Pineapple Avocado Green Smoothie

Avocados usually aren’t the go-to smoothie ingredient, but they have amazing health benefits. They are rich in magnesium, which is an essential mineral in the body, and it they can help boost the immune system. If you’re a man, avocados have been known to help reduce symptoms of an enlarged prostate. Add in the benefits of pineapple and spinach and you’ve got yourself a supercharged smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 1 c distilled water
  • 1/2 medium ripe avocado, peeled & pitted
  • 2 c spinach
  • 2 c pineapple chunks

Instructions

  1. Add all of your ingredients to the blender in this order: 1 Cup water, 1/2 medium rip avocado, peeled & pitted, 2 cups spinach, 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks. Blend until smooth. If you feel like adding a little organic agave syrup you can do that for a little extra sweetness.
