Raw desserts can be just as sweet and tasty as the desserts that are unhealthy for you. These raw brownies pack a lot of flavor, and you get that subtle hint of sea salt flavor. We strongly recommend adding the cinnamon, even though it’s optional.

Raw Walnut Brownies That Are Sugar & Gluten-Free

  • 2 c raw walnuts
  • 1 c pitted dates
  • 3 tbsp. raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • a dash of cinnamon (optional)


  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until the mixture comes like a stick ball. You don't want to over-process this mixture because the walnuts will break down too much.
  2. Take an 8"x8" pan and line it with parchment paper. Spread the mixture onto the to pan. Make sure that it is evenly spread. Place this in the freezer for about an hour.
  3. Remove from the freezer and slice the brownies. You should get about 12 brownies. Store in an airtight container in the freezer.
