Last week was my first week on the Full Body Cleanse. I have a question about …

Last week was my first week on the detox program. I have a question about the charcoal – what is it used for? I know that it is part of the detox program, but what organ does it help to cleanse? I
have stopped all meat and dairy products with no problem- but I am still having a difficult time with the sweet cravings. Any suggestions?

Answer by Dherbs

Public

Activated Charcoal aids the detoxification process by helping eliminate toxins and heavy metals.

For sweet cravings, you can eat as much fresh fruit as you’d like while on the cleanse. After your cleanse is finished, you may wish to consume Sugar Control Formula to address those cravings.

Q: I am currently taking the FULL BODY DETOX, after the 3 week, if I take a fleet twice at the end of each week, would I still need to have a colonic done? Are there any side effects from drinking the charcoal if I don't have the colonics done?

    A:

    No (to both questions).

Q: I am about one week into the 3-week FULL BODY DETOX, and I have developed an extremely sore throat, similar to the symptoms of strep throat. The pain is fairly constant during the day and is almost unbearable in the morning when I wake up. Should I get on antibiotics to clear it up or continue the detox?

    A:

Sore throat only means your lymphatic system is inflamed there at your throat. Gargle with warm water and sea salt and drink licorice root tea or lobelia tea. Read the article â€HEALING CRISISâ€

Q: Hi, I've been on the 3-week Full Body Detox for 6 days now and am shocked that I have only lost 1.5 lbs. I've read where 10-50 is expected and have been very strict with my diet but haven't managed to drop much. I am about 15 lbs. heavier than my comfortable body weight so it shouldn't be a question of whether my body thinks I should lose it or not. Any thoughts on what might be happening?

    A:

Sir, Please be patient and judge the cleanse AFTER the 20 days!!!!

Your body may see other things within it as more important than weight loss (release). Weight may be a problem to you, mentally (ego-wise), but not to the body. The body could be addressing something more critical than fat or waste. Relax and just cleanse and enjoy yourself. Trust your body's innate power to heal itself. Body knows best! Stay focused on what you desire! Keep your thoughts in alignment with your desires!

Q: I purchesed both the FULL BODY DETOX and the ANTI-VIRAL CLEANSE AND REGIMEN. During week 3 of the Detox, I had a significant herpes breakout on by buttocks. Therefore, I opened the anti-viral kit and started doing the bath with the sea salt and the oil etc, and used it all up with in a week. Maybe I used too much but everything healed up well. Now I am into the first week of the Anti-Viral kit and on day 3 a small breakout started, but I am out of the Oil and roll on. Do you have a suggestion of something else I can put into the bath water besides the sea salt? I have some tea tree oil. I tried to purchase some Melissa oil, but could not find it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    A:

Use tea tree oil, lavender oil, etc. in your bath water. Add hydrogen peroxide (1 cup) as well. You can oil down with OZ OIL after the bath!

Q: Hi I completed the FULL BODY DETOXlast week. I could have done better because I cheated a couple of times but I did lose 10 lbs and the type of cystitis I have (eosinophillic Cyctitis - which is caused by eosinophils in my bladder that have caused an ulcer type lesion in my bladder that will not heal) felt about 50% better. However, a couple of days after completing the full body detox all my symptoms came back, blood in the urine (from the lesion), pain (primarily for hours after I urinate, by the time the pain subdues its time to urinate again so it becomes a cycle of pain), along with infection type sypmtoms (cloudy urine, inability to hold). My primary question is, how long to do I have to wait to do the detox again? What else do you recommend that my help heal this issue that I have had for over 10 years. I was on antibiotics indefinately because they seemed to ward off bladder infection. Anything you can suggest would help. I thought if was on the detox program for a longer period of time I may heal.

    A:

I would suggest performing the FULL BODY DETOX again RIGHT NOW! However, when you perform it this time around, please drink one or all of the following teas: Juniper Berry, Uva Ursi, and Cornsilk. You have an issue with your bladder. Drink bitter/unsweetened cranberry juice too during the cleanse. Drink vegetable juice (with celery, parsley, and asparagus). I am also going to recommend you take KHEMETIAN GOLD in every glass of water during the detox.

Q: I am on Day 10 of the full body detox. I have had horrible stomach aches (like a punch in the gut), that have kept me up all night, migraines and pimple-like bumps apepar on my scalp (also itch). Now I have welts on my feet, hands and one on my right knee - that are red, swollen and itch. It makes it painful to walk. Is this normal on the detox or an allergic reaction to something? When do you start feeling better because I have felt like crap, with no energy the last 5 days. I have a business trip I must make next week during week 3 of the detox. Can I stop the detox for a week, and finish week 3 later, as I can't afford to feel like I do on my trip.

    A:

    1. Read the article HEALING CRISIS on our site under "Articles."

    2. We don't advise you stop the detox, but if you must, you must.

You are just very toxic and your body really needs this cleanse as well as future cleansing. Your symptoms state you are toxic and need to focus more on your internal heath. You diet sounds very acid-forming! Changes are needed in your life, especially in the area of diet.

