The ingredients in this smoothie work to rehydrate the body, decrease muscle cramps, aid digestion, maintain fluid balance, and give the body a healthy dose of protein after a workout.

- 1 banana, fresh or frozen overnight
- 1 c fresh pineapple, cubed
- 2 tbsp. raw hemp seeds
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1/8 tsp. ginger powder
- 1 c alkaline water (depending on how thick/thin you like your smoothies)
- handful of ice (especially if you used fresh fruit)
- 2 pitted Medjool dates
- Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you get your desired consistency. If you want it smoother, then use more water.
