Honeydew Cucumber Smoothie

  2 rater(s)

This is one of the lightest, most refreshing smoothies that you’ll ever drink. It’s a great recipe to incorporate into your summer smoothie rotation, especially since it contains hydrating ingredients. Honeydew melon, green grapes, and cucumber all have outstanding water content, and they work together in a surprisingly delicious way.

This smoothie showcases the sweetness of the honeydew and grapes, but it also lets the cucumber flavor shine as well. That isn’t the easiest thing to do, but the use of the homemade almond milk accentuates the cucumber flavor. Besides their low calorie and high water content, cucumbers are great sources of vitamin K, magnesium, vitamin C, and magnesium. Cucumbers are very nutritious, even if people think otherwise. They may fall in the shadow of other superfoods, but they deserve nutritional praise. To make the smoothie extra nutritious, keep the skin on the cucumber, as that is where most of the nutrients exist.

It may seem odd to add homemade almond milk into the mix, but it just works. Water may seem like the better choice, but trust us when we say that almond milk is where it’s at. If you wanna make two batches, one using water and one using homemade almond milk, go for it and have a taste test. Which variation will reign supreme? Only you can be the judge!
