What if you could cool your body down with a refreshing dessert that was healthy? Well, you can because you have this pineapple mango sorbet. Embracing summer means that you also have to embrace the seasonal produce items, two of which include pineapple and mango. Both of these fruits offer intense sweet, tropical, and slightly tart flavors, which are perfect for cooling off on a hot day.

It may seem like making sorbet is difficult, but it’s actually very easy. For this recipe, you only need mango, pineapple, raw agave nectar, and fresh lime juice. Blend these ingredients together and then pour the mixture into an ice cream maker. If you don’t already have an ice cream maker, consider buying one because it is a game changer for desserts. They are very easy to use and come in different sizes. You can typically freeze the base overnight and make the sorbet the next day.

Once you churn the sorbet, you can enjoy it immediately, or you can place the churned sorbet in the freezer for another 30-60 minutes. This will allow the sorbet to solidify even more, which may give you that signature, firm consistency you want form a sorbet.