    Health is wealth!

Q: I finished my FBD yesterday. Is it normal for people who have done detox hard to eat food I used to eat? I mean meat, fish, etc...I don't have that much appetite somehow. Is this normal? I am thinking about doing Female Cleanse in a week or so...My question is how many time do I need to cleanse my body? I understand it is depend on person but I need to find out.

    A:

We would recommend to incorporate as many of the raw foods you ate during your cleanse into your diet post-cleanse. Try to find a balance with healthy, nutrient-dense foods.

A person can detox 2-4 times per year to cleanse their bodies of any impurities acquired due to lifestyle and environmental factors.

Q: I am currently on my second week of the Full Body Detox. My diet has been according to the food combination chart. I must admit, I cheated twice, not with red meat or pork, with chicken and fish. Anyway, lately my urine has a real funny smell. What is your opinion about this?

    A:

Smelly urine is a part of the cleansing process. Nothing to be alarmed about!

Q: I stopped taking the PARASITE AND WORM CLEANSE AND REGIMEN products for a week because the colon formula made my stomach ache too much. While off the regimen I went to the Dr. for what I thought was a skin infection around the anus from shaving. Turns out I have herpes. I am 40yrs old and haven't had sex in 4 yrs. I am devastated that I have this. Is it possible that the parasite kit products purged this out??

    A:

Sounds like "HEALING CRISIS" manifested this condition to that you knew nothing about. However, I say get a second and third opinion before you embrace and claim your devastation.

Q: My fiance has experienced water retention and discoloration in his right foot and leg for around 2 years. Doctors had him on water pills, coreg for vascular issues and glyberide for high blood sugars. He ordered the Pancreas kit and around a week into the program experienced more swelling in the foot and leg. He stopped the program to resume taking the water pill to see if this would help. He has gained around 12 lbs which is water held in this leg. I know the natural way of good nutrition and herbs is a good course to follow but can you offer some suggestions to help these issues. 1. water retention 2. His stomach rumbles and gurgles 24 hours a day to the point where I thought our neighbors were dragging furniture across the floor. This has caused him considerable embarrassment at work. We are eating a vegan diet about 50% raw-50%-cooked. Oddly enough when he eats a standard American diet the rumbling stops. 3. High blood pressure. Thank you so much for answering my previous letter to you. I believe in what you are doing, and know that the body will heal at it's own pace with proper care. I have resolved a urinary problem just a week into your Detox program and think it's great.

    A:

Your husband is NOT getting proper circulation to his extremities. He should have not stopped the Pancreas kit because it is common for things to get worse before better. He should have judged himself after the kit was finished in 3-weeks. He experienced the HEALING CRISIS and stopped! He should complete the kit and regimen (perhaps even starting over).

His stomach is making noises because he's having digestive problems. He needs to eat as much raw foods as possible and rink plenty of vegetable juice. SAD foods stops his stomach from gurgling because that's what's in his stomach; and when he does not give his stomach what it wants (a sign of fasting and cleansing), he hear the noise from his stomach. Again, the healing crisis. Things will get worse before they get better. However, you don't stop!

High blood pressure is due to his toxic state and poor circulation!

Have him perform the Full Body Detox and right after the Full Body Detox, the Pancreas kit and regimen.

    There's healing from him!

Please peruse some of our free articles so as to truly learn what's going on with his/your bodies pertaining to healing.

Q: I have been on the FULL BODY DETOXfor a little over a week now. I feel great! My husband is willing to do a detox but he will not be able to do the regimen I've been doing ....going on a raw diet. Is there a detox I can get for him that is shorter than 20 days? He's 43, he's a welder and I'm concerned about the metals he's exposed to.

    A:

He'd do well on our 10-DAY SUPREME COLON CLEANSE!

Q: I’m entering my third week of the FULL BODY DETOX. For the duration of the detox, I’ve experienced loose stools. It’s not necessarily always watery; most of the time it’s mushy like, and from time to time I will notice undigested nuts in the stools. I checked your â€DETOX TROUBLESHOOTING†link for diarrhea. I’m wondering, though, if it is an accurate diagnosis of what I am experiencing. Before the detox, I always had approx three bowel movements per day. I’ve been a vegetarian (dairy on occasion) for 10 years, before turning vegan this year. Is this diarrhea? If so, should I be concerned that it’s been going on for the duration of the detox? I’ll be following up the FULL BODY DETOX with the ANTI-VIRAL CLEANSE AND REGIMEN later this week and want to make sure that everything is ok if the loose stools continue through that cleansing.

Q: Hello……I have received my full body cleanse……I am making plans and preparing to start the cleanse next week…..I am viewing the information in the booklet…..I googled the activated charcoal……there has been different reports on it……IS THIS SAFE FOR ME ….To drink this………….….and where can I find recipes that I can put together….during this cleanse that will HELP me make all the necessary adjustments to my diet…….that will assist in the process of this cleanse……..and detox…..thank you for your response…..Thank you for your response….Mrs Marsh

A: The charcoal is safe for you to consume, it's a major part of the detox program that helps pull out heavy metal toxins and drugs from your body. There are raw food recipes on our website, please look on the left side and find the "recipe" link. Be sure that you're only consuming meals that are indicated as raw. You can also find recipes from other raw food restaurants and health food stores.

