Lemon Basil Flaxseed Salad Dressing

  • 2 tbsp. finely ground raw flaxseeds
  • 1/2 c water
  • 1/4 c freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 tsp. ground mustard seed
  • 1 tsp. organic agave
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper


  1. Place the ground flaxseeds in a glass jar with the water and shake well. Let that sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and shake well. Refrigerate the dressing until you are ready to use it.
