Chocolate Hemp Heart Smoothie

If you’re tired of green smoothies and want t smoothie that tastes like a liquified chocolate bar, this is the recipe for you. It is incredibly filling, nutrient-dense, and doesn’t contain that many ingredients, which goes to show that tasty creations can happen when you use simple ingredients.

  • 2 tbsp. raw cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp. hemp hearts
  • 1 c homemade almond milk
  • 1 1/2 bananas (cut into pieces and frozen overnight)
  • 1 tbsp. raw almond butter
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • pinch of sea salt


  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. If you want the smoothie to be thicker, add some ice. If you want it to be thinner, add a touch more almond milk.
  2. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
