Made with refreshing citrus fruits, carrots, and the all powerful turmeric, this smoothie packs a wide range of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory properties, all of which contribute to a healthier immune system.

- 1 1/4 c freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 banana, peeled and frozen overnight
- juice from 1/2 key lime
- 1 -inch piece ginger root, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1 tsp. raw agave syrup
- 3/4 c water
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. You can add more or less water depending on your desired consistency.
- Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if necessary. We like it to be a little tart. Enjoy!