Q: I have purchased and started your FULL BODY DETOX (FBD) but I need your advice. I'm a so-called diabetic, I'm not overweight 5'9" 140lbs. I've read many of your articles including the one titled "Can I take my medication with FBD?" The first day I started the detox, I didn't take my meds and all I ate was fruits and veggies but my blood sugar was higher than it had been in a long time...356 to be exact. So I stopped and started this week, while taking my meds and it's still been higher than normal...in the 200's range. I understand that you stated that the herbs would be working against the meds since they're considered poisons in the body. My concern is this, I want to continue to cleanse my body but I don't want my blood sugar to stay out of control for an extended period of time...for obvious reasons. My question is, what do you suggest I do in continuing this cleanse? Will the FBD regulate my blood sugar levels over the next 2 weeks as my body begins to repair itself? Or should I continue taking my meds until I'm done with the cleanse? I plan to do the pancreas cleanse next. Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Peace

    A:

Like we clearly and unequivocally explain in so many of our articles, the body is and will regulate itself and you will see this via fluctuation. Levels will be up and down and inconsistent. Your body is going to heal in its own way so if you are concerned about high levels for extended periods of time, you may want to take your meds and refrain from taking the herbs until your levels reach a level you feel safe with. You know, religion is not the only thing that requires faith. Healing requires faith too!

Q: I completed my Full Body Cleanse a week ago. During my detoxfication period I noticed at night (while sleeping) my body would become very hot and I was sweating in my sleep. This behavior continued 2 weeks after I finished the detox. Can you tell me what might cause this?

    A:

You were experiencing HYPERTHERMIA whereby the body raises it owns heat level or temperature to induce sweating which is very therapeutic, as sweating is a form of excreting via the skin, a form of elimination.

Remember, the skin is the largest organ of elimination. The body will use the skin when the other channels need a rest (due to their healing, which takes place during the detox).

Your body also chose this way of eliminating so as to help your skin by helping your pores to open up and breathe. If this lasted 2 weeks after your detox, this is a sign that your skin needs attention ( i.e. hot baths with 1 box of sea salt added per every bath). Watch what you use/put on your skin, i.e. mineral oil, powder/talc, etc.

Q: I am currently serving in Iraq. I started your 20-day Full Body Cleanse and I have a question about diet. The food that is served to Soldiers is terrible here! The fruits and vegetables are laced with pesticides. So there really isn?t a good source of nutrition here. My question is should I continue with my detox even though I'm fighting a losing battle? I can feel the difference in my health after one week so far! Also, do you have any advice or a product that will get rid of excessive body moles? I notice that with aging, my body moles have shown up in the weirdest places and are very visual on my face, neck and upper chest.

    A:

Don't stop detoxing due to circumstances. The herbs are fighting the pesticides. Keep doing what you're doing and you will still see the beneficial results of the cleanse.

Q: I just purchased the FULL BODY DETOX and I have a question. I work a full time job (office work) and a part time job (cleaning). I'm worried if I will be able to work while doing the detox, I also workout (weight lifting) and with eating raw foods and no cooked food, I'm wondering if I will make it the 3 weeks doing this. I want to detox my body but I'm wondering if I can eat anything else (fish, chicken, baked of course). Can you give me some suggestions on what I can do or do you think I can do my normal things and still be on the detox?

    A:

The human mind can make or break you based upon its conditioning! Just take the cleanse one day at a time and FIND OUT for yourself what the reactions will be. You're all in the future worrying! One day at a time! One day at a time! Take things one day at a time. Read the article â€WHAT IS RAW FOODS†because you're asking about cooked foods and prohibited foods (animal flesh) which the kit clearly states should be avoided for 3-weeks. Always THINK positive in life about everything. Your thoughts create your reality!

Q: Dherbs.com, I wanted to update you on my experience with the WEIGHT RELEASE CLEANSE AND REGIMEN; I am on the third week of the program (almost finished) and I have lost 25 pounds thus far and still releasing weight. Although, I know the program calls for all raw foods; I have had a few days where I did not follow the plan (i.e. I had some cooked vegetable dishes and some Quinoa). Although I know this is a no-no; I wanted you to know that in spite of my disobedience; I have still released waste. I am now ready to know what's next. Would you recommend the full body detox? I am still overweight for my frame...and I am more interested in lifestyle changes than temporary fixes. I have been vegetarian for the last year. Thanks for your wonderful products.

    A:

Great testimony and kudos to you! We would recommend that you continue to detox (FULL BODY DETOX) to release that unnecessary weight (waste). For lifestyle change, Dherbs is the place to be (articles, e-books, videos, etc.).
