Made with refreshing citrus fruits, carrots, and the all powerful turmeric, this smoothie packs a wide range of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory properties, all of which contribute to a healthier immune system.

Immune-Boosting Citrus Carrot Smoothie

  • 1 1/4 c freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 banana, peeled and frozen overnight
  • juice from 1/2 key lime
  • 1 -inch piece ginger root, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp. raw agave syrup
  • 3/4 c water


  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. You can add more or less water depending on your desired consistency.
  2. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if necessary. We like it to be a little tart. Enjoy!
