER? ALSO BEFORE DISCOVERING DHERBS, I PUT In A WHOLE WATER FILTRATON SYSTEM IN MY HOUSE AND I BELIEVE IT IS CONSIDERED PURIFIED WATER. IS THIS GOOD OR SHOULD I BUY BOTTLED DISTILLED WATER. I AM VERY ANXIOUS TO START DETOXING BECAUSE THIS IS THE FIRST TIME.

    A:

Walnuts are good to eat during the Full Body Cleanse. Distilled water is the best water during the Full Body Cleanse, but your filtered water would also be okay to drink during the cleanse.
